A beautiful oil for your beautiful baby

Advantages: Soft and gentle

...I was recommended to try this gentle oil aimed towards babies when my daughter was a few weeks old and started to get dry skin. The midwife suggested that I try different oils on her skin after a bath to try to help add some extra moisture. Baby oil for boobs and bums

The packaging of Tesco's baby oil is very simple - a clear bottle approximately 8 inches tall, with special grips along the side to prevent it slipping when you're holding a wriggly baby or if your hands are slippy from the oil. I use this oil on my daughter who suffers from eczema and i also use it a few times a week to help keep my skin 'glowing' The bottle of oil comes in a clear bottle with a pink lid and has written on the front in blue' johnsons baby oil' at the top, in the middle ' clinically proven mildness' and at the bottom it has the johnsons+johnsons logo. Sizes of bottles vary. The bottle that is sitting right in front of me as i write this review is only a small 100ml bottle....this is because i bought johnsons gift set...only because it was £10 from £25. Anyways 200 ml bottles can range from £1.95 and about £2.49 for a 300ml bottle. When using this on my daughter i put one or two drops in her warm bath it really does work and now her eczema is not that bad...not gone fully but really does help....i put it in her...

Everyone's Oil

Advantages: leaves your skin soft, can be used for different things, everyone can use it
Disadvantages: very runny, if the oil is dropped on your clothes you got to wash it!

...Johnson's baby oil has been around for many years and I am sure it was probably used on me as well when I was a baby. It has been manufactured mainly concentrating on babies although it can be used by anyone. I have a one year old little brother and we have always used Johnson Johnson baby oil on him. When it is time to bath him we just let loose a few drops of the baby oil in his bath and we wash him as normal. His skin always looks soft after the bath, to get his skin extra soft we also use it as lotion on his body by applying more onto his skin after the bath. You might think that it's oil so therefore his skin is going to be greasy afterwards, but this wasn't the result, the baby oil just evaporated leaving his skin looking extra soft to the eye and touch. ...I wouldn't have believed it if in the past I was told there was a treatment out there that could help reduce the appearance of scars, stretch marks, and blemished skin until I was introduced to BIO OIL. I have been using this for just over a month now just to see if it made any difference to my scars on my feet and dehydrated skin. (the scars I have go back to when I was 7. I am now 32). It all began about a month ago, I was sent a sample of this Bio Oil after a friend suggested I give it a go. For the size of the envelope that came through my door I thought it was a decent sample, it turned out that it was roughly a 10ml sample (it didn't actually state the amount). baby do i love bio oil....

Advantages: lots of uses, it works.....

How to apply baby oil to a wriggly baby

...I spotted this Lightoil spray in a local chemist on sale for about £3.00 for a 200ml bottle, which for the same size of the normal Johnsons baby oil is about £1. I thought this a little expensive so initially decided against it, despite liking the idea of being able to spray the oil onto my baby's skin. I then found it in a local discount store for £1.50 for the same quantity so decided to purchase some and give it a go. I would say now, after using it for some time that the full price of around £3.00 is well worth it and I would recommend it to any parent. The bottle is the same size as the standard bottle of Johnsons baby oil, 200ml, but this has a spray top instead of a cap with a small hole in. The formulation of the oil is lighter than standard baby oil and looks pretty much just like water in the bottle when you move it around...
