The best toy my baby owns

...My son recieved two of these for christmas and it's had so much use already I'm pretty sure I'm worthy enough to review it. When we opened it up for him I was pretty sure it would be another one of those mediocre baby toys that is a bit of waste of money but how wrong was I? This toy is one of the best I have seen around and I am so impressed with it. The actual toy is a soft, colourful caterpillar who has a big smiley face and a green and white hat on. It's body is divided into six pieces and each one is a different colour and has a different number on it from 1 to 5. The feet of the caterpillar have a couple of creatures on them relating to the different numbers, so for example one blue bird and five red caterpillars. An ideal toy for babies

Advantages: Fun, educational, stimulates all the senses

...! The added bonus is that it repeats quite a few times so I get some washing in! All in all, it wasn't expensive, she's now six months old and getting more from it all the time. I think it will grow with her rather than some toys which they can grow out of too quickly. Its one of the best £15 I have ever spent. One other thing is the cleaning bit, it hasn't been dropped in food or anything as yet, but the usual drool and milk has come out with either baby wipes or a damp cloth and it still looks new. PS The volume isn't too loud either so it isn't one of those toys you'll be saying 'sorry darling, it doesn't work anymore!' Enjoy it, we certainly are....

My daughter has the original white Dolls and the ethnic doll, she liked the first one so much she wanted another one. When i brought the dolls i got them as a package which included The doll dressed in a baby grow, Dummy, potty, Nappy,bottle, bowl and spoon and some food for the doll, yes you can feed them. The dolls are approx 43 cm and you can feed them (Only use Baby born food), You can change them as the food does go through the doll and they wet themselves, they Cry real tears too. She also Squeals a little by squeezing her arm. This doll does not need batteries to work which is ideal. At the time of buying these dolls they cost approx £29.99 but are now a lot cheaper in Argos they sell for £19.99. I have found this...

Advantages: Great humor and non-stop adventure.
Disadvantages: You should not operate heavy machinery while watching this show!

Toy Story: One for the children.

Advantages: Good gameplay, alright graphics, fun for the kids.
Disadvantages: Unmemorable music, will become quickly boring to adults.

Baby toys are always fun.

Advantages: Cute, good for helping babies development.
Disadvantages: Drains batteries like there is no tommorrow.

Magic rattle Pooh is one of the millions of Winnie the pooh toys you can get. It is for babies aged 6 months plus. It sells in the shops for about £25. Being made by fisher price you can find it in most shops but they definatley sell it in Argos, not that I am biased, that just happens to be where my brother got this one from. What is it and what does it do? The toy comes in two parts. There is the bear which is about 9 1/2 inches tall. He is a soft fleecy material and is wearing his customary red top and holding a small rattle. There is also a larger rattle which looks the same as the one Pooh is holding. This is about 7 inches long. to the initial touch...

...I have been very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the toys for the prices that they are sold at in Tesco. They sell a fair range of toys. I find they are very definately for boys or for girls, don't do such a range of unisex toys (in my branch anyway). I have a son, and I have bought quite a lot of his toy cars and cuddlies (when baby) from here. The best value in my eyes is the wooden train sets. Trains/carriages are 99p each (they are the magnetic sort) and you can either buy a basic figure of eight track or a larger set that has trees, people, cows etc in. They have a wide range of accessories like - tunnel, level crosing, ticket office/station (with sounds), platform, turntable etc. The extra's start from about £3 each and are not that expensive. You can also buy extra packs of track, both curved and straight...

A new toy!

Advantages: height adjustable and the musical toy can be used away from the walker
Disadvantages: instructions could be clearer

...I have found the Chicco baby walker really good for my 5 month old son, it has a range of bright colours all over with a tray on top so they can either have food on it or the musical toy that comes with the walker. The musical toy is brilliant, it has a keyboard which makes different noises and all other buttons and things to pull to make noises, my son loves it and is amused for ages. The musical toy can also be used away from the walker, so it was like getting a 2 for 1! It can also be attached to the side of the cot with the additional straps also provided with the walker. The only downside i would say was that the instructions were quite hard to follow for assembly and the seat cover was realy difficult to get on, also the musical toy doesnt actually clip onto the walker it kind of just goes into the tray, but it does seem fairly...

Excellent teething toy and safe

...Last year when my younger son was born I started to look for a natural BPA-free teething ring. I discovered Sophie the Giraffe while doing research on the Internet. It is made from soft natural rubber (phtalate-free) and is hand painted with food grade dyes. I would say that I could not find a teething toy better than Sophie. I wish I knew about it a few years ago when my older son was a baby. So, I started to teach my baby son how to hold it when he was probably two or three months old. Then I showed him how he could put it into his mouth and rub his gums. Funny thing that babies learn very quickly what to put into their mouths :) The Giraffe as itself is an excellent idea for teething because you can chew any part of it whether an ear, a leg or antenna. And you do not have to worry about chemicals. It has a long neck and slim legs...
