Advantages: Brillaint TV Disadvantages: Hard to get used to
...One of the TVs in my house has just been replaced, we was lucky enough to get a deal on the Samsung PS50b451 instead of it costing around the £700 asking price a friend of ours used her staff discount and along with some vouchers, the TV cost us around £350 which is brilliant for what it is. bit of a bargain actually.
I thought I would review it to see if it is actually worth the £700 asking price to those who aren?t as lucky as us to have a friend who works in a shop that sells them.
Why choose this one?
The reason that we choose this particular TV is that we wanted one in the 50 inch size range to replace the old one, and when we had a look at the range available we found that this one was not only the cheapest for what it is, but also we found that this one was the better looking of the three we narrowed our choice down to...

Review of Samsung PS50B451
Advantages: Stunning looks, stunning looks, stunning looks & superb sound Disadvantages: Difficult to find, some manufacture flaws, small base without the feet
...I found out about these speakers after they stopped making them and had only ever heard rumours or seen pictures of the silver versions. I was thinking about the replacement XT8's but you cannot see the lovely aluminium from the front of the new ones and they are £1,200 more. The silver versions are amongst the best speakers I have ever experienced. The clean retro lines and curves, the bold yellow paper-kevlar mid cone and unlike many others they are quite discrete yet powerful, these are some of the most beautiful speakers I have ever seen. The foot print and look were some of the most important factors in my decision to purchase followed by the quality and reputation B&W manage to maintain. Without the metal feet the base seems smaller and could be knocked over, watch out for parties. Although slim there are 2 bass cones which...

Review of B & W XT4
Advantages: Range of viewing screen sizes, Fantastic picture quality, price Disadvantages: none
...I have just bought the Toshiba 28W33B 28in widescreen television and am so amazed at how brillant it is, We didn't pay a fortune for it either, (£279) which makes the very high standard of it even harder to believe.
The manual is quite easy to understand bit to much explanation on some things but overall was easy for me to understand
Fantastic picture quality one of the best i have seen in a while, shows programs and films in perfect quality,
When first switched on you may have to adjust the brightness and colour settings to your own comfortable viewing standard.
Menu selections (colour, screen adjustments etc) that come up on the television screen using the remote are easy to understand. Just remember to click on store after altering things!
Menu screen consists of picture, sound and feature,
Feature includes sleep...

Review of Toshiba 28W33B
Advantages: Small, heats the fulll room, bargain price Disadvantages: takes a whle to heat up
...B&Q Oil Filled Radiator
Bought one of these around 6months ago our heating wasn't going to be working for a couple of weeks so bought this for the bedroom. Went to B&Q as knew they had quite a selection didn't want a huge one as we don't really have much room in the bedroom.
We bought it as a replacement for the halogen that we had been using which the dogs kept walking past and singing their tails in.
It takes quite a while to heat up even when it is on full power but once it is warm it is more than enough to warm our bedroom up. It has various settings of heat so once the room is warm you can turn it down which is a really useful feature, the dial for doing this how ever does not have numbers on it and I do think it would benefit it if it did so you could turn it down a set amount and know which setting you usually use...
Advantages: Cheap, performs core functions well Disadvantages: No data cable, location of memory card slot
...Introduction
Whilst out shopping my wife suddenly decided that she needed a new phone as she wasn?t happy with her LG Cookie that she had only had for six months. As she is on a sim only contract, it meant that we would have to pay for a new phone for her. Previously she has always liked Samsung phones so when she saw the newly released B3310, she decided it was the one for her.
Purchasing the phone
We bought the phone in-store from the Carphone Warehouse for £49.95 but we also had to buy £10 airtime on top of this. If we had chosen not to buy the airtime then the phone would have cost £99.95 instead which seemed a bit strange but evidently all phone manufacturers do this. We had the choice of 2 colours, light blue or pink. Unsurprisingly my wife went for the pink phone which will pretty much ensure that I...

Review of Samsung B3310
Advantages: Lots of big tunes Disadvantages: A couple of tracks let it down
...The Port Arthur, Texas rapper Bun B released his debut solo album, "Trill", in 2005 due to the fact that his band mate, Pimp C, was incarcerated, and therefore couldn't work with him to make another UGK album at the time. Together, they have been in the rap game since the late eighties, and were part of the movement to get the southern sound out to the masses.
1. "The Inauguration" (Intro)
2. "Bun"
To get things underway you have him dropping a track, which after he has told us about his role as the president of the H-Town Rap scene, finds him showing exactly why he deserved to take up this position (despite not actually being from here) as he is one of few to make the H-Town sound go to all the far reaches of the globe.
**Four Stars**
3. "Get Throwed"
On this one you have the single collaboration of Bun with his partner in...

Review of Trill - Bun B
Advantages: Walkman, fitness application and slim and sexy!!! Disadvantages: battery dos'nt last that long
...The W580i is total wicked I love this phone, I bought it when it first come out like a year ago!!
I love my phone it's soooo slick, sexy and slim you can just chuck it in your bag and go and you can just pop it in a small purse on a night out or slip it in your back pocket!! It also looks great.
And its not just about the way it looks, who needs an Ipod or MP3 player when you've got this phone you can store all your favorite tunes on here and listen to them wherever you go! Also check this out with Shake control, a song from your playlist is randomly chosen at the flick of your wrist, and it soooo easy to download and transfere all your tunes on to. It also comes with wicked comfy headphones and you can buy really cool speakers to!!!
The camera is great too such a clear picture and sooo easy to use and download to your pc...

Review of Sony Ericsson W580i
Advantages: Good story, quite witty Disadvantages: Possibly not for male readers
...territory, not only in the form of the private investigators themselves, but also as authors of the genre, and it seems that as a species, they're going all out to give the men a run for their money. Sue Grafton, Kentucky-born author with a mystery-writing heritage, brings us a thirty-two year old P.I. with the androgynous handle of Kinsey Millhone (what's wrong with giving a female detective a feminine name, I wonder?) who ticks most of the qualifying boxes, knows how to handle a gun and has no qualms about using it.
In B is for Burglar, the second in the so-called 'Alphabet' series, Kinsey (let's be chivalrous and call her by her forename) is approached by a woman anxious to trace her sister, of whom nothing has been heard for six months or more. There's no love lost between the siblings, but the two women are among a number...
Advantages: Walkman, Stylish, easy to use Disadvantages: Battery Life and lack of camera flash
...Hi ,first review so here goes :) ...
I bought this phone basicly, because I wanted the Sony W910i, but couldn't afford lol. I picked this up for about 100 quid, (w910i is about 200 quid) and was not expecting much because of the low price. However, having compared it with the W910i, this one does basicly exactly the same, but for half the price. Bargain! I also think that this one actually looks better, although it is perhaps more suited to a female as is not as wide as the w910i, and the buttons are very small even for my little fingers!
I have the phone in Urban Grey..first things first it looks very sleek and slim, and I have had lots of comments on how cool it looks. It has LED lights in the sides which change colour when you change the theme - looks great but probably uses more battery than it's worth, as there is no function...

Review of Sony Ericsson W580i
Advantages: Easy to use, great features in an affordable phone Disadvantages: Poor quality keypad.
...I bought the Sony Ericson W580i as a gift for my daughters 13th birthday, and she loves it. We got her the pink one which was exclusive to Orange shops, so it had to be on an Orange pay as you go, which caused some problems as they refused to offer the texts deal they were advertising at the time.
Anyway onto the phone which my daughter mainly uses to listen to music, and make occasional calls to let us know where she is, and text her friends. All of the basic functions are easy for her to use (if not for us old fogies to use) and the 2.0 megapixel camera is ideal for quick snapshots of her and her friends and sisters when they're doing something silly.
It all fell down when the keys started cracking though. After 3 weeks of use the first of the number keys cracked, followed quickly by 2 others. We then had problems with the shop we...
