...I dont normally by Babyliss so was quite cautious at first, these have been one of the best products i've bought this year. Bought these hair straighteners due to my Remington straighteners going faulty. They are easy to use and the gold ceramic plates make my hair smooth, sleek and shiny. The Variable temperature helps and is viewed on the top arm of the straighteners making it easy to maintain the correct setting. The buttons though are easy to catch, changing the temperature when you dont realise your doing it. One downside to this product is that it doesn't contain a protective bag for it to be stored in, so ended up using my Remington bag. Overall though an exceptional product and i would definately buy Babyliss again.... Read review

...I bought some hair straighteners from Boots a few weeks ago, they were Babyliss Straight & shine ones, where you add water to produce steam, this enables you to increase the straightness of your hair. Anyway, they cost about £25 and they are BRILLIANT!-The best things I have ever discovered in my life! They are perfect for anyone with problem hair, from wavy to outrageously curly, they calm all bad hair days. For extra shine, try using some hair serum, I use Nicky Clarke aroma therapy straightening gloss, applied to wet hair after combing through. Advantages: Cheap and very good at their job

...I recently bought these hair straighteners at half price (£24.49) and consider it a bargain. The straighteners are extremely hot and even though I have ridiculously thick hair my hair straightens in one stroke. The only issue I have now is that my hair is becoming slightly damaged but I'm sure that it is nothing I can't prevent with a bit of heat protect spray. The straighteners are very easy to use although the heat proof material on them does still get too hot to hold but as it is still cool enough to touch there is no danger. The heat proof mat provided with the straighteners is a godsend - no more singed surfaces! It also rolls up to form a convenient carry pack preventing your straighteners from damage and meaning you can pack them even when they are still hot.... Read review

...These straightenners are excellent i would recommend them to anyone as you can change the temperature to suit your hair i.e; Thick or thin. I have Really Thick Frizzy Hair and any other straightners would straighten my hair , i would go out side and Boom!! My hair Would frizz up again, i was considering gettin the nicky clarke kinder4hair straightners but unfortunaly they were sold out so i got the babyliss pro 230 straightners. i think it must have been a sign because now my hair is straight even when i go outside Woo! the babyliss' top temperature is 230C which gives your hair an instant shine with out any hair products. ...Even though BaByliss is one of the top hair products, this product really isn't worth buying. Although it is portable and compact but it's really not useful for straightening your hair. There is no different temperature settings, which isn't very useful as the set temperature really isn't that hot! The BaByliss 2581U is powered by a Gas cartridge, the cartridges cost around £5 for two, which isn't that cheap as they run out very quickly. You also have to push down very hard on the plates for it to take effect, but then you run the risk of burning yourself. So in experience these straigteners really aren't worth buying, i reccommend you try some remingtons straighteners instead, they might be a little more expensive but worth it!... Read review

...My hair type is one that I would describe as: desperately needs a hair straightener. Before the age of hair straighteners, I had fierce battles with my hair, and the hair usually won. I used to resort to wearing my hair half up half down. When the first hair straighteners came out, I was eager to get one. The first one I bought was a Vidal Sassoon one, which I can only say was RUBBISH and did not sort my hair out one bit. I was utterly disappointed with my experience with this one as I had had high hopes, so I didn't get another one for a while, until I got a bit older and decided to give another one a go. The next one I bought was this Babyliss 2032. ...My hubby bought me this for my birthday, it, took some getting use to but I cracked it. Babyliss Beliss is a dryer that straightens, smoothes and shines your hair as you dry it has a straightening attachment with ceramic plates that grip and straighten the hair which make it shiny,and frizz-free. It has 4 heat/speed settings including a cool shot button and a de-tandling comb,it also comes with a slim concentrator nossel for normal drying. Took me a few times to get it right but I thought it was ok for day time hair, I would recommend that you buy it if you like that sort of thing, if you don't like it you just take the attachment off and it is a normal hairdryer Just Don't throw away your straightners!... ...My hair used to be straight and sleek and then I had it cut and it is curly. I have tried every product for striaghtening hair and none seem to work. So I decided to try the Babyliss Straightner and I haven't look back since. It is simple to use and uses steam. This is healthy for you hair as it restores some of the moisture rather than stripping it unlike the iron plates straighteners. My hair is thick but it still works. You may have to do it it layers but it does work and stays straight until next wash. This product is for any one who wants to try a product to striaghten their hair that actually works.... Once you attach the straightener attachment to the dryer the indicator light turns blue and the dryer automatically sets to straightening mode. The straightening attachment has three functions : The de-tangling comb prepares your hair for straightening. The tourmaline ceramic plates straighten hair. Shine pads for a high shine finish. On the side of the straightener attachment is the tension control (start at 1 and gradually increase the tension until it is best for you). To turn the attachment press the two buttons (which are on either side of the dryer) then without lifting turn the attachment to the position you require. ********* Does it work ******* Although I haven't fully got the hang of using it my hair is definately less frizzy.
