Really BIG lava lamp.

Advantages: Huge. Soothing. Good value.
Disadvantages: Takes forever to heat up.

Advantages: Adequate translation from the TV show. Good game to fill in a few minutes though.
Disadvantages: Just too repetitive, not enough gameplay

...Deal or No Deal : The Banker is Back is a game for the Nintendo DS. The game is based on the Channel 4 game show presented by Noel Edmonds and he appears on the front of the game's packaging. The main part of the game is playing Deal or No Deal in the traditional way, where you have to decide whether to accept an offer of money for your box at certain points throughout the game, or carry on in the hope of winning more virtual money. Advantages: Quite absorbing sometimes.
Disadvantages: Pretty much the same all the time.

The players box is not in play at this stage. By progressivly selecting boxes which contain low amounts of money the player increases their chances of getting a good offer from the dreaded Banker. The banker as his name suggests is the man who pays out the winnings. he studies the game as it is played, but he also studies the player in an effort to find a weakness which he can use. The banker also has no idea what sums of money are contained within any of the boxes. So round one over and the Banker makes an offer for the box which the player has. I LOVE LAMP!

Advantages: Hilarious, quotable script and great performances
Disadvantages: A bit weird and silly for some

The film starts off as a standard 70s pastiche with some nice one-liners, but by the end it's an all-out comedy which rivals any in terms of the jokes-to-laughs ratio - a very important factor. The funniest character is not actually Burgundy, but in fact the scene stealing Steve Carell as Brick, the weather guy. People like him because he's "polite and rarely late", and he comes out with some of the funniest and most random lines, such as "I ate a big red candle", "I love lamp" and "Where'd you get those suits, the toilet store?". Carell is one of my favourite comic actors, and he's without doubt the best thing about this film. The rest of the cast are great too - Will Ferrell is very funny, and really suits this role, surely because he wrote it for himself. He's a whole lot better in this than in...
