...I am a 28 year old, who has suffered from a bad back for a few years. I also am a firm believer that you should not use painkillers unless you really need to. I feel that the body builds up a kind of immunity to them, similar to anti-biotics (i have no scientific proof for this, and am not a doctor, so take this as you will.). ...I get back ache occasionally from leaning over the computer too much. While the obvious answer would be to stop doing it, that isn't always possible. I usually use Ibulieve gel, which works well, but knew I couldnt keep pausing at work to apply it, so invested £3.49 for a pack of 2 Nurofen heat patches. The box says they are specifically designed for back pain and contain Nurofen, I didn't think I could go far wrong. Opening the box revealed two separately sealed heat patches, which were bigger than I had imagined they would be.
