HOMEPRIDE BARBECUE COOK-IN-SAUCE
Review of Homepride Barbecue sauce cookin by
kismet
Advantages: tasty, easy to use
Disadvantages: none
...Please ignore the picture here as I am reviewing the tinned product and anyway the picture is of Chicken Tonight!!! (Does anybody know how I can contact Ciao to get this changed?)
I have added a picture of the tin at the end of this review. The actual product is Homepride Barbecue Cook-In-Sauce. It comes in a tin, weight 500g.
I like Cooking sauces as I eat a lot of chicken and like to spice it up a bit without adding a lot of extra calories or fat.
The barbecue sauce is ideal as it is low in fat.

My Tube Of Pleasure-Texas Barbecue Pringles
Review of Pringles Texas Barbecue Sauce by
debmercury
Advantages: Crispy, Delicious and they have a real barbecue flavour taste.
Disadvantages: You Have To Eat Them All
...I love Pringles Texas Barbecue flavour and they always seem to jump into my trolley when I am shopping (naughty Pringles now I will have to eat you). When you are in a Snack Attack Mood nothing else will do. It's that crispy delicious distinct dry potato taste that gets me every time and well there doesn't seem any point leaving any in the tube.
About Pringles
The Pringles recipe was made in 1956. In 1964 Pringles went into production. The distinctive Pringle can was introduced in 1970 and by 1998 Pringles where available in 40 countries round the world.

A Tasty Stonebaked Barbecue Chicken Pizza
Review of Co-op Stonebaked Barbecue Chicken Pizza by
mints4merlin
Advantages: Quick, good for you and tasty :)
Disadvantages: Not as much cheese on as we would like
...too. The base is floury and tastes nice to dip into a garlic and herb dip too. Theres not too much tomato puree either which further adds to the delights so flavours of the barbecue chicken and gorgeous sauce lashed over the top can truely be enjoyed!
Overall 4 stars rating it's an affordable option to actually cooking at only £2.50, is a decent size too, great for sharing although i could have happily eatent the whole thing having been busy all day and had worked up an appetite. You may want to add some extra cheese as we would have done if i'd remembered to pick up some grated mozerella - as you dont get much on the pizza itself, infact you get more chicken and sauce than any cheese really. But still hits the spot and the sauce is one of the nicest tasting barbecue ones ever. Definately worth a try - idea for summer.
Thank you...

Barbecue Convert - Thanks to the Weber Gold BBQ
Review of Weber One Touch" Gold Barbecue" by
onionsj
Advantages: Superb results, Easily moved around, lots of accessories
Disadvantages: Grill size / shape - means it's difficult to fit in the sink to clean
...I have always been adamant that I do not like barbecued food.
My previous experiences had been charcoaled sausages - black on the outside, raw in the middle. All other food crisp with a charred flavoured seasoning. YUCK!
After a period of my partner trying to convince me otherwise, and that with the long hot summer providing a good excuse to eat outside, I finally accepted defeat and agreed to purchase a BBQ.
After looking around at the various options the Weber provided the best quality and value for money!
The Weber range is endless with both charcoal and gas versions on offer.
The Weber "one touch" Gold is a charcoal version. It is mid range with SIlver (low) and Platinum (high).
They also come in two gril sizes 18.5" and 22.5"
Prices for the Gold are between £129 and £159, Silver £99 - 129, Platinum £199...

American icon WOOLWORTHS 125 years on
Review of Woolworths (Shop) by
halk
Advantages: Choclate
Disadvantages: Poor Quality
...American icon; Woolworths have they lost their respect? Venture into the Woolworth store and you will find a very new look, the outlay and structure of the shop has been changed from the old wide open spaces to racking that towers towards the ceiling with a winding painted red floor that guides you more or less around the store.
Back in the 70s I remember that Woolworths was the ultimate store to shop at. Woolworths offers its customers value-for-money on all kind of products. It is built around the well known Woolworths brand which is represented in towns and cities throughout the UK. F.W. Woolworths, a subsidiary of its US parent and was founded in the UK in 1909. The first store
Opened in Liverpool, Entertainment; home ware, kids (toys...

Captain Theo's Barbecue Cruise
Review of Captain Theo's Barbecue Cruise by
allyoxley
Advantages: Fabulous Day out for everybody
Disadvantages: it has to come to an end
...and everybody was singing and having water fights and acting no better than the kids.
As it approached lunchtime we stopped at a bay known as Limnopoula (close to Kassiopi). The bay was filled with sunbeds but not a soul was to be seen, nor a building or anything except this deserted beach. The boat moored a little way out, but a bridge was placed down for us to reach the beach. Whilst moored here, everyone was diving from the boat into the crystal waters, the beach was so clean and the sea was as clear as tap water. Theo and his crew set up the barbecue here, and hey what a barbie it was, the food was delicious with steaks, chops, sausages and all the other norm babrbie meat, there was salads galore, potatoes everything you could want and tons of it, you just kept going back as much as you wanted and it just never run out. Nor did the wine...

Why are Woolworths stores so different...
Review of Woolworths (Shop) by
welshwickedone
Advantages: That depends on the store you visit.
Disadvantages: Depends on the store you visit.
...Woolworths.
-----------------------
Newport is lucky in the fact that it has two Woolworth stores for customers to visit. In my opinion that is just as well as they are both so different because the main City Centre store in the Kingsway Centre is a nightmare to visit, but the larger store in 28east retail park is great. Having paid visits to both stores within the last two weeks I decided to write a review on the store I received most problems with, I will give credit to the other store though as it was a very pleasant visit.
History.
------------------
Woolworths is a subsidiary company of its US parent group F.W.Woolworths that first started trading as a five and dime store in the US in 1878. It was foundered by Frank Winfield Woolworth which soon gained massive success and led to major expansions across the US...

Walking in a Woolworths Winterland
Review of Woolworths (Shop) by
BUBBLES171
Advantages: A cosy shop that we all know and love
Disadvantages: unhelpful staff
...Come on how many of you used to get to Woolies on a saturday to buy records and would queue up for ages just to get the latest release.
For you younger people records were made of vinyl plastic with a hole in the middle that you could play on a record player. If you still do not know what I mean ask your parents. P.s. when they went out of fashion we would melt them over the cooker and make ashtrays lol.
F W Woolworths first opened its store in 1909 and built a steady industry until 1982 when it was bought by part of the companys that are know as Kingfisher, these include BandQ and Superdrug. In 1991 they bought MVC. In 2001 they demerged from Kingfisher but still kept onto superdrug.
The Store Layout
----------------
The front of our store bears the Woolworths logo of a large red banner with Woolworths written on in white...

Woolworths influence the charts...
Review of Woolworths (Shop) by
popstar
Advantages: nice cheep products and good style of design
Disadvantages: not enough single releases
...Nearly every town in the UK has a Woolworths, be it Bognor or Bristol, Clacton or Coventry.
Each shop has basicaly the same range of merchandise as the next and at the same prices, although most of the prices are way above what you would expect to pay elseware, expecialy the delicious 'Pic N Mix' although they arn't usualy too strict if you happen to.. find one in your mouth before you pay for them!
The main reason I use Woolworths is for the music collection as its the only music shop we have in the town I live in.
The CD's in Woolworths are always competitively priced and singles sales account for one third of sales throughout the UK in the Sunday charts, this can be a problem because Woolworths only agree to stock the surefire hits and not the ones that would get to number one if people could only buy them.
Take...

Putting the 'worth' in Woolworths
Review of Woolworths (Shop) by
grahamgibson
Advantages: Lots of local chains, wide range of goods, reasonable prices.
Disadvantages: None to mention.
...Woolworth’s is undoubtedly one of the best known and longest running chain of high-street stores in the United Kingdom. It's one of those shops that, regardless of your particular generation, seems like it's almost always been there. Certainly I'm sure that many people in their early thirties, like myself, will hold fond memories of buying sweets and toys there as a child.
Because of this, and the wide range of items it sells, it appeals to quite a diverse range of age groups and holds a very welcoming and familiar feel. However, let us not fall into the old trap of having familiarity breeding contempt for although we may take its presence for granted it still serves as much of an important role in local community shopping today as it has done for many years.
The one thing that Woolworth’s can be praised for more...
