...I bought these for my Jack Russell, Dexter yesterday in Pets At Home. He normally doesn't get treats as standard as he has them for training purposes but as he'd just had the snip on Monday; I thought I'd treat him as he was feeling sorry for himself. I had hoped to get him a soft toy initially but they were £7, so these bones which were displayed at the till point seemed like a slightly better option at £1.99 As some Ciao members may have read from my Vitalin review, my dog has a sensitive stomach and these were being promoted as being 100% natural ingredients that are human quality, so this got a tick in my book. Your Own Bakery

Advantages: Excellent results, cheap, little to do, has timer so you can have a fresh 1.5kg loaf in the morning!
Disadvantages: A little on the heavy side and the jug that comes free is as useful as an ashtray on a motorbike!

...A newish product to hit the electrical stores is the Bread Maker. A contraption where you can insert all the ingredients, and enjoy a loaf of freshly baked bread in your own home. You cannot beat the taste and smell of fresh baked bread, and while you can savour the aroma whilst walking through your local supermarket, many small family bakeries are a thing of the past. I purchased the Cookworks Bread Maker, model B6989, from Argos just before Christmas. It was a gift for my mum. She likes fresh bread and usually buys a crusty loaf once a week from her supermarket. ...built into the Estuary so that it used the water from the tide! The pitch and put is still in use but always looks so empty and things like the boating like remain dried up and so sorry looking. The good thing is though that this cafe is still thriving and the little row of shops it sits next to also are too. This cafe was built in 1897 and has always been a cafe and in 1984 the family that own it now bought the cafe and the shop next door which they turned into a bakery which is basically an addition to the cafe really. Awards This cafe has won awards from the tea guild for excellence (6 in total!), top tea place from the tea guild in 2006 and 2007 as well as other awards too. It's nice to eat and drink in a place which has put enough effort into making it an enjoyable experience that awards have been won for it...

...of toast, definitely one for someone with a big appetite for breakfast! My husband and I ended up sharing it and there was still some left! The cakes are lovely and so fresh. They have amazing apple pie and lemon meringue! The cakes are set out on a display stand and I always find it impossible to chose which one I want as they are all so very yummy looking and i know from experience- yummy tasting too! All food has always been to a high standard as far as I can remember. Not once have I had to send anything back and it is always mouth-wateringly tasty. Extras The cafe is connected to a bakery which it makes all the food for. This bakery sells amazing breads, cakes, ready meals and various other items all served by people in traditional dress. I often go from the cafe straight to the bakery to stock up on more yummy cakes...

I can't help but enlighten those who haven't visited though, and to recommend going in to one of the many shops around. Originally set up as a fair-trade café within an old church hall, the café moved to its Church Square location in Lenton, just outside the centre of Nottingham, in Autumn 2004.
