...This is my first time ever writing a review, so bear with me people! Although I'm an Avon rep, I've never tried any of their hair care range, as I always used to get my shampoo and stuff from the supermarket, like most people do. I've got really thick, straightish hair that never seems to do what I want it to! I've tried just about every hair product there is to try and tame it, but nothing has seemed to work as well as Avon Straight and Sleek Shampoo and Conditioner. You get a big bottle of the stuff and it lasts for ages. As I said, I've got extremely thick hair and a 50p sized blob of the shampoo seems to do me. The conditioner is really thick too so you don't have to use much of that either. I don't like runny conditioners as I seem to use too much and then my hair just looks greasy. ...Well, I have tried lots of different styling products over the years but none so good as Avon Kids Super Gentle Soft Styling Gel!! I am now 33 years old and my hair is (although I will not admit it in public!) thinning quite rapidly. I refuse to have a parting at just above ear level and would never consider wearing a syrup, (no offence to anyone who does!) Many of the styling gels that are available on the market contain a cocktail of various chemicals, which after just a few hours use make my sensitive head itch like mad and flake, like a fresh bowl of cornflakes! ...This is another Avon planet spa product, I love the Avon planet spa range so much I can’t resist trying each ad every one of the products in the range! My Avon lady must love me by now I order so much Avon stuff it is untrue! The prices are great and the products are great to! This hair mask is part of the planet spa’s olive oil range, and costs about £4 for a round 200ml tub. It comes in a see-though round tub and the product is a light greeny colour. It smells gorgeous! It has a fresh smell to it. I have been using this product for about 5 months now, and will continue to use it. The first time I used it I applied it in the bath, big mistake! ...As you may have read in any of my previous reviews I have real trouble with my hair. Because it is coloured and naturally frizzy it dries out really quickly so I am constantly on the look out for new intensive conditioners to inject some moisture in my hair. After being a devoted follow of the Avon Planet Spa range I was really pleased to learn that they also offer hair care in the form of an intensive conditioning so I decided to give it a go... When I stumbled across the conditioning mask. I was buying Olive Oil whipped body cream which is £6 per tub and Avon had an offer on where I could buy another product from the Planet Spa range for just £1. ...Was flicking through the avon book as we women do, looking for some inspiration. I noticed a new product Avon skin so soft hair removal cream,plus it was on special offer for £4.00 usually £6.00 . Packaging A coardboard container, light blue with full instructions written on the back. Inside the pack there is a tube (150ml) hair removal cream plus a handy spatula also with a soft tip (also blue). It also states fresh and smooth.. Cream This is white and very smooth, it doesnt have a very pleasant smell, doesnt smell no different from any other hair removal cream think in a small bathroom this could become unbearable. ...I suffer from sensitive skin and my legs really itch when I shave them, so I tried this hair removal cream, being a regular Avon customer. I should also say that I have coarse, dark hair. Although this cream is about £6 for a tube (200ml I think), it took at least a third of the tube to cover both legs. As my leg hair is so dark and thick, I followed the instructions very carefully, having used hair removal cream before and it not removing much hair at all. The instructions were to shower my legs with lukewarm water for several minutes before applying the cream. I did this. I then applied the cream thickly, as per the instructions, and left it on for the maximum time you can leave the cream on, i.e. 10 minutes. Some money I had earned all alone which couldn't be accounted for and could be brought to good use in decorating the house we had just bought a few months earlier and in re-styling the mass of hair I was carrying with me on top of my head which could only be described as an utter mess. I asked her the question she was waiting for (How?) and, the experienced angler that she was, knew the fish had taken to the bait. I was informed that both of them were working for Avon Cosmetics, she herself as an Area Sales manager and the younger one as a Sales Leader. Among other things... water, hydroxyethylcellulose (an ingredient used in the 'artificial tears' type eyedrops), cetrimonium chloride (a product used to smooth the hair shaft), citric acid (used as a preservative), glycerine, Indian Lotus flower extract (nelumbo nucifera), Holy Basil leaf extract (ocimum sanctum), safflower oil (carthamus tinctorus) and Sandalwood oil (santalum album) and a product called BHT, or butylalted hydroxytoluene.
