...I have had this cleaner now over 9 months and now having just had to empty it yet again, it has moved me to comment!! The cleaner itself works fine, it has a business like head and apparent flexibility. However the size of the head prevents getting into awkward corners and tight spaces, it could easily be more compact. That said the suction power and head configuration is effective in picking up household dust and dirt. It is a little lumbering to trail behind you, preferring straight lines to the reality of dodging around furniture. However its the bagless aspect which is most frustrating. Whilst a dirt trap and a filter may seem appealing (and even spare filters are supplied with the cleaner), the removal and clean up of same is a work up in itself. Advantages: Bagless,light and not a lot more.
Disadvantages: Poor quality,hard to use and clean.

...at having received a vacuum cleaner for Christmas I had a good look at it and it didn?t seem too bad. It looked neat and compact and it didn?t need bags, which was good. The instruction leaflet was terrible, in that way that badly translated instructions always are - quite amusing but not very helpful. I don?t really like cylinder cleaners but this one was light (it only weighs 5.5 kgs) and not too bulky. Sanyo is also a well-known name synonymous with quality. (A quick check in the Argos catalogue revealed that this unit costs £69.99 which is one of the highest priced cylinder bagless vacuums ? Disadvantages: not as good as dyson but still excellent

...I bought this for my grandma who is getting old and needed something lightand easy to use. I bought this from an ebay shop that specialises in these. I got it very cheaply. Its great because its bagless. I thought only dyson did that!!! Well its pretty similar really , easy to empy and clean. The suction is pretty good not as good as my dyson but they are amazing. However its better than your average vaccuum, The design is pretty cute and its easy to store, it takes up little room. Its not noisy, pretty quiet really. ...this is a great hoover,its designed with pets in mind as it is great at getting all the hair up off floors of all types. A sucker for buying it

Advantages: Powerful suction, no loss of suction, no bags to buy

...I needed a new vacuum cleaner. Having seen the dyson adverts, I knew I had to buy a bagless one (no loss of suction etc), so I went for this one. PRICE The cleaner was quite a lot cheaper than the dyson cleaner, and I hence thought I'd got a bargain. The price for mine was £120 at John Lewis as opposed to £200 for a dyson. I've found out since then to 'beware of imitations'. CLEANING The cleaning power is remarkable (mind you my old one was my parents old one, which was about 25 years old). It did surprise me how much dirt it picked up and the floor looked noticably cleaner after using it. It has a handy adjuster on it to move between different 'shag piles'. I always keep mine on the lowest setting as it seems to give the best clean all round. Apparently, the HEPA filters mean that 'the air is cleaner than the air in the room...

Bosch BX3 Power Bagless Cylinder Vacuum Cleaner

Advantages: This product makes you appreciate the others!
Disadvantages: Not fit for purpose, very poor design, complicated mechanisms.

...This was perhaps the worst purchase we have ever made; indeed, so bad it was returned after the first day. Swearing by a Dyson upright for the main vacuuming tasks, we had used a bottom range cylinder vacuum to clean the car and stair carpets until it died. We couldn?t warrant the hefty price tag on a Dyson cylinder for such menial tasks, and so chose the ?Bosch BX3 Power? on account that it was on offer at £50 quid less, and promised 2500w of power ? Leagues ahead of other models in the same price range. What a disastrous design! How this piece of equipment ? especially with today?s advances in technology - passed for release to the consumer is beyond us! Firstly, the mechanisms (3 different buttons!) to get to the filters and dust container are extremely fiddly and temperamental; indeed, press the wrong at the wrong time...

...little thing too! And it has onboard storage for all the little attachments and adaptors, very useful as you're moving about the house with it. In terms of actual cleaning, I love it! It gets the carpets thoroughly cleaned. There is an attachment to get the dust, and use the HEPA filter, and one that lifts out fibres and dirt caught in the carpet, and I use both every time I clean, which leaves the air in the flat very friendly on the nose. And every time you use it, you can clean out the cylinder immediately, so there isn't any dust collecting in the machine, waiting to make you sneeze the next time you move the machine around, or to blow out of the machine (a problem I've had with other vacuum cleaners).
