Avon Clearskin Cleansing Scrub
Review of Avon Clearskin Cleansing Scrub by
Rine
Advantages: It's refreshing and cleansing.
Disadvantages: It may be too harsh for sensitive skin.
...***PRODUCT ADVANTAGES***
If you want a face wash that leaves your face feeling extremely refreshed and fully-cleansed, this cleansing scrub is just the thing for you.
It contains micro-particles which gently remove dead skin cells and leaves you feeling fresh and clean.
Its anti-bacterial formula also helps it get rid of dirt that gets into your skin.
***DISADVANTAGES***
But, unfortunately, this product does have disadvantages as well. The small particles it contains that makes it so refreshing may be too harsh for sensetive skin and may cause the skin to peel. This is why, if you have sensitive skin or not, you are only supposed to use this product three times a week at the most.
***WHERE IT CAN BE BOUGHT***
This is an Avon product, so it can be bought in a number of ways, first of all, it can be bought using a form...

More DRYSkin than Clearskin
Review of Avon Clearskin Facial Wipes by
Star92
Advantages: Not tested on animals
Disadvantages: Drys out the skin
...I needed a pack of general all purpose facial wipes to keep in my gym locker, when browsing the Avon book I saw these and gave them a go.
They come in a plain white resealable packet with one small blue square with the product name and the Avon Clearskin logo. The wipes are white clothes which are very moist but don't smell very pleasant, they cost £4 for a packet of 25 wipes but are generally on some kind of offer such as 3 packs for £5 (bargain!).
The wipes were refreshing and removed foundation, although the packet warns to keep product out of eyes so I didn't use them to take off my mascara. One small wipes is enough for the entire face so are good value for money.
My skin is NOT sensitive and I can usually use any product, however after 3 days of using these wipes my face had gone dry, red and chapped in places. As soon...

Get a fresh clean glow from Avon
Review of Avon Clearskin Astringent Cleansing Lotion by
SusanLesley
Advantages: It makes my skin feel very clean and it's not too expensive
Disadvantages: Can only be purchased from Avon
...Avon Clearskin is the best cleanser I have ever used and I can’t say fairer than that, can I?
It is a blue astringent liquid, which is made for use on sensitive skin. I just put a few drops on a cleansing pad and wipe my whole face and neck area, avoiding my eyes obviously. If I have worn eye make up, I remove that with a specialist eye make up remover from Yves Rocher before using Clearskin.
I find that the creamy cleansers tend to make my face feel very greasy, but with Avon Clearskin the result is fresh, clean skin, ready for the application of moisturiser.
It is suitable for daily use and I tend to use it again during the day if I do any exercise as it removes the perspiration and any accumulated grime and leaves my skin feeling alive and glowing.
It comes in two sizes 125ml and 250ml and costs about £2 and £3...

Best buy of 2003 from avon
Review of Avon Clearskin Balancing Clay Masque by
tracy2002
Advantages: Clears skin
Disadvantages: smell
...Years ago I used to have a boots natural collection lemon peel off face mask....as with most things they change and no longer make it. Since then I have struggled to find a face mask I am completely happy with.
While looking through the Avon book I see they do various face masks but I was unsure whether to buy one or not but right at the back of the book there was a section of products which were half price. One of these products was a face mask so I thought I would give it a go especially as it was half price, I could bare loosing £1.75 if I got it and only used it once. It is a 75ml tube.
The packaging is very basic, the same as all of the clearskin range. A white tube with a blue lid with Avon clearskin clearly marked on the front with clay mask written in a green box. On the back of the tube it gives brief instructions...

Review of Avon Clearskin Cleansing Pads by
fuzzibear
Advantages: Compact
Disadvantages: Size, only available from avon, not a lot of cleanser
...I remember when I was younger, with hideous teenage skin, my mum swore by Avon’s clearskin products and bought them for me by the bucketload. Not knowing what I know now about skincare, I can't really comment on their effectiveness.
Seeing a recent special offer on these, I decided to give it a try. I find these pads handy for those mornings when I sleep in, & have about 2 minutes to get to work!
The pads arrived and I was shocked at the size, it was a very small jar with a blue screw lid, and fitted in the palm of my hand.
Reading the very small print on the back of the pads, I was even more shocked. These are recommended AFTER the usual cleansing and toning routine, not instead of. I'm assuming these are deep cleansing cloths to lift trapped dirt rather than the usual removing everything pad I was hoping for...

Review of Avon Clearskin Cleansing Scrub by
wulise
Advantages: Great for teenage skin!
Disadvantages: Not really sure if it is good for older skin.
...After reading a few opinions here on Ciao praising ‘Avon’s Clearskin Cleansing Scrub’, I thought that I would try it for myself. I liked the scrub, but only used it a couple of times a week ti prevent damaging the dermis.
Avon’s Clearskin Range is designed for teenage skin, which tends to require extra care. Within this range ‘Avon’s Clearskin Cleansing Scrub’ can be found. It is specifically designed for the care of teenager’s skin. The packaging is simple with minimal fuss. It is ideal for both sexes to use, giving the skin a fresher look. ‘Avon’s Clearskin Cleansing Scrub’ really hits the spot! This is an excellent product to use on oily skin and whilst gently remove dead skin cells. Although my teenage years are well in the distant past I still thought that I would try ‘Avon’s Clearskin Cleansing Scrub’ out.

Helps balance a combination skin tone
Review of Avon Clearskin Balancing Clay Masque by
lashforever
Advantages: Cost, Improved skin tone
Disadvantages: Smell and appearance may be off-putting to ones not used to beauty treatments!!!!
.... With experience, I have found that face scrubs are a tad too harsh for my skin and after a lot of pondering; I narrowed my search criteria to once-a-week masks.
AVON
I have used the Avon cellu-sculpt and really liked the way it felt on my skin and hence decided to settle for an Avon face mask. My first stop, the Avon website had many bargains, offers and combined 2-in-1/3-in-1 deals. However, I was not interested in sampling other products and decided to surf the world wide web to compare prices on various Avon face masks. Avon has numerous masks for every type of skin like the pore-fection mask, anew alpha peel-off mask, deep cleansing warming mask, ultimate moisturiser mask, clearskin clay mask etc. Avon Clay mask seemed to be tailor-made for oily spots on the face without being too harsh on the rest of the skin and hence I decided to try it out...

Bye Bye Blemishes!
Review of Avon Clearskin Cleansing Scrub by
Vicky_M
Advantages: Minty, tingly, gentle yet effective, cheap and BLUE!
Disadvantages: None
...I've been looking for a gentle yet effective range of skincare products designed to meet the demanding needs of my blemish-prone skin for years and finally the search is over! Avon's Clearskin range is designed for young problem skin, which did put me off it at first because I'm now in my 20s and products intended for teenagers tend to be a bit too harsh for my liking. However, about a month ago when I was browsing the Avon website I noticed that the entire range had been reduced to half-price - you don't get much better value than that as the products are already cheap! So, I decided to give the Clearskin Invigorating Cleansing Scrub a go as the scrub I had previously been using was running out and I wanted to try something new. It cost only £1.75 - bargain! Usually costs £3.50 but it's always on offer. When my Avon delivery arrived...
