Reviews of baby toilet
a good value for money toilet trainer
Review of Safety 1st Potty by
hunnibunni
Advantages: user friendly
Disadvantages: toilet training seat too small possibly
...I haven't had the toilet trainer for long; about a fortnight or so and have only used the step and toilet seat converter, so i can really only comment on these.
It is really easy to use and dismantle and assemble, so cleaning is not too difficult. The coversion seat howver seems a little on the small side for the gap it has to fit over. The seat ends up right in the middle of the toilet seat, so the child has to haul themselves further back and thus cannot reach the step very easily to get back off the toilet. A lot of care needs to be taken and assistance for them getting on and off is advisable.
It could stand to be made so it is a little closer to the front of the toilet seat.
It has however helped my son progress to using a toilet rather than a potty, as he doesn't disappear down the hole whenever he reaches for the toilet paper.

Toilet training is a breeze.....
Review of Rymax Family Toilet Seat by
Mamashango184
Advantages: One conveniant and hygenic toilet seat for all
Disadvantages: a little pricey but worth the money
...This is a 2 in 1 toilet seat for all the family. Comprises of an adult sized toilet seat and a child size toilet seat and a lid. The childs size seat hides in the lid when not in use, and is secured by a child friendly lock ( child friendly, the wee ones can do it all by themselves!). There is no need for any of that usual clutter that comes with toilet training, after purchasing one of these. Very conveniant for both mum and baby, and very hygenic, only one toilet to clean!!
The toilet goes on like a standard toilet seat and get this, the pack even includes a set of plastic gloves for you to get the old horrible one off!! All fixings are included, and i managed to get mine on as soon as i got it out the box!
I bought mine a few months back from a website, called:
www.baby-needs.co.uk
for £29.99 plus £6 p&P
there is a choice...

Its great when the kids Kandoo it
Review of Pampers KanDoo Toilet Wipes by
meggie1
Advantages: flushable and the kids love to use them
Disadvantages: none
...house.
They are fairly small and can be flushed down the toilet. They are strong so that no fingers can poke holes in them and have a delicate fragrance. They come in a brightly coloured container and refills are available.
I have now begun to use them when wiping my other daughter’s bottom as she is just beginning to use the potty. On the odd occasion I have used a normal baby wipe and flushed it all down the toilet. Oops, this causes a blocked toilet and the water rises to just below the seat, aagh!
I have tried a couple of other types of toilet wipes but none compare to the Kandoo Wipes. They were either too moist or too dry.
I would definitely recommend any mother of young children to buy Kandoo Toilet Wipes.
It’s great when they Kandoo it!...

It is not a bath sweetheart
Review of Family Toilet Seat by
adorable1
Advantages: Not having to change what is there
Disadvantages: baby can fall down unsupervised
...to suggesting to people to use the toilet rather than anything else.
Also toilet roll is cheaper than baby wipes and those little bums use a lot less. I did have to put the toilet roll up high to stop them flushing it away just to get the carboard roll in the middle, but they sang through it lovely. Doo doo do doo do....

'Mummy, I kandoo it!'
Review of Pampers KanDoo Toilet Wipes by
kingfisher111
Advantages: easy to use
Disadvantages: none
...Toilet training is a big step for any child and obviously some take to it quicker than others. Most people start off encouraging their little ones to use a potty before moving on to the big toilet! Once my daughter was trained using the potty she was very happy to use this although for some reason she was quite reluctant to then move on to using the toilet, especially at home.
I had seen Kandoo wipes in quite a number of her small friends' houses and she was always very happy to use the toilet in those places, so I thought it would be worth buying some to use at home and to make a special fuss of putting them in the toilet! Also, we kept saying that big girls use the toilet rather than the potty, so I made a point of saying that these were big girls' wipes as oppose to the 'baby' wipes I was using on her little sister.

Kandoo
Review of Kandoo Baby Wipes by
foxygem
Advantages: You can flush them
Disadvantages: None
...I think they are very useful because it means your child(ren) can learn and go to the toilet by themselves, whilst making sure they wipe any remenants up, so avoiding skid marks.
The Kandoo wipes flush down the toilet, so you don't have to put them in the bin, and so can be used just like normal toilet paper.
The wipes feel very soft on my behind, so there is no discomfort like with the sandpaper you get from the 'Smart Price' toilet paper from Asda.
The wipes are moist, but not dripping wet so that they drip over the floor. The wipes are odourless and so don't leave an iffy smell in the bathroom if you leave the top open for a long time.
Unlike some toilet paper, you can feel it with your derriere, so your child will not go around with a piece sticking out of their knickers (not that I am speaking from experience!).
The wipes can...

Potty Training Tips
Review of Nappy Pants in General by
elvina
Advantages: N/A
Disadvantages: N/A
...I must admit that when our daughter approached 2 years I started to dread the idea of potty training, maybe we should wait till the summer I thought when she could spend loads of time in the garden and we wouldn’t have accidents in the house. Anyway we decided to try introducing the potty and toilet gradually.
At first she didn't like sitting on the potty but she loved sitting on the seat that we got that goes on our toilet seat, I guess it is more like us using the toilet.
She would use that long before she used the potty. What we did was to buy 2 potties and two little toilet seats. We kept one potty downstairs in the lounge and one upstairs and one toilet seat on each toilet.
She obviously comes in the bathroom with us and we discuss wees and poos.
Gradually we started encouraging her to sit on the potty or toilet...

THEY ARE FOR YOUR BUM MUM
Review of Kandoo Baby Wipes by
LICARUS
Advantages: Easy for small hands to grab, come out one at a time, really do clean the necessary area well, biodegrable
Disadvantages: Not too widely stocked at present as they are new
...James my small big 'un is at that age where he wants to do everything for himself. He wants to ‘cook’ his own meals from the contents of the fridge – mainly consisting of yoghurt, jelly, chocolate mini rolls and carrots and he wants to be totally independent in the toilet area too.
Having tried to erm wipe his behind with conventional toilet paper with some success and mess, resulting in shredded bits of paper being stuck where the sun don’t shine, we thought well how about trying some baby wipes. The only problem using baby wipes is I find them very ‘wet’ and they are not supposed to be flushed down the toilet, so we had to have nappy sacks in the toilet for them to be put in. James didn’t like using the wipes very much as he told me it felt like he was still a baby, plus he sometimes would forget to put them in the bag to be thrown...

No more toilet trauma
Review of Babybjorn Toilet Trainer Seat by
lorrainekuk
Advantages: Doesn't move at all
Disadvantages: may have some splashes - see review
...I actually started a search for a decent toilet seat this year after toilet training my son in the summer. I couldn’t find a seat to fit our toilet; I think in all honesty we have a non-standard shaped toilet, more oval than round.
I had bought a Mothercare own brand seat that I think is designed to fit under the actual seat, but because of my odd loo shape it wouldn’t fit, so we had to put it on top of the seat which made it impossible for my son to use alone as it kept skidding off.
My friend had the same seat and I can’t say I was overly impressed with the fit anyway on a ‘normal’ shaped loo.
So my hunt began for a loo seat and after looking around various sites I came across 2 that looked interesting. The Baby Bjorn and the Family trainer seat. The 2nd is designed to replace your existing seat, which I decided in the end was too...

GLEAMING TOILETS WITHOUT ANY ELBOW GREASE
Review of Neutradol Toilet Cleaning Tablets by
Wearsidelass
Advantages: Get a clean toilet overnight
Disadvantages: Be careful if touching the tablets
...Whenever you need to go to the toilet, whether it is at someone else’s house or a public convenience, don’t you always look to see if the toilet bowl is clean and smelling fresh? I know I always do and I tend to judge people by the state of their “smallest room”. The toilet is a breeding ground for germs and if someone’s toilet is in a neglectful state then I always wonder how clean is their kitchen. If their toilet is clean then I am always happy to have a cup of tea and/or food because I know that hygiene is important to that person. I simply cannot stand to see a dirty toilet especially if the bowl is full of limescale which has turned dark brown through obvious toilet actions. Yuk, the mere thought is revolting! There is no need for anyone’s toilet to be either full of limescale or discoloured as there are so many toilet...
