...I purchased this car seat on the day I picked up my wife and newborn baby from the hospital. As I was in a rush I bought it without looking at the specifications and instructions of installing the seat. Back home I read through the instruction manual and, to my surprise, had the 'Surefix' base fitted within 2 minutes. At the hospital we put our baby into the seat, she looked comfortable but there wasn't much support from the padding to stop her head flopping sideways. As it was sunny outside we decided to put on the sun canopy that comes with it. The fitting was awkward and when pulled over only came out over a few inches. Carrying the seat it was quite heavy with the baby in it. As the baby will get bigger the seat will become heavier. ...This is a great car seat if safety is your main concern. We went to look at this car seat after reading an article about car seat crash tests, where this seat scored the highest for safety. When we tried it out we could see why. The seat clips onto Isofix points in the car. These are fitted into newer cars, and Britax publish a list of approved cars on their website so you can check if yours is suitable. Once the seat was fitted, we could actually move the car just by pulling on the seat, it was so securely attached! The seat also has seatbelt routings, in case you need to swap it to a car without Isofix points, and it seems pretty secure this way as well. In terms of comfort, my baby seems very comfy and will happily fall asleep in the seat. The seat reclines, but the lever for adjusting the recline is behind the seat, and so... Read review

...I can only agree with the previous reviews. This seat is great for parents and babies. It is so easy to use by just putting it at the bottom of the bath where it securely attaches with sucker pads. It makes life so much easier to have one hand free and being able to wash your baby without either endangering your little one by having to let go or risking a bad back. And baby can almost freely splash around without being restricted. My little daughter used to love it but has sadly now outgrown it now as the seat is designed for babies from 0 - 9 months. One thing you really need to look out for though is that your baby is not pushing her-/himself out of the seat by pushing off the bottom of the bath with their feet when they reach a certain size. ...This swim seat is the perfect way to introduce your baby to water. It is perfect for them to go in until theyre confident enough to wear a flotation jacket or arm bands. The seat is soft and easy to place your baby into. It feels very safe and there is no worry of baby climbing out. It is ideal if you just have a baby but also great if you have other children in the water too- my son loves holding it whilst he practices kicking his legs. He also loves pushing my baby daughter round in it, giving him more confidence- he calls it her 'water taxi'! It means you know baby is safe whilst you also wath other children, although you must never leave your baby unattended in it. It is great value for money, an essential baby item.... Read review

...This car seat is suitable for a baby form birth to around 12 months old. The pack comes with a washable seat and headrest and a car seat base as well. We have found that this is very light and easy to use and fits nicely into the car. It is extremely well padded. This comes with a high safety rating and I would say is value for money on the occasions that we use it. The owner before sold this as it made her child squashed after around 6 months and the baby was meant to be an average seized baby. ...I was given this seat by a friend as I have 2 children with a 2 year 9 month age gap! This seat sits in the bath with suckers on teh bottom and the baby lies comfortably in the seat, making hands free bathing easier! I find that by having my son in the seat I can also, bath my daughter at the same time! She can also help bath him by washing him with the sponge! If you are on your own at bath time this seat is very beneficial as it enables you to reach things you have forgotton instead of having to remove baby from the bath and wrap them up! This seat would also help mums and dad's who aren't 100% confident at holding the baby in the bath, as it gives great support. Although they can be quite expensive at around £13 they are definately an essential on your baby buying list! I wish i had had one when my daughter was small... Read review

...We've had this car seat for around 6 months now and I am very pleased with it. After visiting Mamas and Papas the Store Assistant managed to sell us this car seat, as we were originally going for something else we'd seen on the internet which was around £30 cheaper. As she explained, one of the key benefit of this car seat is the fact that there is a handle near the base that can be turned up to 3 times, to make the seat recline backwards - this is an especially key feature for me in rating this seat as my daughter moved out of the 'baby stage' care seat when she was around 10 months. The benefit of this is the fact that if the baby falls asleep in the car, which they tend to do, their head doeasn't flop forward, and instead they are more comfortably asleep.
