Babyliss 2075U Review
Review of Babyliss 2075U by
nightsurfer05
Advantages: Easy to use, Variable temperature
Disadvantages: Buttons very easy to change without realising.
...I dont normally by Babyliss so was quite cautious at first, these have been one of the best products i've bought this year.
Bought these hair straighteners due to my Remington straighteners going faulty.
They are easy to use and the gold ceramic plates make my hair smooth, sleek and shiny. The Variable temperature helps and is viewed on the top arm of the straighteners making it easy to maintain the correct setting. The buttons though are easy to catch, changing the temperature when you dont realise your doing it.
One downside to this product is that it doesn't contain a protective bag for it to be stored in, so ended up using my Remington bag.
Overall though an exceptional product and i would definately buy Babyliss again....

Give it a go
Review of Babyliss Beliss by
ckwil
Advantages: Soft shiny hair
Disadvantages: Not as straight as I would have liked
...My hubby bought me this for my birthday, it, took some getting use to but I cracked it.
Babyliss Beliss is a dryer that straightens, smoothes and shines your hair as you dry
it has a straightening attachment with ceramic plates that grip and straighten the hair which make it shiny, and frizz-free.
It has 4 heat/speed settings including a cool shot button and a de-tandling comb,it also comes with a slim concentrator nossel for normal drying.
Took me a few times to get it right but I thought it was ok for day time hair, I would recommend that you buy it if you like that sort of thing, if you don't like it you just take the attachment off and it is a normal hairdryer
Just Don't throw away your straightners!...

babyliss starightners or ceramics
Review of Babyliss 2032 by
meenz
Advantages: steam so doesnt dry out hair
Disadvantages: not very effective in comparison to ceramics
...when i purchased babyliss, they were my first hair straightners, but this was almost 4years ago now. Since this i have attempted many straightners till finally settling upon my futura and ghd's branded straightners.
I would not reccomend these straightners to any prospective buyer with thick hair as they do not have the strength with which to tackle frizz or curls. On the other hand the straightners would not necessarily be effective for the thin hair either as whilst the straightners have the strength, they may not be good for your hair. The metal plates tend to pull at your hair as they straighten, and the steam attractions are not as effective as they seem.
The straightners do however apear to have some small, but mainly insignificant benefits for the user, especially if planning to use on small areas of hair...

Babyliss 2290AU
Review of Babyliss 2290AU DROP by
Laura893
Advantages: Good for different hair types, good value for money
Disadvantages: Can give hair a dry frizzy look
...I first tried these curlers when I went on a night out. I had left mine at home, so I borrowed the Babyliss 2290AU off a friend. I must admit, I do have a bit of a 'love hate' relationship with them.
I have medium length hair which is thick, so I liked the way they have a long ceramic coated barrel and I also liked the defined spiral guide on the barrel, which made curling easier.
The curling tongs looks good, are simple to use and have ten different settings, making it suitable for most hair types (and good for thick hair). It comes with sectioning clips which were useful in managing my hair, and it is mains operated, so no having to worry about replace energy cells.
Although it has some good features and is a good idea, I found there were a few problems with these curlers.
I firstly found that they gave my hair an unwanted...

My essential hair straightener
Review of Babyliss 2032 by
IShouldCoco
Advantages: Gets hair straight but not flat and lifeless, straightness lasts
Disadvantages: the plates can get holes burnt in them very easily
...Sassoon one, but at the same time I was not pleased with The Hole and did not want a repeat of this episode. After much deliberation I decided on the Babyliss again because I didn't want to risk the hassle of one that didn't work, I thought I'd just play safe and stick with one i knew worked.
Well, surprise surprise, the same happened again. After this one dying, I decided to try another one. I bought another Babyliss one, but this one had solid ceramic plates, and no teeth on extra plates. This one was also much thinner.
I was very disappointed with this one, as it did not straighten my hair to the effect of the Babyliss 2032, but I found I had to go over each strand of hair over and over again, and so my hair ended up just looking lank and lifeless.
I needed a good hair straightener again, I needed my old hair back. So yes I went back...

babyliss not for novices
Review of Babyliss 5710 E Beliss by
busymum1
Advantages: all in one machine
Disadvantages: instructions not very well explained
...I was bought the babyliss hair dryer/straightner for christmas.
I'll list the technical stuff first...BaByliss BEliss Dryer Product detail * 1750 watt. * Weight 0.59kg. * Straighten, smooth and shine as you dry. * 9 tourmaline-ceramic coated plates grip and straighten the hair for smooth frizz-free finish. * 4 grip settings for different hair types. * Intelligent system automatically sets dryer to straightening mode when straightening attachment is fitted. * Ionic technology for a frizz free shine. * Heat balancing ceramic technology. * Ultra slim 8mm nozzle. * 4 heat, speed settings including cool shot.
All sounds rather amazing but i think the instructions fall short somewhat!!! I have long hair so i tended to spend 30 mins drying then another 30 mins straightening with ceramic tongs. So hubby thought this would save time as i do have...

My life saver, babyliss beliss
Review of Babyliss 5710 E Beliss by
xxkeileighxx
Advantages: Excellent for all kinds of hair with adjustments to suit
Disadvantages: May get confusing finding correct setting
...The new Babyliss Beliss product designed to straighten, smooth and shine as you dry has helped me massively with my unruly, curly and frizzy hair. Tourmaline-Ceramic plates grip and straighten the hair for a silky, shiny finish that makes straightening easy and less of an effort.
I often have to get up earlier to make time to sort out my hair but with this new product i can do my hair with ease and style in 5 minutes.
Whats best is you don't have to have a specific hair type, this product can help various hair types with its 4 straightening settings. it has an intelligent system that makes sure the device changes to straightening mode when the necessary nozzle is fitted and even has a cooling button incase it gets too hot! amazing.
This 1750 W product uses ionic technology to help produce a shine and healthy look for your hair...

Affordable poker straight hair
Review of Babyliss Professional Straightening Iron by
Loz6DN
Advantages: Long Swivel Cord
Disadvantages: May stain with cheap hair dye
...it's the usual catch-22, you have straight hair- you want curls, you have waves- you want it to be straight. whenever i put effort into transforming my waves/curls/kinks i want to get it as straight and sleek as possible. the only place that has ever been able to achieve this to perfection was at the hair dressers where she could take her time to blow dry to perfection.
at first i thought: "what about relaxer cream," but i later found out that this was merely to calm tight curls and frizz, not for the likes of my hair.
then a new innovation came out: ceramic hair straighteners. and in the best salons you were able to have treatment from the £100 straighteners such as ghd. so that was the solution: ghd ceramic plates?..one problem, did i really want to fork out nearly £100?
then for my 16 birthday i was given the babyliss...

BABYLISS 2075U HAIR STRAIGHTENERS
Review of Babyliss 2075U by
lotty69
Advantages: Simple to use. Fast to heat up. Long cord. Lasting finish. 5yr guarentee
Disadvantages: not cordless
...I purchased these Baybyliss 2075U Ceramic hair straighteners about a month ago from eBay. With p & p they cost £31.00, which I thought was a bargain. (They were new in box).
These straighteners are very easy to use. A button to turn then on/off and a dial ranging from 1-10. 1 being 180 degrees, ideal for fine hair and 10 being a whopping 230 degrees, for thick, curly hair. They have solid ceramic plates so no worries of there being any peeling away, which can happen on ceramic coated straighteners. Therefore, they maintain an even temperature, even after years of usage.
I have very wavy hair, curly in some parts and these straighteners glide through my hair with ease leaving it poker straight, on a number 10 heat setting. They heat up in about 30seconds. I section my hair into thin sections using the clips that came...

Babyliss 230 Straighteneres reviewed by a guy!!
Review of babyliss pro 230, hair straightener by
jamesofdeath
Advantages: High temperature, poker straight hair, flexible cable
Disadvantages: none yet
...I bought these straighteners on the recommendation of my girlfriend as, because my hair is thick, I use straighteners to style it. Before I had these we used remington ones and another pair, both advertised as ceramic plates but turns out they were only ceramic plated! Bought these for £60 from Boots about 5 months ago, maybe a bit longer and have never had a problem at all. They heat up in under 30 seconds to a temperature higher than ghd's! I went against every ones recommendation of buying ghd's as I heard from horror stories and yet when I went to the hair dressers, she actually thought I was using ghd's as my hair was so straight. Some straighteners only straighten the surface texture of your hair so when you step outside and the moisture hits your hair, your hair fluffs up again or goes curly, however I was out in the rain...
