Advantages: Just a fantastic rock album! Disadvantages: None!
...Bat Out Of Hell is an album, which was released by Meat Loaf in October 1977. The album contains 7 songs and is 46:33 long. The songs were produced and written by Jim Steinman and Todd Rundgren. It is the the third best-selling album worldwide - which gives you an idea of just how fantastic it truly is!
1. Bat Out Of Hell (9:48)
2. You Took The Words Right Out Of My Mouth (5:04)
3. Heaven Can't Wait (4:38)
4. All Revved Up With No Place To Go (4:19)
5. Two Out Of Three Ain't Bad (5:23)
6. Paradise By The Dashboard Light (8:28)
7. For Crying Out Loud (5:45)
I'd heard my brother and dad saying how good Meat Loaf was, but as i didn't really like alot of the music that they do, i thought he would just be another one of these people who scream songs and you can't tell a word that they are saying. Upon listening to the 'Bat Out...
Advantages: a really nice middle Disadvantages: Kashmir Willow
...LOOKS
This Bat in my view is one of the best looking bats around and has not got to much pictures on the bat like the Kookaburra angry beast. I think the blue and red go very well together and really look good. Even the grip fits in with the style having blue slashes on it done by "the beast". The beast itself is not overdone but it still noticeable from a distance. I think the fact that the wood is unbleached giving it a more white effect looks better for it's style than a darker wood. I love the looks because you can really show the bat off and not worry about being seen bating with it.
POWER
The middle on this bat is awesome you can hit a cricket ball miles and you really know when you have caught it right. As for the bat itself it is very forgiving of bad shots and has a lot of power. The bat has great power considering it is...

...Introduction
Bat out of Hell is the third best selling album of all time, behind Thriller and Back In Black, and here's why I think that might be...
I first heard the song Bat Out Of Hell eight years ago, when I was only ten, and didn't think that much to it. What I didn't realise however, was what I had heard on the free Daily Mail CD of Power Ballads, was an awfully watered down and pitifully edited four minute version of the song. I soon came to realise that Bat Out Of Hell was only to be listened to if you have the original edit, and ten minutes to spare, when my dad delved into his dusty record collection and cranked up the volume on his old player, just to prove that what I had listened to was not what Meat Loaf intended to be heard, and I quickly disposed of the god awful free CD.
So I sat and listened, and thought the song...
Advantages: An absolute classic album Disadvantages: None
...Is it really thirty years since this album was originally released ?(well coming up for 29 to be precise becasue it was originally released on 21 October 1977). This is rightly rated as one of the greatest albums ever produced, and despite their only being seven tracks on the album, each of them is quite lengthy in nature. This is definitely a case of quality and quantity.
If there is anybody out there who has never heard of Meatloaf, or have only grown up with the later stuff such as I'd do anything for love (but I won't do that) then you haven't lived. This is the ultimate in classic rock, and there really isn't a weak track on the album.
Bat out of Hell is Meatloafs (aka Marvin Lee Aday) second album and by far his most successful. The artwork on the album cover is second to none and depicts a motorbike riding off like a bat...
Advantages: Value for money Disadvantages: Not the best quality
...I recommended this bat to a brother of mine, a beginner, with not much experience of the game.
I recommened this bat because of its value for money, as a junior or beginner, you don't want to be paying too much money for a bat, as it is all about fun, and not being too serious.
As for the bat itself, you get what you pay for, you know when you pay around £20 your not going to get the best bat ever, but for a junior or beginner to the game it would be excellent due to its durability and weight.
The bat my brother bought still exists now, well worn but he still uses it to this day, around a year or two ago when he bought it, he likes it and hes picky!
In review i recommend this bat to all it fits, and i hope this has helped you all in the search of a new cricket bat.
Regards, mrcricket....
Advantages: Full of classic songs, The man is superb Disadvantages: Could have added a few more tracks maybe
...Oh well, I thought I would try my hand at writing a review about a music CD for once, I have avoided this, as although I like to listen to music, I seem to struggle actually writing opinions on it, I guess it down to my limited musical terms vocabulary or something DOH, so here goes.
Meatloaf, you either love him or hate him, I personally love him (well not literary if you know what I mean), he has got to go down as one of the most expressive and hard-working rock legends out there, I mean have you ever seen him perform, the guy puts everything into it.
Anyway, I have owned the “Bat out of Hell” CD for many a year, and have to say it is one of my all-time favourites, it was actually first released in the late 70’s but is absolutely age-less and every track is written the famous music writer, Jim Steinman, who has...
...I?ve reviewed a fair amount of old black and white films on this site and if you?re to take a quick glance through you?d be forgiven for thinking that I generally don?t like them. However, even though I rate them low I do like a lot of them personally but I rate them more on how what they deserve relative to other films and what I think the vast majority of people will like. Another reason why I?ve rated so many badly is I simply have a lot more to say about films I don?t like or films that aren?t any good than films I do like. The Bat is probably the oldest film I?ve reviewed so far, being made in 1926, and I just had to write a review because of how good it was and completely against the grain of pathetic, half-assed mystery/horror films it is. It?s not a ?so-bad-it?s-good? film. It?s just an overall truly excellent film.
The opening...

Review of The Bat (DVD)
Advantages: Great music and lyrics, well written and performed Disadvantages: Songs tend to be a bit long
...While the Bay City Rollers have always been my favorite group, I love Meat Loaf too. I know these acts are so different from each other that it can be really hard to believe that anyone could like both. So go ahead and call me crazy.
I don?t know if I can put my finger on any one quality that Meat Loaf has that I like about his music any more than I could about the Bay City Rollers.
For me, it?s a combination of things. I like hard rock anyway, especially since some the best rock bands, like Heart, comes out of Seattle and I just live on the other side of the state in Spokane. But I digress.
What I like about Meat Loaf is that he can be so hard rock in a song and in that same song do this about face and the song becomes slower, kind of tender and, well, sometimes almost loving.
I particularly like Meat Loaf?s CD, Bat of Hell...
Advantages: the original Dracula story . . . Disadvantages: . . . is not as good as I thought
...Frankenstein?s Monster, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, Tarzan, Robinson Crusoe, Dracula et al have left the confines of the book covers and become icons of our cultural heritage, all of them have also become the protagonists of films, Dracula is No 1 among them with about 400 (!) films that show him in one form or the other.
Dracula has only ever meant ?Transsylvania, castle, vampires? to me, but a region, a building and a blood-sucking bat don?t make a story, I found it was high time to have a look at what the Irishman Bram Stoker originally wrote in 1897.
We travel with Jonathan Harker, a young solicitor, to a castle in Transsylvania ?in the midst of the Carpathian mountains, one of the wildest and least known portions of Europe?. The nearer the coach gets to the destination, the more strangely Harker?s fellow-travellers behave: they...
Advantages: Great acting, great story, a dark and 'mood' film - a great adaptation Disadvantages: None for me.
...Written by Sam Hamm, Warren Skaaren and directed by Tim Burton, Batman is the first in a series of films about the comic book hero that was released back in August 1989. This is a review of the film only.
