The first thing to say is that Rosemary is really easy to grow and in my experience quite forgiving too! Having said that Rosemary is not easy to grow from seed. I recommend you buy your plant from a nursery. They are really cheap, usually about £1 each. April is the ideal month for planting outside although it is not to late now in early may. Rosemary originates from the Mediterranean and so not surprisingly likes to grow in a sunny spot. It also likes sandy soil although my plants grow very happily in clay soil. Planting is really easy; simply dig a hole about 3 inches deep...

Rosemary for Remembrance

Advantages: A wonderfully versitile herb which has many uses.
Disadvantages: Can take a little while to get established, likes good drainage and a sunny position.

Rosemary And Me

Advantages: It does look quite pretty and you can eat it!
Disadvantages: Not totally hardy in cold areas and needs a bit of sand.

...Like many herbs, rosemary is a rather attractive plant. It has long, narrow, spine-like leaves of a silvery, grey-green colour. There is a single species ? r.officinalis ? but you can buy several varieties. Albus is the most popular and the one I prefer, for it has delicate, blue-mauve flowers and is perfect for culinary use. There is also a white-flowered variety, Miss Jessops, and you can buy a ground cover type, Prostratus, to use in rockeries and the like. It is a dense, pretty bush and, as an evergreen, makes a good [edible!] hedge. Grown to full height, it is between four and six feet tall. Mine is not much more than a year old and stands at a healthy two and a bit feet. Hard to grow from seed, you will find small plants at any local garden centre. My local nursery is selling small herbs of all varieties for a paltry 99p...

Rosemary - More than just a plant.

Advantages: easy to grow, tough, tasty, nice smell

When I was very young, the person dearest to me in all the world was my grandmother on my father side, Janet. She was the kindest, warmest, most loving woman in the world, and (unlike my evil parents!) she let me eat the sugary cereals, and spend my pennies on chocolate. Sadly, when I was 9, she got cancer. Aveda - Top Class Cleanser

Advantages: Suits my skin very well. Lovely to use.
Disadvantages: Price!

...gel, but some key ones are extracts of chamomile, lavender and rosemary. Aveda add their own perfume extract, so maybe that is where the geranium comes in. Instructions for using this facial gel are simple - apply to damp skin, massage in, rinse off, pat face gently with towel. The Aveda website does suggest that you can use a washcloth with the gel if you wish (preferably one of theirs with the Aveda logo on it!) but I have never done this and found my own humble fingers perfectly fit for the massaging bit. It took me a couple of times to get used to how much of this gel I needed to cleanse my face. Or rather I should say, how little I needed. Amazingly only one squirt of the pump is sufficient. Review of Aveda Purifying Gel Cleanser

doesn't suit my fine fly away hair at all..

Advantages: invigorating for the scalp
Disadvantages: dries the hair out and leaves behind tangles

...While I have had great results with almost all the Aveda products I used I have tp say this one was a miss for me. A 200ml bottle looks exactly as it does on the picture and costs about 13 pounds from a hairdresser. Ever since este lauder bought the Aveda label I have noticed the prices hiked up a little also can only be sold my aveda salons so I have since moved away from the brand generally. my experience with the shampoo: it is a clear shampoo with a light consistency and as it is quite concentrated you only need the smallest amount to get a lather going - although this does make you wonder what chemical's are put into the shampoo - does it really live up to its eco-friendly claims?? Anyhow as far the shampoo goes it produce a decent lather and the rosemary and mint give an odd hot and cool sensation at the scalp (rosemary...

It is on for an hour, and each episode ends in the one hour (there are no 2 part episodes), and the story starts anew each day, meaning you don't have to watch it every day to know what is happening in the show, just tune in when you want to watch an episode and forget about it until you come across it again. A body lotion that actually refreshes the skin and senses

...really is; there is scientific studies showing that limited amounts of sulphates (SLS, ALS) does not irritate the skin esp iif it then rinsed out straight away as shampoos are. It is now part of the este lauder corporation but operates and manufactures seperately. The Body Lotion: Ok ramble over, I don't why I did that I just felt like a ramble today. The aveda romsemary and mint body lotion is part of their rosemary and mint collection which includes shampoo, conditioner, hand + body wash and this lotion. It is one of their more basic ranges. The body lotion contains, aloe vera, lavender, marjoram, peppermint, rosemary, menthol and vitamin A and vitamin E. It will grow to a height of between 3 and 5 feet. ***Cultivation*** Propagate from cuttings of the twisted wood of non-flowering branches in early summer, or layer established branches. Rosemary with a hint of Salsa!

Advantages: Fun workout, good music tracks, Rosemary is encouraging

...I have been on a task to lose some weight after having Harry, as I never really shifted those baby pounds (naughty me). I've done well through healthy eating, losing just over a stone and I am now back to the weight I was just before I got pregnant. However, I like to do a bit of exercise every now and then just to keep fit, and I also want to tone up as well...this is the bit I am still trying to work on!
