...I got this for my partner because, quite frankly, I was sick of him stealing the scissors and my razors at home! This clipper is a good product and I would always reccomend something from the babyliss range - call me a sucker for brands but I have never had a problem with the make when buying products before. The overall appearance isn't the typical appearance to clippers, at least not ones I've seen before but just like it says on the tin my partner found them easy to use and hold. Then I spotted these great Babyliss Curl and Press spiral tongs in my catologue priced at £28.99, and the ad promised to give long lasting defined curls. ...and came with the usual information and warnings (are there still people who might think it was a good idea to dry their hair while still in the shower?) and an attachment for focusing air direction. Mine was not a part of the accessories set which is currently available on Amazon. The dryer is a classy bronze colour with black cord and metal detailing exactly as shown in the photo. The cord is about 3 metres long; I can't currently find the exact length on the internet and am not about to get out a measuring tape. I've always found the length satisfactory! Three years ago I believe it cost me just over £20 as I would not have paid anymore and was purchased at Boots. Babyliss Hair Straightners

Advantages: Great for a novice like me!

...These are the first hair straightners that I have bought as previously I had thought them too expensive and had no idea how to use them properly. I got mine in a package with a hair dryer and beauty set at a fantastic price and thought I'll use the hair dryer if nothing else! To be honest I have only used the slim plates, it comes with crimping plates and wide plates, but have found it so easy to use, I'm hopeless at getting my hair to look the same as when my hairdresser has done it but I come pretty close with these! The power cord it really long to give you plenty of space and does not tangle easily and there is a non-slip/soft grip type material on the outside of the barrel so you can feel where your hair is supposed to go. It's really nice have an on and an off switch so you can get them ready for use but not waste power...

I always used to have to buy the really expensive hair straighterners, as they were the only ones which could deal with my hair. Up until a month ago, I had some straighteners which were made by Morphy Richards. They cost me £79 and reached 200 degrees celsius. However, these broke after having them for 1 year, and I was sick of buying straightner which we're so expensive and had to be replaced so quickly. I found these straighteners in ASDA for £29.99 in the sale and thought i'd give them a go (they normally retail at £39.99). Great for short thin hair

...I bought these recently as I cannot live without my older larger plated GHD's and thought that these would be a handy alternative. They do heat in under 3 seconds and have the same excellent ceramic plates as the larger version, however I found them very time consuming. I have very thick hair about shoulder length and unlike their larger cousins they were unable to straighten as effectively . On saying that they were brilliant on my fringe. I would recommend these to anyone with shorter or thin hair. A fashion conscientious male friend of mine used these and loved them and were perfect for his short hair. I would recommend using the straightening oil with these as they are very hot and I did find a few burnt strands of hair ....
