I'm running the card on Windows XP Pro but it's also compatible with Windows 2000, nothing lower. The box says it's also compatible with Windows Media Center Edition (Windows MCE), which means you would not need to use the AVerMedia software and just use the MCE in-built media functions. The main issue I've had with the card is with the software. WHen recording more than the norm (i.e. 4GB+ files about 4 hours of programmes without stopping), the software seems to freeze. ...of varying quality they often are solid enough to get a general idea of what happened between the two fighters. The following part of the magazine is one of the most helpful, it features key dates for fights in the UK and in the major fights in the World as well as what boxing is on the TV and what time. This is incredibly useful for those of us who like to look forward to what boxing is when, though sadly not having Eurosport means I often miss out on the televised British fights. It's goes to a single week for the TV and 3 weeks for the key dates. There is then a 2 page spread on their feature of the week that often looks at an upcoming fight or a great prospect of a fighter. Sadly the magazine could do with more of these sorts of sections rather than just a single one a week as they are amongst the best things in the rather formulaic...

A X rated box under my TV

...Bear with a old man as he attempts to review a modern piece of technology!! My grandson stays with us at weekends and so we bought him a X Box 360 to keep here so he just has to bring his games with him. I must say that my first annoyance was that there was only one controller in the game, as he likes to play with other people I found that I had to go and buy a new controller which cost me another £40. The controllers are wireless and have quite high sensitivity. The battery life is very ,we rarely have to change them, but I do recommend rechargable batteries for anything- do work out a lot more economical. The controller itself is quite bbulky, but is very easy to handle and use, it fits in well though with our Sky box , it is quite heavy too. If you are lookin to buy an X box I suggest that you shop around...

...Professor Layton and Pandora's Box is an excellent game utilizing the Nintendo DS's features to their full extent. Although I only briefly played the prequel to this game, "Professor Layton and the Curious Village" my initial thoughts on both game gave me a verdict that this game had greater complexity and although the storyline did at points relate back to the previous game, gave a starting point for new gamers who didn't own/use the previous title. The game is obviously, if you have seen trailers or know the genre, a puzzle game, as you hear this you would probably immediately assume a few things that would have been compromised in, these being the graphics and storyline.
