...I had been intending to purchase a battery charger for quite a while. In fact I had even dropped hints to certain family members around Christmas time, but to no avail. I was recently reminded of this missing piece of equipment in my life when I rediscovered the PC lead to my digital camera. Remembering that a pair of standard batteries lasted for only about 30 photos in this camera I decided that it was certainly time to invest in a battery charger and some rechargeable batteries. I purchased an Energizer CHDCW8 ? 4 battery charger from Argos for just £9.99. This decision was based on several factors, the most important of which was the price and what I considered to be the best value for money. Advantages: Cheap, reliable, long lasting, reasonable price.
Disadvantages: Still gets warm. Plastic plug = breakable?

...---THE PRODUCT--- Definately glad to be an owner of one of these chargers, even though they seem quite pricey, the batteries are great as they are reusable, and you don't waste money on purchasing darn AA batteries, again and again. It's easy to use, don't take hours to charge like the previous models which took around 8 hours and meant that you had to leave it on over night, worrying that it would heat up and catch the house on fire. ...The Uniross x-press 300 is a good charger which supports a range of different battery sizes. I bought this charger last year because I bought a wireless mouse and keyboard so made more sense getting rechargeable batteries rather than spending money on normal batteries every few weeks. I went with Uniross as they make decent rechargeable batteries and are well known for it. This x-press 300 charges AAA, AA & 9V size batteries. It lets you charge 2 or 4 AA/AAA and one 9V batteries of the same type at the same time. It's suitable for AA, AAA and 9V (PP3) NiCd and NiH batteries. To use AAA batteries you simply flip down a little holder within the charger and it will hold the AAA batteries to charge. Good battery charger for it's price

Advantages: Charges quickly, easy to use.
Disadvantages: Doesn't feel too strong... Not much of a problem.

...I bought this so that I wouldnt' have to keep paying for batteries all the time for my camera. Most battery chargers cost a lot more than this one did (I bought this one for about £12, from Amazon), so it was good to get a deal on it. The package includes the charger itself, 4 AA batteries and a car adapter, so you can charge your batteries in the car. The batteries are easy to insert, there are two spring-loaded extensions that spring out. These are so you can charge AAA batteries as well, and they fold away when you're charging AA batteries. I find that charging batteries doesn't take very much time at all, I just leave them in for a short while and after a short while the red light turns green to show that the charge is complete. Samsung U600 - poor battery life

...I have mixed thoughts over this phone, I have had mine for nearly 18 months now and won't be having another one. It has a lot of excellent features on the phone but has some glitches. The first thing I noticed is that the battery life was really poor, I had to charge mine up every day and half to two days, which would be fine if I had been using it a bit, but I hadn't. With other phones I have had I used to be able to get three days of life out of it. I have found myself going away for a weekend and having my phone die on me at some point. Uniross 1 Hour AA and AAA battery charger

Advantages: Easy to use with built in intelligent system

If you charged four 2,700mah (milli-amp hours) AA batteries you would be closer to two hour charging time but for most combinations 1 hour is ample and smaller amp-hour batteries will be under an hour. It's a very sturdy bit of kit within a slightly odd design. It is manufactured from plastic of pretty thick cconstruction and I have no issue with the robustness of it. However, I can not for the life of me understand how they arrived at the sliding cover that sleeves the whole unit. It does not detract from its usability one bit but I would have liked to of been in on the design concept meeting to see how they got to the finsihed result :) I paid 16.99 for mine but I think if you shop around a bit you can save £2 or £3 off of that, plus delivery costs. Samsung's Neat Little Netbook

Advantages: Good performance, Good connectivity options, Good webcam, 160GB HDD, Upgradeable
Disadvantages: Not very good accessories, Picks up Fingerprints, Weird button under touchpad

...(although I do still have the cloth from my Eee PC). USING The NC10 has a 1.6GHz Atom processor and 1GB of RAM, which doesn't sound like much but it is very nippy for a low cost notebook. Music and videos play smoothly as they would on a full size laptop. The memory is even upgradable as the 1GB memory can be swapped with a 2GB one for even more performance. Also, 160GB storage for something that was meant to just be for surfing the net is pretty good and would allow for a lot of downloading. I would prefer this over a Linux netbook with a Solid State Drive with limited storage. Battery life seems to last about 5 hours although they quote 7 hours (probably only if you have it with the lowest brightness and leave it idle). Review of Samsung NC10

Samsung U600 Fairly Good Phone, Poor Battery Time.

Advantages: Very stylish, simple to understand menu, Great camera, Good value for money.
Disadvantages: Poor battery life, weak screen, easy to catch touch buttons.

...I bought this phone about a year ago and its been going fairly good, had a few problems along the way, the screen has cracked twice now but i have been able to replace them i feel the screen is quite weak and a small bang can crack it all the way through to the lcd. I also feel that the Battery life is very poor, such as if i'm texting during the day it only lasts about 7-8 hours and even if i dont use it i have to charge it up every night or it will be dead by dinner time the next day...i think this is because of the touch buttons which i also found a bit difficult to get use to, even now its easy to accidently ring someone like the other day i was using the light as a torch and rang someone at 5.30am...ooops... :)......and also if you are nearly to the end of a long text message its very fustrating when you catch the cancel button...
