...In my opinion Barnsley are the top team in South Yorkshire. They have the ultimate skill of keeper Kevin Miller, one of Division Ones best shot stoppers. Striker Neil Shipperley has already scored 8 goals this season, so that just goes to show that Barnsley do have the skill, it?s just putting it in to practice week in week out. The only fault with the Reds is the diminishing number of spectators going to Oakwell, long gone are the days of premiership glory when 19,000 was a regular occurrence. Theglory grabbers have gone and we?re back to 12,000 when it comes to 3.00pm Saturday. If Barnsley are to make it back to the top then what they need is the support of the fans that once were....

...Recently I have been swapping DVDs with my friend ; I've been borrowing her 'up-to-date' movies and she's been watching my 'rom-coms'. ...House is a fantastic series and I missed the first one but got in to watching this in the second series, so I rushed out to buy the first series box set and I could not stop watching it, it is so addictive. If you love medical dramas then this is one for you as it's not all your normal diagnosis, each episode goes through a new medical dilemma they have to try and solve and they are not your usual colds and virus's. House is a medical programme with a diagnosis to be made, so each episode has you playing doctor trying to figure what has caused the patient's medical condition. A Wooden Album by Crowded House?

Advantages: 'Woodface' includes some of the most sublime love songs ever written
Disadvantages: It's all a bit much and much the same; the tracks that do dare to be different, don't fit

Advantages: Fantastic insight into how the islanders lived

...Arnol is a small village on the remote northern coast of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides. Today the village comprises of a number small crofts scattered across a large area but if you look closer you will see the remains of many Black Houses interspersed between the more modern houses. Black Houses are as far as I know unique to the North West Highlands of Scotland and represent a way of life for the people that have lived here, virtually in isolation from the mainland for thousands of years.
