...the bits of dirt which were in the bottom of my bath and the dried on remains of the bubble bath which my boys had had earlier in the day. The taps were all left lovely and shiny when they had been quickly wiped over and they did for once look exceptionally clean. I found that these wipes did make light work of removing dried on toothpaste from around the bathroom sink which was a big bonus for me. I did find there was no residue on the bath, sink or taps when I had wiped them over with these wipes and the fragrance was very apparent throughout the bathroom which for me made it smell and feel very clean. The wipes are not to be flushed down the toilet and are to be thrown away in the normal household rubbish. As this is the case I did not use these wipes to clean the toilet so I cannot comment on how effective they are for this job...

Bathroom Mousse

...I bought this on recommendation from a friend and colleague, who uses it for cleaning at work as well as at home. She said it does the job where other cleaners are just not good enough, so I promptly went out and bought some. I paid £1.05 in Tesco, which I thought was surprisingly cheap for a big name brand like Cif. Cif claim that this bathroom mousse gives brilliant results with minimum effort. You just need to spray the mousse on, leave it 5-10 minutes, and rinse it off. It's suitable for use on plastic, enamel and chrome surfaces. The mousse comes in a tall cylindrical can with a see-through lime green domes lid. The top has the usual mousse-can spray, with a button at one side of the nozzle, which you just press down and out squirts the mousse. I always like to add some toilet cleaner in the toilet because not only does it make the toilet smell fresh and clean but I think it does actually make it cleaner. Having always used some of the more well known brands, i decided to try out tescos own make, mainly because I seem to spend a lot of time in the shop, and it was there! Andrex Moist toilet tissues

...led me to buy a pack of Andrex moist toilet tissue, I am sure I must have had a brainstorm or something! Andrex pack 42 moist wipes in a white plastic tub, the packaging has recently changed and the tub is sealed with a large blue label which bears the Andrex name and has that adorable puppy on it too. The lid needs to be kept firmly closed all of the time, the wipes are moisturised and if the lid gets loose the wipes dry out. Each wipe costs 3.3p, Andrex recommend that either one or two wipes are used at intervals to maintain freshness. The wipes have been dermatologically tested, so anyone with a sensitive bottom will be fine using these. The tub costs £1.91 and the refill pack costs £1.81...so not a lot to be saved there is there? First of all you have to decide where to put these in the bathroom, the tub obviously doesn`t fit...

Luxuriously soft toilet tissue.

Advantages: Great packaging, embossed, 3 ply, lovely and soft, good price.
Disadvantages: None.

...I have tried cheap toilet rolls in the past and I have tried expensive ones and I think that generally you have to pay for good quality ones. The four toilet rolls comes packaged in a polythene bag and it has a nice blue & gold logo on the front of the packaging which makes it feel quite luxurious. By squeezing the packet I can tell that these are quite soft. These Quilted toilet rolls are made up of 3 plys of toilet tissue and this gives it a nice thick, quilted feel and it is very soft. I did find it to be softer and thicker than 2 ply tissues and it is embossed with a nice clover leaf pattern so it even looks nice in my bathroom! There are 165 sheets per roll which is a little less than most standard toilet rolls but then as these are thicker I did find that I needed to use less. I wanted a slim silvery coloured toilet brush holder to match the silver trims on the shower and the bathroom cabinet. When I spotted this one I was pleased, this set only costs £9.97p. Similar ones are available at slightly higher prices. This set consists of a base into which fits a stainless steel arc which has a toilet roll holder into the base fits the silvery container to keep the toilet brush in. This is a freestanding item.
