GT Aggressor XC2. What a Bike for the Money

Advantages: Strong Frame and Wheels, Tyres do not let go
Disadvantages: None really!!

...Bought this bike with my work cycle to work scheme. A great buy from Halfords. Excellent speck for the price and a very strong bike. I'm 18st 10 (253 ibs) and in my opinion this bike can handle this weight easily. Great colour Black with like a Pearlesent White, Very good speck components, Shimano Deore derauillers and Sram Truvatic Crank. Hydrolic Brakes and Discs. These will stop you instantly and do tare a little time to get used to or a flight over the bars could come along. These sqeak when covered in Muck and Water for the first few occasions, but when used this disapates. Wheels are Alex DP17 rims, Strong, Maxxis Ingnitor Tyres Grip like hell. Suntour XCR forks are ok for Cross Country riding, Not a great Jump fork, but hey Im no Jumper! (I think that if yoiu are lighter than me you could have some safe landings with these...

On Yer Bike!

Advantages: Great fun, slow, Harry loves it
Disadvantages: Noisy, siren is a pain

...Now, Harry isn't what I would call a daredevil. In fact, he's not into anything that moves too fast or does things that he doesn't expect to happen, pretty much like any 2 and a half year old I expect. So as you can imagine, I wasn't overly thrilled when I found out last year that Harry's great aunt had bought him a motorised motor bike. Please bear in mind last Christmas he was only 21 months old and consequently pretty small and unconfident, but nonetheless, the Halfords Mini Racer Bike was on its way to us courtesy of my parents. It wasn't something we expected to keep for long but funnily enough, its now become Harry's favourite ever toy! Advantages: Large capacity, Very Fast transfer rate

...I've been using the Barracuda 320GB Hard Drive for some months now, I bought it for the capacity, speed and new features aswell as many past experiences with seagate drives that have always been good, they may not come top in benchmark tests but there usually in the top five and are one of the most quiet. As with most drives, after formatting you lose some space, the 320GB ended up being about 298GB, but no complaints here 298 gigs is more space than I'll ever use. The "ES" models are the ones to buy if you want reliability there designed for 24/7 operation mainly used in businesses, the Barracuda ES monitors temperatures and shuffles I/O requests to allow the drive to cool if it gets too hot. Barracuda 7200.11 AVOID at all costs

Disadvantages: no reliability what so ever, will definitely break unless you update firmware

...The Barracuda ES line is the higher-end (aka server line) series from Seagate, one of the big player in the storage business. It's designed for 24/7 operation and comes with five years warranty. This one is the SATA-II type which allows a maximum 3Gbps transfer rate. Some old motherboards can't accept SATA-II type of harddisk, so Seagate puts a jumper to "downgrade" the Barracuda ES to SATA-I specification (1.5 Mbps transfer rate). It has 16MB cache for maximum speed and reliability. Most hard disks come with 4-8MB of cache size. This one is very fast, reliable and impressive. Wheely good bike! (Giant Defy 2.5 Road Bike)

Advantages: Light, Great gears, Good looks
Disadvantages: Uncomfortable saddle, not the greatest wheels

...I have long harboured a desire to own a half decent roadbike. Fortunately my employers opted into the "Cycle to Work scheme" And I purchased a Defy 2.5. Looks This bioke looks good in a largely black and white frame with grey details. The bike itself is set at fairly agressive angles with a nice low handlebar. Frame The frame is extremely light aluminium (10kg total weight) and put together with very neat and efficient welds. The geometry feels right on the bike, although if you are new to raod bikes you may find the handlebar set a little low. My first ciouple of journeys resulted in sore back and stiff neck, however you soon adjust. ...Last weekend, me and my friends decided to go for a tour of Regent Canal by bicycle, and therefore we looked for a bike hire service in London. Between all the websites we found this one, an appealing website with photographs of fantastic dutch classical bikes for hire in London. The website shows photographs of really nice and stylish bikes which are for rent at a decent price, 25 pounds per day per bike if you hire them for 1-3 days. Even though there were cheaper options we decided to treat ourselves for one day and choose one of these appealing bicycles, just to make it a really unique experience for one day! If only we knew! The delivery process is quite straightforward, you choose a bicycle and they deliver it to you wherever you are in London with a little van. And here we had the first surprise: they delivered to us 3 bikes...
