baby soft skin - even for the oldies!!!!
Review of Johnson's Bath Oil by
SecretFormula
Advantages: soft smooth skin
Disadvantages: try not to slip in the bath!!
...The best by far for bath oil to put in your bath must be johnsons baby oil. Having had a bath in this my skin feels so soft and smooth and not at all dry, there is even no need to have to moisturise skin when you get out as the oil does all that for you. The only thing that you do have to watch is that you don't slip over when getting in and out of the bath as it does make the bottom of the bath rather slippery!!!!! Also great after sun moisuriser too!!!!...

A wonderful soft skin for time savers!
Review of Avon Skin So Soft Bath Oil by
Hydragen
Advantages: Does not dry your skin
Disadvantages: Not available in stores
...I have first bought this Avon Skin So Soft bath oil in the Soft and Senual fragrance to moisturize my skin while bathing as I was always on the go. Not having much time to rub oils or body lotion all over after bathing I have found this product as an amazing, quick and efficient alternative.
The smell of this bath oil is floral and it is pretty delicate and pleasant at the same time. The oil blends right into the warm bath water and make sure you'll use only a moderate amount as it is only what is really needed.
You will notice a well moisturize and soft skin when you will leave the bath tub....

Want Silky Smooth Skin.
Review of Boots Kyusu Essence Rebalancing Bath Oil by
zeebra
Advantages: Moisture fit for a king.
Disadvantages: None that I can think of.
...The Boots Kyusu Essence Rebalancing Bath Oil is brilliant for people who like to use oil in their bath, I didn't fall down in the bath with this one, so although it says that it's oil, it doesn't make the bath slippy which is a good point for starters. This product has a light floral scent, which is not too heavy, so men and women could use this product, and it leaves the skin silky smooth when you get out of the bath, followed the other products in this range, Boots have done theirselves proud with this product range. A bit on the pricey side mind you, but you dont need to use a lot in your bath for lovely bubbles to emerge....

Olay - bath foam
Review of Oil of Olay Moisturising Bath Foam by
lisa27
Advantages: Smells lovely and very long lasting
Disadvantages: none
...Another excellent product from the Oil of Olay range is the moisturising bath foam. Great for sensitive skins, it is dermatologically tested and 100% soap free.
This product smells similar to the body wash from Olay and it really does go a long way. Just one squirt creates a bath full of bubbles that you just won't want to get out of.
I usually use the bath foam and the body wash together as they compliment each other nicely. Ideally a women's bath time pleasure, although my boyfriend has been known to have the occasional dip in it!...

Create Your Own 'Sanctuary' At Home
Review of The Sanctuary Bath Relaxer by
daylehall
Advantages: Smells lovely, fairly cheap, leave skin smoothe
Disadvantages: Leaves bath in a state
...I was first introduced to The Sanctuary range about 2 years ago when I was bought a gift set for my birthday.
The Sanctuary
The Sanctuary Covent Garden is based in London (the name is a bit of a give away) and is a posh spa which is exclusive to ladies! The Sanctuary products only used to be available within The Sanctuary itself but they decided to release their range to be sold in shops so woman could ‘have their own Sanctuary at home’.
The Bath Relaxer
The Bath Relaxer product from The Sactuary range is basically a bath oil. It comes in a clear bottle with the Sanctuary logo written across the front. The lid is clear and the opening from which you pour the bath oil is orange (most of the Sanctuary products have this colour scheme)
This oil claims to be ‘an indulgent bath oil which soothes and moisturises the skin.

Get ready for those winter colds and flu
Review of Ginger Essential Oil by
janharper
Advantages: smells great and warms you right through
Disadvantages: can burn if you use too much
...This oil is fiery and hot and it is good in situations where you need warmth. It is extracted by steam distillation from the roots of the ginger plant (Zingiber officinalis, family name: Zingiberaceae).
The main producer of this essential oil is China. It has a sharp fragrance that is quite 'short lived' so it is said to have a 'top note' aroma.
USES:
+++++
Very good for aching muscles, rheumatism and arthritis.
Perfect for a warming, winter bath when you get very cold and shivery.
Helps to make skin less oily.
Good for stomach problems and indigestion.
Rumoured to be an aphrodisiac.
How to use:
+++++++++++
In a warm bath. Mix a couple of drops of orange with three drops of ginger for a warming, soothing and wonderfully aromatic bath. This is especially good if you have a winter cold, aches and pain or rheumtism...

GOOD FOR STOMACH CRAMPS
Review of Tarragon by
michellej
Advantages: HAS A MIXTURE OF HEALING PROPERTIES
Disadvantages: AVOID USING AROUND PREGNANT WOMEN
...Tarragon (Artemisia dracunculus)
Another herb based oil that can’t be used during pregnancy and should only be used in moderation.
It’s got a slight aniseedy smell that’s calming and confident boosting. It helps with all those nervous butterflies and knots in your stomach and is actually great for cramps and pains around the stomach region.
This oil is not recommended for soaking in a hot bath with, the use of this oil is for massage.
The properties of this oil are good, but I wouldn’t buy it again as there are so many that do exactly the same job, that you can soak in the bath with.
Which is the next best thing to massage....

Sensuous and oily
Review of Nougat Sensuous Bath Oil by
just.bcoz
Advantages: smells heavenly, relaxes and pampers
Disadvantages: may be a little too expensive for some
....
The Nougat Sensuous Bath Oil is fantastic, it costs a lot more than your average bath oil but for quality paying that bit more is really worth it. The Sensuous Bath Oil is supplied in a glass decanter which also has a glass stopper on top. Around the neck of the bottle there are five sparkling crystals attached, three are clear and two are a light baby pink. The crystals around the neck of the decanter make it look gorgeous, feminine and expensive; well it is an expensive product but the crystals make it look a lot more luxurious and expensive than it is.
On the front of the decanter there is a small cream coloured sticker, which tells us this particular product is indeed made by Nougat Body to Home. It also states that the product is a Sensuous Bath Oil and is made in England.
The oil inside the decanter is clearly visible, and is a trio...

Has brilliant karming effects
Review of Lush Karma Bath Ballistic by
ljb234
Advantages: subtle smell which lingers on you even afterwards!
Disadvantages: the rusty coloured bath water - does look a bit dirty!
...The karma range by lush is practically the lush trademark, being the actual fragrance they spray around the shop, so I decided to give the bath bomb a go! I love the smell inside the shop and had not used any of the karma products.
THE KARMA FRAGRANCE
The smell consists of Patchouli, Orange, Lavendin, Pine and Lemongrass oil. This blend creates a relaxing, rich and spicy aroma. Orange and Lemongrass (the citrus oils) are used to energise and Patchouli is relaxing. A wonderful creation!
THE KARMA ACTION
The ballistic itself is shaped like a moon or an orange slice and is a pale orange colour, well actually lush say it's sunset colour. When you add this to a full bath, it fizzes around and dissolves. The fragrance is released and the bath water turns a shade of rusty orange. You may find this off putting as it does look a bit like...
