...This is another product from Avon of which I am rather fond. Avon Black Suede Shower Gel is a light and pleasant fragrance. There is an initial sense of (what??) pine needles? No, not quite pine needles, but there is definitely something there that is quite different. But it soon settles down to a smooth and refreshing fragrance. It is not over-powering and certainly helps to give you a "I just had a fantastic shower or bath" kind of a feeling. It is sweet, yet not too sweet. Unlike the Avon Wilderness Shower Gel that I have also reviewed, there is not a hint of traditional fruitiness about Avon Black Suede Shower Gel. Although it, too, is a certain kind of "woody" scent to it, it is of a different type of woodiness to, say, Avon Wilderness Shower Gel. ...I like Avon Wilderness for Men Shower Gel. Well, if I didn't like it, I wouldn't buy it, would I?! ...Avons eye shadow seems to be getting better and better, i used to be a Avon rep, but decided it wasnt for me, i used to love trying all the eye shadows in the samples. the eye shadows are sooo smooth, it doesnt crinkle, its nice a light and stays on all day. my favourite colour is definatly lilac whisper, its a lovely colour that goes with almost anything. subtle whilst looking a bit wild. i would recommend it to you all. i know its usually hard to find the right colour for the right outfit but avon have it all.... ...I BOUGHT THIS PERFUME FROM MY SISTER AS SHE WAS JUST STARTING OUT AS A SALES REP FOR AVON. I WAS NOT THAT IMPRESSED BY THE PRESENTATION OF THE PURFUME AND THOUGHT IT WAS NOT REALLY ME. I THINK IT WOULD SUIT SOMEONE A LITTLE OLDER OVER THIRTY MAYBE. IT IS VERY FLOWERY AND IT TENDS TO STAY WELL ON YOUR CLOTHES EVEN AFTER WASHING. ...I love Avon’s night musk eau de toilette spray. I have been using it since i was 17 so i've used it for 10 years. I have tried other perfumes but i haven't found any that i like as much as night musk. It had a gorgeous oriental scent to it. It comes in a 50 ml blue bottle and that comes in a blue box. The musky fragrance is delightful. It can be worn day and night and is pleasant to wear. It costs £8 to buy from Avon that is not a bad price to pay. Some times it is on offer from Avon at half price (£4). You can also get the Avon roll-on anti-persperant deodorant, perfumed talc, perfumed body spray, moisturising bath and shower gel and skin softener all with the night musk fragrance. ...If you have not got an Avon representative in your area, then i would suggest that people have a look at the Avon UK website. You will find it at www.uk.avon.com, it was currently being updated when i visited it but you can apparently order selected items from it, but what you can do is request a brochure and they will post one to you so you can browse at your leisure. There range includes:- cosmetics, perfumes and aftershaves, footcare items, jewellery and underwear etc. You can pick up some good bargains with Avon as they usually have loads of items on offer for you to try, and their no quibble guarantee ensures you can't lose. With the brochure, they send you an order form and prepaid envelope. You can pay for your order by cheque, credit card or postal order but there is a delivery charge of £2.50 when you order this way. ...The Avon cosmetic shopping from home sevice is a boon for the houebound. My wife is housebound and, although I can turn my hand to most domestic requirements shopping for make up is totally beyond my, (or any other males) comprehension. It is not just the convenience of shopping from home for these important commodities that makes Avon an excellent service for the housebound. It is also an excellent way to make a new friend. The Avon lady who visits my wife is from the same age group and has developed into a very close friend. She is almost one of the family. Products can be sampled, the prices are very competitive, the service is reliable and the wide range of selection is equal to any large department store.
