Aveda Clove Conditioner for brunettes

Advantages: An effective colourant, deep conditioning
Disadvantages: Expensive, weighs fine hair down, stains bath and hands

...I bought the clove conditioner and shampoo as a set from lookfantastic.com, as I'd had such a good experience with Shampure. Sadly, this conditioner didn't meet my expectations, which was a shame as I wanted to like it due to the natural ingredients used. It is a very thick conditioner, almost like a paste, so is difficult to spread throughout the hair. I think it was probably a little too rich for my fine hair as it weighed it down too much. Due to it's rich texture, I could only use it through the ends of my hair. It is a very effective colourant, more so than the shampoo alone, but this caused problems as after prolonged use the ends of my hair had picked up more colour than the top. Conditioner that keeps making me see red!

Quick fix colour from Aveda

Advantages: great to liven hair colour up
Disadvantages: none

...of a salon' feel and look, and the colour was excellant. Aveda do a whole range of different colour conditioners to suite every hair type, but for anyone with red hair (coloured or natural), brunettes with red tones or black hair that want extra shine then this really is the best conditioner. Its as gentle as any good conditioner should be, but with the added benefit of giving extra colour. One word of warning though, your hands do go slighlt red when you have applied it, so you need to really wash them after, and if you are leaving it on for longer than 5 mins then I'd wrap your hair in an old dark coloured towel. (it does wash out though, so it doesn't matter if the towel is white)....

Tresemme Conditioner Colour Revitalising

Advantages: A great conditioner

...and conditioners are available in an extensive range to suit all hair types and colours. This particular conditioner is a colour revitalising conditioner so works best on previously coloured hair such as mine. It contains a 'colour locking complex' to enhance the colours vibrancy (according to the bottle) and also contains Vitamin E and Aloe to leave your hair looking shiny and feeling soft and clean. On the Tresemme Conditioning Level, this conditioner is classed as a deep conditioner, which is perfect for my hair. ~Price/Packaging~ The reason this conditioner has lasted me so long is that it comes in a 900ml bottle. Only an amount of a two pence piece is needed to give full coverage to my hair (though my hair is quite short so those with longer hair may need more), hence the reason I am still only three quarters of the way through the bottle...

Review of Aveda Purifying Gel Cleanser

A revitalising conditioner!

Advantages: Great scent, tangle free hair, only a small amount required, great price.
Disadvantages: None

...left standing up all of the conditioner travels down the bottle and it's clear to see that this is a very thick product. Once the lid is opened the bottle has a plastic part inside the hole which means that you have to squeeze the bottle fairly hard before any conditioner will come out. This is great as it means that if I forget to close the cap completely that the conditioner will not leak out and make a mess in the bathroom. The conditioner itself is a pale green colour and as soon as I opened the lid I could smell the glorious minty scent and while it was very strong it was not overpowering. I put this on my hair after using a cheaper tea tree shampoo and I found it lovely and thick and very easy to rub through my hair. It did make my eyes feel a little watery but I was careful not to get any near them just to be on the safe side. I...

I get slightly CREAMY for 24 pounds

Advantages: Smells great, decent sized bottle, handy pump dispenser
Disadvantages: Doesn't condition that well, expensive, need to pay 99p for dispenser, not suitable for dry hair

...Apology: I know you are all sick to the back teeth of reading shampoo ops and I apologise immensely for the boredom created by my last opinion….but, I couldn’t write an opinion about Aveda Shampure shampoo without following it up with the complementary conditioner opinion! Another reason for me writing this opinion is the fact that there have been only 2 other opinions written about the conditioner, and both of these were written over a year ago……so I felt it a duty to let you all know of my experience! Aveda Sap Moss Shampoo

I have already tried the Aveda range before, and was impressed by this product when I saw it on QVC. You can also buy it from Aveda hair salons and over the internet from Aveda.com. This is a pricey product. It comes in a range of sizes from 250ml to a full litre pump bottle. Prices start at about £10 to £40 for the litre pump. However, it is economical - a little goes a long way. I have a friend who bought the litre bottle and it lasted for 6 months of daily use. I bought the 250ml bottle as part of a special offer that included the conditioner for £20. The secret of the shampoo is that you leave it on for a few minutes for the moisturising benefits of the Sap Moss to take effect before you wash it off...

A wonderful intensive conditioner for all the family`s hair

I have found that when I use this conditioner that my hair is in such good condition. No flyaway hairs and no spilt ends. It can be used by all types of hair. It leaves the hair feeling refreshed and like new with no problems with the first use. I bought this as it was easier to have one type of conditioner for all the family than have lots of different bottles. This conditioner was basically not made just for one type of hair. You only need a tiny bit for one use and it is better to leave it on for about 15 minutes to get the full benefit of it. I have never looked back since I tried it. My sort of conditioner

Advantages: Keeps hair healthy
Disadvantages: None that I have noticed

...Aussie color-mate conditioner is exactly what I have been looking for. It's nice and thick and spreads over your hair well, and as soon as it touched my hair, it began to feel soft and silky. I must admit to really see a difference it took a couple of washes, but some conditioners can be used, reused and used again and still have little if no effect. As for keeping the colour of your hair in, I think it actually does help maintain colour. No conditioner is a miracle worker and unless there is dye in the condtioner it's not going to stop your hair from fading back to its original colour. But it does help to maintain colour, especially if you have dyed your hair lighter than its natural colour..don't ask me why it works better this way than vice versa it just does! It is a bit on the expensive side, I pay about 3/4 pounds per bottle...
