...I like Avon Wilderness for Men Shower Gel. Well, if I didn't like it, I wouldn't buy it, would I?! I Had some Avon Wilderness for Men some time ago, when the Avon Wilderness for Men range had just been brought out. A few weeks before Christmas we had a visit form a new Avon lady who had just started up in our new housing estate. A modern housing estate full of young professional couples? Ideal pickings for a new Avon lady, I would have thought? And so, nearly £30.00 later, it proved! (And I bought my stuff at special offer prices! The catalogue had a scratch and sniff feature on several pages and one of the pages that featured the scratch and sniff facility was for Avon Wilderness for Men. ...This is another product from Avon of which I am rather fond. Avon Black Suede Shower Gel is a light and pleasant fragrance. There is an initial sense of (what??) pine needles? No, not quite pine needles, but there is definitely something there that is quite different. But it soon settles down to a smooth and refreshing fragrance. It is not over-powering and certainly helps to give you a "I just had a fantastic shower or bath" kind of a feeling. It is sweet, yet not too sweet. Unlike the Avon Wilderness Shower Gel that I have also reviewed, there is not a hint of traditional fruitiness about Avon Black Suede Shower Gel. Although it, too, is a certain kind of "woody" scent to it, it is of a different type of woodiness to, say, Avon Wilderness Shower Gel. ...i use a lot of avon products especially bath and shower gel, they are normally 3.00 a bottle at full price but in my last avon book they were on offer and i could have 4 for 5.00,so anyway i had my normal one,s and thought i would try the soft musk one as well as i hadn,t tried this one before. ~ Avon soft musk ~ The bottle is 200ml and is a pale pink colour , with a brown flip lid, it actually stands as well with the flip lid on the bottom . ~ The smell ~ You can use it in the bath or shower i used it in the bath, i poured some under the running water as my bath was filling . The shower gel is clear in colour and is quite thick. I could smell musk as the water is running , and also when i put it on a flannel or loather i could smell it . ...Well I got some Avon products as a gift lately and The Avon Musk for Men shower gel was one of lot that I liked quite much.It comes in a medium green plastic pack. It's got a nice strong perfume which stays for quite long after the shower.It's keeps body odours off ,or rather neutralises it so that when you are in a hot place,you dont smell sweaty.... It has a nice moisturising action too,I must say.Though when I first used it,it wasnt as foamy as I expected it to be compared to other showe gels,,but you do feel when you apply it to your skin.I do know know the exact term to describe it but it;s kind of smoothe and gentle to skin. I never known any side effects of it,.... If you buy it from the Avon catalogue,it's cheap I suppose.Last time I checked it there was an offer of £2 per shower gel...Of course the more you order... ...Avon Senses shower gels are well priced at £1.50 for 250ml. I have tried and still use the Mystique and Reflection ones from the range, but there are several others, all with different smells and bright colours. Mystique claims to be sensual and romantic, and in fact, does smell how I would imagine it would. There is the slightest hint of sweetness to it, but not too much. The frangrance is absolutely gorgeous, and lasts for a few hours after showering. Being pink helps in my house! Rflection is purple, and labelled as peaceful and soothing. i expected it to smell of lavender, but it doesn't. Again, the frangrance isn't overpowering and smells like nothing else I can accurately describe. It's a bit like a combination of Radox bubble bath, and those night-time pillow sprays you can buy to aid sleep. That sounds daft... Read review

...I seem to be on a roll here with shower gel reviews, so here is another one. I do not spend all my time in the shower, I just like to try different products and then go back to my favourites to use! Avon sell a huge range of beauty products. Perceive is one of their better ranges, ie , it can cost a tiny bit more, but not much. Avon describe the smell of Perceive as "woody, floral". I would have to agree with them. It is a little earthier than my favourite Avon product Celebre. It is also a summer smell, i would not use this shower gel in winter as i think it is a summer scent, light and airy. It comes in a 150ml tube which can be annoying as I am used to shower gels with flip lids, not screw lids. You want a flip lid in the shower for ease of use. The 150ml tube costs £3.00 which is dearer as their shower gels... Read review

...Celebre by Avon is a lovely sweet smelling range. You can get perfume, talc, skin softener and shower gel in this range. Celebre first appeared in the Avon books in the 1990's and has remained in their books ever since. It is very popular and has a lovely smell. PACKAGING ++++++++++ The Celebre range all comes in lovely pink and gold colour design. THE SCENT ++++++++++ Wulise has said in her review of the Eau De Toilette (you should read it, its spot on), "For me, I find Celebre has an uplifting aroma that combines a blend of flowers, waterfruits and woody notes giving it staying power on the skin" Sorry to quote her, but I have to agree and couldn't find a better way of saying it so I am giving her full credit for the description. ...At the moment I am having a lot of fun testing new Avon products. Today I would like to introduce the ‘Avon Aqua Shower Gels’ range to my Ciao portfolio. I thought I would try these Shower Gels out as they were on special offer and I had forgotten to pack some “everyday” shower gels to use at the gym. Well that is my excuse and I am sticking to it! Okay so the gym provides a shower/shampoo but I personally do not really like the aroma, or the fact that it is not designed for sensitive skin. Now I must get back to the subject in question, ‘Avon Aqua Shower Gels’ and in particular Aqua ‘Sensitive’ Shower Gel. In the past, I have tended to use Aqua ‘Sensitive’ shower gel, simply because it did not upset Shane’s skin or mine. (Shane tends to suffer from Eczema and generally has sensitive skin). ...Far Away Bath and Shower Gel. I have never bought from Avon before but I thought I would give them a go when a colleague became a representative. Showered with little booklets all taking up space on the canteen tables I decided to rummage through. I was a little disappointed as in my eyes the magazines were full of make-up. I'm not very into make up. I push the magazine away from me and as if on cue another colleague enters the room. "Mmm, you smell nice. What perfume have you got?" I asked innocently as I have been on the lookout for a decent fragrance since my Anais Anais reacted funny on my skin! "Far Away" from Avon she said and showed me the product. ...Since buying Avon Senses Shower Gel approximately 2 months ago, I have not bought any other brand of shower gel. Why?, I hear you ask. Well the following are the reasons why I believe these really are the best value shower gels currently on the market... 1). Since I started using Avon Senses shower gels, my partner has commented on how soft my skin has felt, and I haven't been using any new products other than these shower gels! 2). These shower gels are available in an excellent range of fragrances.
