Even I can use it!
Review of Remington AS7020CW FULL Volume by
SusanLesley
Advantages: Easy to use, efficient, cheap
Disadvantages: None
...manufacturer’s guarantee.
It is a mains powered hot air styler, with a power of 1000 watts which isn’t the most powerful hair dryer on the market by a long way but I believe that it is powerful enough for the way that this particular machine works. It comes complete with a 13 amp plug fitted as standard.
The three attachments are as follows:
A ceramic and Teflon coated extra large thermal smoothing brush
A ceramic and Teflon coated slim curling brush
A small nozzle called a concentrator
Apparently the Teflon coating is exclusive to Remington and stops product build up on the brushes and helps them to glide easily through the hair.
The styler is smart and classy in black and grey.
The styler comes with three metres of cable which is plenty long enough to plug in at the side of our bedroom and still be able to stand in front of the mirror...

Ionic Shine to make you smile!!
Review of Vidal Sassoon VS784 by
kerryzach
Advantages: leaves hair shiny and smooth
Disadvantages: quite big to handle!
...Vidal Sassoon 784 Hair Hydration Ionic Styler
My boyfriend bought me the Vidal Sassoon Hydration Styler for christmas, just gone. I was a bit shocked when I opened the parcel because it just looked like a hot air brush, and initially I was not impressed. When I actually took the time to inspect the present, I realised that there was more to this product than met the eye!! The styler comes in a sphereical plastic box of clear plastic. It took a while to get into the box but with the use of a stanley knife, the box was torn apart and gone forever!!! Any illustration or buttons on the box or device are coloured a luxurious purple.
The styler is exactly as illustrated. I actually obtained the picture fromt he Vidal Sassoon website. It is silver grey and made of plastic. It does seem quite flimsy but I have dropped it on numerous...

Quick and easy hair styler
Review of Babyliss Beliss Styler by
Sare200175
Advantages: Gives hair healthy shine
Disadvantages: none
...I purchased this styler some months ago, but after years of struggling to style my hair and purchasing many hair styling gadgets that were unsuccesful, I didn't really hold out much hope for it.
It is brilliant. Its quick, easy and makes my hair look healthy and shiny. It took a few goes to get the hang, but I couldn't be without it now. You basically just brush your damp hair in the direction and style that you desire until completely dry and finish with the cooling mode for shine! It doesn't dry you hair like straightening does and it isn't tricky and time consuming like blow drying. I have very limp, lifeless hair, but I don't even find I have to use hair products to help hold the style.
Since using this styler, for the first time in my life, I can actually style my hair to look like I've just been to the hairdressers!...

easy to use portable styler
Review of Braun C20 by
lebel
Advantages: portable, heats up in a couple of minutes
Disadvantages: need to buy energy cells, dries hair
...I have had one of these stylers for about 6 months and at first I used it every day to straighten an unruly fringe. Now I Only use it a couple of times a week, as I find it does dry out my hair if I use it all the time.
Not only that, but the more you use it, obviously the more gas energy cells you have to buy...
It heats up releatively quickly and gets pretty hot (many say that gas stylers do not get as hot as electric stylers, but it gets hot enough for my thick hair).
A small red dot goes dark red when the styler is ready to use. This leads to another small disadvantage, as there is no "on" light, I have twice now forgetten to switch it off, leading to the styler being left on all day and the gas running out!
Having said that, it is easy to use and does my hair reallt quickly. It only cost £16 from boots and I would buy...

Be your own salon styler
Review of Babyliss 6696 by
pinkblackhev
Advantages: Lightweight, 3 heat settings, Free Styling Brush, Cold option
Disadvantages: Not the cheapest on the market
...I've gone through many hairdryers. I used to buy very cheap ones that broke after not long, and that would dry my hair but then I'd have to figure out how to style my hair afterwards because they usually left my hair frizzy and wild. So i decided to make an investment into a more expensive hairdryer and it was well worth the money. The Babyliss 6696 is an expert hairdryer for professional use if desired. It really does make me feel like a professional hairdresser because of its size an style. It is a large hairdryer but it's surprisingly lightweight and easy to use. This one has been professionally selected by Patrick Cameron, a professional hairdresser. Knowing that this is a product that professionals use gives you the confidence to experiment and create your own styles and looks. It is a pleasure using this hairdryer. I have lots...

Perfect Curls from Toni & Guy
Review of Toni And Guy 3080560 by
charlotte_thomas
Advantages: Interchangable attatchments
Disadvantages: one temperature setting
...to guide you and all three attatchments have a metal fold down stand that prevents the styler from burning surfaces.
The instruction manuel is easy to understand and informative with some helpful styling tips included. The cable from the handle to the plug is 1.5 metres.
I use this styler usually two or three times a month for curling my hair and usually use the wavy and tight curl attatchments. The hot brush attatchment is good for correcting any mishaps or those awkward bits that take a while to get under control. Having quite unruly hair I have always found this styler gives a good result and each of the interchangable attatchments do produce the intended type of curl or wave.
The disadvantages of this product are that it takes around 5-7 minutes to heat up which compared to many other stylers on the market is quite a while to wait...
