...Cracking Codes is another book in 'The Knowledge' series written for children aged between 9-14. Various authors write this series and each book tackles a different subject. The fun way in which the books are written allows them to discuss some difficult subjects and theories without them seeming boring or over complicated. In this way the books give children a vast amount of information and knowledge without the children being aware that they are learning so much and more importantly without giving them a brain overload. Although I have mentioned that these books are primarily written for children I think that they are just as suitable for young adults as the vast amount of information in them is amazing and is told in a concise yet extremely informative way. Advantages: Good cast
Disadvantages: Incomprehensible in places

...I saw this film at the cinema recently. It is written by Frank Cottrell Boyce, directed by Michael Winterbottom and produced by Andrew Eaton. Code 46 stars Tim Robbins and Samantha Morton and it is a sci-fi romance, mixed with film-noir elements. The basic plot is that it is the not-too-distant future on Earth and science has invented strange viruses and people need a single document to move from one country to another. Cities are over-crowded and they are guarded by high-security checkpoints. Without the right card - a "papelle" - people are left without anywhere to live or any real identity. The deserts are populated by people who have no ID. The card is basically ID and insurance and a Visa rolled into one. The Mighty Mars Bar

Advantages: Classic chocolate bar
Disadvantages: They changed the nougat filling

...This is perhaps the most classic chocolate bar from my childhood. It has long been my favourite as a kid and I sort of have to say it still is so as not to feel as if I have disowned it (sorry Mars Bar but I have found other favourites - I still love you though!). 'A Mars a day helps you work rest and play' - this was the little catchphrase that was associated with Mars Bar. Funny really; it's like saying a chocolate bar a day is good for you. The slogan has now changed to 'Pleasure you can't measure' which definitely seems more appropriate. A standard Mars bar comes at 58g, about 11cm long and 1.8cm high. You'll pay about 32p for this bar in supermarkets which is well below the norm of 50p. Advantages: Intelligent British science fiction, good performances, looks good.
Disadvantages: Most of it has been done before.

...Intelligent British science fiction isn't a term heard particularly often these days. In fact, dumb British science fiction isn't really heard of either. Simply put, for some reason the British film industry backs away from the whole genre, which is a shame, although when a unique piece does manage to break through, it does make it all the more special. Code 46 is such a piece, although before one can appreciate it for what it is, one has to accept that pretty much everything within this film has been done before. So much of it being lifted from elsewhere may be annoying in many films, but Code 46 takes its basis from some of the intelligent sci-fi greats; elements of Blade Runner, Gatacca and eXistenZ all seem to work their way into the film. Can you crack the code .........

Advantages: Plenty of discount codes, easy to save money , up to date
Disadvantages: Cluttered and busy home page, a little clunky,

...habits to save what I have so far, it's all been through using sites and services I already do use. The site seems to be very regularly updated, and I like that the expiry date for each discount code is clearly stated, so I don't waste time entering dead codes at site checkouts . The only downside to this website is that it IS cluttered, and a little difficult to get used to initially . I do recommend using the search bar to search for a specific retailer if you already know where you want to shop, as it will save you plenty of time. Overall though, it's a great site that will probably save you a fair amount of money, and any extra in my pocket is fine with me ....
