...We bought a Stokke Tripp Trapp after strong recommendations from several friends, and if I am honest, because of the way it looks. The Stokke is a lovely chair, in a different league to other high chairs on the market. Its a sleek wooden high chair and comes in a wide range of colours and finishes. We bought from a specialist site called back in action as they have a nice "design" facility on their website which helps you choose colours and accessories. As high chairs go its probably one of the most expensive on the market at around £100 plus £20 for the baby set, but I would rate it good value because of the quality and the fact that it can be used for years. For a baby you really do need to have the "baby set" fitting for the chair. However on a cautionary note we also bought the art stripe cushions because they look so funky...

However, I can highly recommend this sling instead of the more conventional baby carriers available on the high street. The Kari-Me is the only wrap-around sling I have used but I am very happy with it. I chose this sling instead of the Hug-a-Bub wrap-around sling which is very similar because it was cheaper but looked the same and had the same benefits. I bought the old style Kari-Me in purple. ...I bought this when I had my baby as it was apparently the best on the market and I really can't find fault with it at all it has been the most reliable of our baby products and can't rate it highly enough. This car seat is different from others as it is suitable for up to 9 months whilst the majority of others are just up to 6 months. The seat is well padded and has a 'head hugger' so it is safer for newborns. This headhugger can then be removed once your baby is big enough. The straps also can be adjusted once your baby grows so that it is still safe and comfortable. The straps are easy to use- at first they were fiddly but once you have the hang of them then you know what you're doing they're easy! once you have strapped your baby in you then pull on the straps to make them tight so that your baby is safetly in place...
