...I bought this for my grandma who is getting old and needed something lightand easy to use. I bought this from an ebay shop that specialises in these. I got it very cheaply. Its great because its bagless. I thought only dyson did that!!! Well its pretty similar really , easy to empy and clean. The suction is pretty good not as good as my dyson but they are amazing. However its better than your average vaccuum, The design is pretty cute and its easy to store, it takes up little room. Its not noisy, pretty quiet really. Swan 1800 watt bagless upright vacuum cleaner.

Advantages: powerful, robust,
Disadvantages: tacky onboard tools, difficult to clean top filter,scratches wood flooring.

...Purchased this from catalogue as a replacement for my 6 yr old Dyson. Overall the hoover is fairly robust. The extra wide slim brush bar is handy especially for getting under edges of furniture. It does its job. I found the powercord to be shorter than expected and have to change plug sockets fom room to room. Its awkward to clean out the filter especially the top one due to not been able to get your hand in to grab the leftover fluff etc which is remaining after emptying and tends to blog up your filter quickly during use, causing loss of suction. This needs to be checked often especially if you have a moulting dog, causing it to build up rapidly. The onboard tools are handy though slightly small and tacky. The turbine brush which clips into the handle is also robust and very powerful,it can be used by attaching onto the hose to clean...

Hoover Dustmanager Bagless Upright Cleaner.

Advantages: Extra long stair hose.
Disadvantages: Short flex.

...This hoover looks great but Im a little disappointed with it. The flex is shorter than an old hoover model that broke down after 11yrs of service. The handle seems shorter. Also you can't feel the suction from the front of the cleaner, I know im comparing it with the old model but I can't help it. The tools are in an inconvenient place at the back of the hoover because it make's it difficult to reattach the hose after stair cleaning. ( They get in the way). The bagless cassette you empty is small and for a larger house needs emptying at least twice. I have a black lab and we get alot of dog hair's i found it annoying not only emptying the cassette but also the pull out filter as it got clogged up with dog hair's , I accidently sucked up a grape and found that in the filter and not in the cassette , so watch you don't hoover up...

...I have had this cleaner now over 9 months and now having just had to empty it yet again, it has moved me to comment!! The cleaner itself works fine, it has a business like head and apparent flexibility. However the size of the head prevents getting into awkward corners and tight spaces, it could easily be more compact. That said the suction power and head configuration is effective in picking up household dust and dirt. It is a little lumbering to trail behind you, preferring straight lines to the reality of dodging around furniture. However its the bagless aspect which is most frustrating. Whilst a dirt trap and a filter may seem appealing (and even spare filters are supplied with the cleaner), the removal and clean up of same is a work up in itself. The pictures show just rinsing said filter under the tap. In your dreams...

...I bought a wonderful cleaner. A vaporetto steam cleaner. This little machine is a marvel it cleans anything. I boughjt it originally to clean my carpets. It cleans them without leaving any ,marks or getting them wet. It cleans, sterilises and deodorises anything. IHighly reccomend it if you have animals, children, a kitchen or a bathroom. It is the easiest way to defrost your freezer, clean a greasy cooker, diinfect the toilet,or worktops, unblock sinks, and clean anywere without nasty chemicals.I have used it to clean the carpets after spilling coffee, no stains left.
