MY VIEW
My son loves Tractor Tom- personally I prefer the more life like Little Red Tractor, but who am i to argue. James Nesbitt and Lisa Tarbuck's voices really add to Tractor Tom's appeal....
Advantages: Cheap shots with a bottle of Stella Disadvantages: Unisex toilets
...The Baa Bar is a great place to go on a night out. If you're in Liverpool you have got to give it a go. If you are a student you should go there Monday to Wednesday as there are mainly only students here then. However, if you go on a Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday it is completely packed, not just with students but with some older people too. This bar is the kind of place that you get a great variety of ages in, anyone is welcome and anyone comes.
This place is cheap in some ways but expensive in others, for example a bottle of Bud or Stella costs £2.80, which is very expensive, however the Cocktail shooters such as Kamikaze, Brain Damage, Traffic Light etc are available for just £1 now that is pretty cheap, but for an extra 50p you get a bottle of Stella as well, now if you can find another bar in Liverpool that is cheaper than...

Review of Baa Bar
...The Baa Bar is an exceptional place. If you're in Liverpool you have got to give it a go. Monday to Wednesday it is predominately students that go here so it will be quiet during the holidays. However, Thursday through the weekend and the place really packs them in. This is the kind of place that everyone will feel at home in as there will already be a large mix of people. Why is it so popular? That's easy - it represents excellent value for money. Cocktail shooters such as Brain Damage, B52, Oil Slick etc are available for £1 or £1.50 with a bottle of Stella Artois. Surely you can't get cheaper anywhere else.
Apart from the main bar downstairs there is a lounge upstairs, a dance floor and a further two bars. There is also an open air courtyard up here as well for those pleasant summer evenings.
All in all, a definite must see!!...

Timmy - He is the baby lamb of the flock. He spends his time sucking his dummy and getting himself into dangerous situations.
The Flock - They are quite content to chew the cud but when Shaun comes up with a plan they are happy to follow.
The Naughty Pigs - They are greedy, cantankerous and mocking and they love disrupting Shaun's Schemes.
Aardman currently have 3 Shaun DVDs on the market at the moment, Shaun the Sheep - Off The Baa, Shaun the Sheep - Shape up the Shaun and Shaun the Sheep - Saturday Night Shaun. A box set containing the first two DVD's is also available. Later in October and November they are set to release another 3 DVD's.

Advantages: Three different floors so a good variety of music Disadvantages: Can take a while to get served when its busy
...BaaBar's nightclub is located directly opposite Canterbury East train station, which is about a 5 minute walk from the City Centre.
BaaBar's is the largest nightclub in Canterbury's and is spread across three floors which each floor having a different type of music playing. Each room also has its own name.
BaaBars
BaaBar's is on the ground floor and is open 7 days a week. In here, they play chart music. On this level there is a large dance floor and plenty of seating areas including tables and chairs, stalls at the bar and comfortable leather sofas. In the middle of the room there is a massive plasma screen TV and most sporting games such as Cricket, Football and Rugby are shown here. There are also 14 smaller TVs which means that everyone can watch the game no matter where they are sitting. There are two small bars on this level...
...***Background***
This is the second book in the series that we have had from the local library. It has text by Richard Powell and the illustrations are from Steve Cox. Richard Powell has provided the writing for lots of other board books especially for toddlers. Steve Cox has also illustrated and designed many lift the flap books but has also worked with well-known authors such as Anne Fine.
***The Content***
It is a noise and a question that starts this book off on the front cover.
"Baa! Who's on the farm?"
Look inside and we find another sound and question.
"Cock-a-doodle-doo! Who's that?"
On the adjoining page is the picture of a clock up on a roof and when this clock flap is pulled down, we can see a cockerel sitting crowing away.
Following on we can find a pig, a cow and a sheepdog, all hiding behind big...
...Beginning with the somewhat questionable premise that sheep, and not the greys, are the alien invaders we have been watching the skies for, you embark on a herding extravaganza unparalleled on any console.
Sheep is an interesting game because of the nature of the gameplay: it involves herding a flock of stupid baas through a series of worlds, each featuring some kind of play on the themes of farmyard, outer space and the fact that these particular sheep are partial to a bit of a bop. The sheep aren’t the easiest creatures to control: you have to master the ‘art of herding’ and watching endless reruns of ‘One Man and His Dog’ and perfecting your Yorkshire accent won’t help you here. The art involves running around your herd, (instead of running at them) to keep them packed together and moving along...

Review of Sheep (PC)
Advantages: A fine bottled beer Disadvantages: The name gives rise to some woeful puns..but I resisted the temptation...almost.
...for many a long year.
He called it, rather appropriately, The Black Sheep Brewery.
I first discovered Black Sheep during a stop en route from London to Edinburgh. We pulled off the A1M at Ferrybridge or some similar suitably placed stop, and found a friendly local hostelry willing and able to serve us a decent meal and an even better pint. Happily, I had just finished my driving stint, and could partake of a reasonable sample of draught Black Sheep, happy to sup it without questioning its provenance. (Well, I was tired, it had been a testing day.)
Some time later I was working as producer for a radio station at the Great Yorkshire Show, and found, by happy coincidence that our wee studio was right beside the biggest beer tent I have EVER seen, proudly flying the flag of the Black Sheep Brewery?yes folks; it was the Black Sheep Baa...

Review of Black Sheep Ale
Advantages: None in particular Disadvantages: Poor customer services
...I got a letter this morning telling me that my BAA Worldcard credit card account was being closed because I don't use it. Actually, I do use it, on a regular, but admittedly infrequent basis. In fact, I used it last week.
I suspect that their decision to close my account was more to do with the fact that I pay the account as soon as I receive it, and therefore they don't make any money from me.
I held the card for several years. I always paid the bill, I was never any trouble to the Bank of Scotland. The letter was extremely blunt in tone and in my opinion a very poor piece of corporate communication.
I will not be using the Bank of Scotland in the future, and would not recommend any of their product to anyone....
Advantages: Good deal for Fequest Fliers, unique discounts Disadvantages: Average interest rate
...The BAA Worldcard Visa is offered in conjunction with BAA, who run many of the UK's largest airports including Heathrow, Gatwick, Stanstead, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, and Southampton. Bank of Scotland is the issuer of the card.
I initially applied for the BAA Worldcard Visa as an upgrade to my existing BAA WorldPoints card, BAA's loyalty card system which rewards purchases made at BAA outlets. The application was made on a form provided in the BAA WorldPoints mailout, and was processed quickly. (Applications can now be made on-line). The card subsequently arrived, with a realistic Credit Limit ( I was a student at the time, so £750 was great for me!) A silver card, with a silver magnetic strip as well, it is attractive and received many admiring glances in shops. I was also impressed that it was one of the first credit cards I saw...
