Babyliss 2075U Review
Review of Babyliss 2075U by
nightsurfer05
Advantages: Easy to use, Variable temperature
Disadvantages: Buttons very easy to change without realising.
...I dont normally by Babyliss so was quite cautious at first, these have been one of the best products i've bought this year.
Bought these hair straighteners due to my Remington straighteners going faulty.
They are easy to use and the gold ceramic plates make my hair smooth, sleek and shiny. The Variable temperature helps and is viewed on the top arm of the straighteners making it easy to maintain the correct setting. The buttons though are easy to catch, changing the temperature when you dont realise your doing it.
One downside to this product is that it doesn't contain a protective bag for it to be stored in, so ended up using my Remington bag.
Overall though an exceptional product and i would definately buy Babyliss again....

A happy Teenager With Straight Hair =)
Review of babyliss pro 230, hair straightener by
Lea07x
Advantages: Great heat temperature and you get freebies with the box =D
Disadvantages: None
...These straightenners are excellent i would recommend them to anyone as you can change the temperature to suit your hair i.e; Thick or thin.
I have Really Thick Frizzy Hair and any other straightners would straighten my hair , i would go out side and Boom!! My hair Would frizz up again, i was considering gettin the nicky clarke kinder4hair straightners but unfortunaly they were sold out so i got the babyliss pro 230 straightners. i think it must have been a sign because now my hair is straight even when i go outside Woo!
the babyliss' top temperature is 230C which gives your hair an instant shine with out any hair products.
They only take 30 seconds to heat up which is excellent if your in a rush for Work,School,A Date ,etc
They also keep their heat all the way throught straightening your hair.
There is 10 temperature settings from...

Not Worth It.
Review of Babyliss 2581U by
Indie_Star
Advantages: Portable, Compact.
Disadvantages: No Different Temperture, Too expensive to run.
...Even though BaByliss is one of the top hair products, this product really isn't worth buying. Although it is portable and compact but it's really not useful for straightening your hair.
There is no different temperature settings, which isn't very useful as the set temperature really isn't that hot!
The BaByliss 2581U is powered by a Gas cartridge, the cartridges cost around £5 for two, which isn't that cheap as they run out very quickly. You also have to push down very hard on the plates for it to take effect, but then you run the risk of burning yourself. So in experience these straigteners really aren't worth buying, i reccommend you try some remingtons straighteners instead, they might be a little more expensive but worth it!...

Hair Straighteners
Review of Babyliss Straight and Shine Steam Straightener by
sparkly_cinderella
Advantages: Lovely shiney straight hair!
Disadvantages: The straighteners themselves get VERY hot so you have to be careful
...I bought some hair straighteners from Boots a few weeks ago, they were Babyliss Straight & shine ones, where you add water to produce steam, this enables you to increase the straightness of your hair.
Anyway, they cost about £25 and they are BRILLIANT!-The best things I have ever discovered in my life!
They are perfect for anyone with problem hair, from wavy to outrageously curly, they calm all bad hair days.
For extra shine, try using some hair serum, I use Nicky Clarke aroma therapy straightening gloss, applied to wet hair after combing through.
A must for all you like minded wavy haired gurlies (or boys for that matter!)
GO AND BUY SOME NOW! you won't regret it!...

babyliss starightners or ceramics
Review of Babyliss 2032 by
meenz
Advantages: steam so doesnt dry out hair
Disadvantages: not very effective in comparison to ceramics
...when i purchased babyliss, they were my first hair straightners, but this was almost 4years ago now. Since this i have attempted many straightners till finally settling upon my futura and ghd's branded straightners.
I would not reccomend these straightners to any prospective buyer with thick hair as they do not have the strength with which to tackle frizz or curls. On the other hand the straightners would not necessarily be effective for the thin hair either as whilst the straightners have the strength, they may not be good for your hair. The metal plates tend to pull at your hair as they straighten, and the steam attractions are not as effective as they seem.
The straightners do however apear to have some small, but mainly insignificant benefits for the user, especially if planning to use on small areas of hair...

-A little introduction about Babyliss?
Babyliss has been grooming everyone for over 40 years. Babyliss was established in the early 1960's in Paris; and was part of the 'swinging sixties' as a leading trend pioneer. When the sixties got swinging so did Babyliss. They were part of the whole new trend fad. Vanity products went through the roof in sales and the publics demand was relentless; a perfect time for the new image revolution to take fold and start shaping history and style. Fashions were being introduced at a whim, some were kept some were disregarded.
The versatile nature of Babyliss extended product ranges regulary and were always known as the pioneers of hair products. The 1980's stepped up with more exciting products. Allowing Babyliss to branch out globally...

Want Straight Hair then Try This
Review of Babyliss Straight and Shine Steam Straightener by
ckr85
Advantages: Works keeps hair straight
Disadvantages: None
...My hair used to be straight and sleek and then I had it cut and it is curly. I have tried every product for striaghtening hair and none seem to work. So I decided to try the Babyliss Straightner and I haven't look back since.
It is simple to use and uses steam. This is healthy for you hair as it restores some of the moisture rather than stripping it unlike the iron plates straighteners. My hair is thick but it still works. You may have to do it it layers but it does work and stays straight until next wash. This product is for any one who wants to try a product to striaghten their hair that actually works....

Babyliss 2290AU
Review of Babyliss 2290AU DROP by
Laura893
Advantages: Good for different hair types, good value for money
Disadvantages: Can give hair a dry frizzy look
...I first tried these curlers when I went on a night out. I had left mine at home, so I borrowed the Babyliss 2290AU off a friend. I must admit, I do have a bit of a 'love hate' relationship with them.
I have medium length hair which is thick, so I liked the way they have a long ceramic coated barrel and I also liked the defined spiral guide on the barrel, which made curling easier.
The curling tongs looks good, are simple to use and have ten different settings, making it suitable for most hair types (and good for thick hair). It comes with sectioning clips which were useful in managing my hair, and it is mains operated, so no having to worry about replace energy cells.
Although it has some good features and is a good idea, I found there were a few problems with these curlers.
I firstly found that they gave my hair an unwanted...

My life saver, babyliss beliss
Review of Babyliss 5710 E Beliss by
xxkeileighxx
Advantages: Excellent for all kinds of hair with adjustments to suit
Disadvantages: May get confusing finding correct setting
...The new Babyliss Beliss product designed to straighten, smooth and shine as you dry has helped me massively with my unruly, curly and frizzy hair. Tourmaline-Ceramic plates grip and straighten the hair for a silky, shiny finish that makes straightening easy and less of an effort.
I often have to get up earlier to make time to sort out my hair but with this new product i can do my hair with ease and style in 5 minutes.
Whats best is you don't have to have a specific hair type, this product can help various hair types with its 4 straightening settings. it has an intelligent system that makes sure the device changes to straightening mode when the necessary nozzle is fitted and even has a cooling button incase it gets too hot! amazing.
This 1750 W product uses ionic technology to help produce a shine and healthy look for your hair...

- A little snippet about Babyliss?
Babyliss is grooming company that has groomed men and women for over 40 years. Babyliss was established in 1960 originally in Paris; and helped stimulate the 'swinging sixties. The growth originally was slow but quickened up as the 'new sexual revolution' took hold of Western culture. During this time, vanity was in the air and so was new hair design concepts; big style influences were used in mass media for the first time 'vanity products went through the roof' a perfect climate for a major brand to step forward, and so it was Babyliss who was the brand people flocked...
