Babyliss for (Slightly) More Elegant Hair

Advantages: Reliable, sturdy hair dryer with a good length guarantee
Disadvantages: Mine's about to pass its guarantee

...and came with the usual information and warnings (are there still people who might think it was a good idea to dry their hair while still in the shower?) and an attachment for focusing air direction. Mine was not a part of the accessories set which is currently available on Amazon. The dryer is a classy bronze colour with black cord and metal detailing exactly as shown in the photo. The cord is about 3 metres long; I can't currently find the exact length on the internet and am not about to get out a measuring tape. I've always found the length satisfactory! Three years ago I believe it cost me just over £20 as I would not have paid anymore and was purchased at Boots. A quick search of the internet reveals that you can find the dryer from £10 if you're willing to look around, but is generally listed as closer to £20. Even at £25 the BaByliss...

Babyliss BEliss is almost perfect bliss

...The Babyliss BEliss 2x hairdryer is the next generation of the Babyliss hairdryers that have straightening 'teeth' as an attatchment in order to straighten you hair while it dries. To be clear 'straight' is a relative term. I have had conversations with girls with naturally poker straight hair who were complaining that they wanted to straighten it more. Sat next to them with a head of frizz I couldnt help but find this annoying. And to put into context I do indeed have hair that is neither naturally straight or curly, but somewhere annoyingly inbetween. Its also quite thick and I have slight layers cut in and a shaping around my face to 'take the weight out of it' as the hairdresser puts it. I do believe this technical jargon is what i pay for rather than the cut, but hey... These shorter bits often curl or frizz after i dry my hair...

...I bought my wife a set of these straighteners for her birthday last month - she had been telling me for weeks how good the GHD straighteners are, but as they are so expensive I was under no circumstances to buy a set. I did my homework and compared the specifications of more than a dozen different straighteners. I quickly came to the conclusion that the critical part of the specification to ensure that the user gets 'salon performance' is the temperature and that for the performance to compete with that of the GHD straighteners the temperature had to be in excess of 200 degrees. What drew me to The BaByliss 2099U total freedom straighteners was the added benefit that they are detachable and can be used anywhere. I have never used straighteners myself (not enough hair left these days) but I guessed that it cannot be that easy...

...With summer well on it's way I thought that it would be nice to get that tossled curl look, but unfortunatly I have quite fine flyaway hair so after about an hour or so after doing my hair it looks like a shaggy limp mess. Then I spotted these great Babyliss Curl and Press spiral tongs in my catologue priced at £28.99, and the ad promised to give long lasting defined curls. After ordering and waiting patiently for 3 days the tongs finally arrived, I whipped them straight out of the box, plugged them in and quickly read the instructions. BaByliss You Curl- You're worth it!!!

Advantages: gorgeous curls, smooth shiny and straight hair as well!!

...I would like to review BaByliss You Curl Styler from my point of view (read: point of view of person who has got big problems with making any hairdo, with very heavy looking hair). I'm not going to tell you all technical stuff about it, I'll just simply explain if?and how it works. Since I remember my hair has always looked a bit messy and trust me, I take a lot care of my hair, I spend quiet lot of money each month on all kinds of conditioners, anti frizz serums etc. but that seems not to be enough. I spend also quite lot of time trying to make any hairstyle. I tried all kind of hair stylers, many hair straighteners- few of them just didn't work on my hair at all as they were too thick.
