Nokia N95 - Batteries not included.
Advantages: GPRS, Web, 5 MP camera, speakers.
Disadvantages: Battery life, Prone to crashing.
...The Nokia N95, such a hyped up handset from the worlds leading mobile handset manufacturer. I bought the N95 when it first came out, couldn't wait to get my hands on it. Satellie navigation i thought on a phone...wow.
I am very into new gadgets ,especially mobile phones and find myself changing my handset and even my contracts regularly just to get the latest technology. Sad...maybe, but gadgets are cool and this one is no exception. When it arrived i couldn't wait to unpack the box. Which was full of goodies. The handset obviously, a 1 GB Micros SD memory card, USB connection cable, wall charger, manuals and nokia software suite.
I eargerly assembled the handset and plugged it into the wall to charge, with a view of leaving it there for at least 16 hours (full battery charge cycle). This will aid the battery in holding 100...

Nokia N95
Advantages: large screen
Disadvantages: none
...the maps to my handset pretty simple i thought. The opening sequence of Nokia Maps is just like google earth, with a large 3D image of earth which then continues to zoom in until you reach your GPS position. Showing you very detailed maps of your area, points of interest, fuel stations, banks, hotels, internet enabled areas, golf courses, libraries just to name a few. A very good application even if it does literally suck the battery life from the phone.
The menu system of the N95 is colourful and themes can be changed to your liking, you can also download and install (with great ease) addition themes from the web or creat one yourself using nokia's theme creator which is available via the web. It's a fairly easy to use handset although those people scared of technology would have a hard time using this handset due to it's complexity...

The Nokia N95
Advantages: Good quality with plenty of great features and applications
Disadvantages: Short battery life, may occasionally freeze
...The Nokia n95 was first released on sale in the UK at the beginning of 2007. It was one of the most advanced phones available at this time. It has a lot to offer the owner. First of all, the display is a 240 x 360 TFT display with ambient light detector and up to 16million different colours to take your fancy. The display is quite clear with not a lot of icons to clutter up the space.
The signal and battery levels are illustrated in the top corners of the screen split either side of the time and the profile selection, e.g. silent, general, and meeting. Beneath this we have the main tabs showing from left to right; the contacts list, radio DJ, bluetooth, web, gallery and maps. The calendar is hidden below this and can be opened to view dates and set reminders for birthdays etc. These reminders appear on the main display screen which is...

The Nokia N95
Advantages: Excellent services
Disadvantages: Large in size
...The beginning:
I bought the nokia N95 when it came newly on the market. It was brought through a contract with o2 after I closed my sim only contract where I payed £25 a month (I think). o2 rang me and asked me if I wanted an upgrade and truthfully I was looking to buy a new phone as I originally had a nokia 6600, which as you may well know is nearly the size of a brick (although the nokia n95 isn't really any smaller). Anyway the o2 supervisor asked me which type of contract I wanted which got sorted but I wanted the 'newest phone out' which at that time was the nokia N95. When the o2 supervisor mentioned it had a navigation system, I thought 'I'll have that please' so agreed to buy it on contract. I didn't know which colours they had and which colour I was going to get but I came to have the plum colour one, which I preferred in...

Nokia N95
Advantages: Too many to mention
Disadvantages: disappointing sat nav
...I recently purchased the Nokia N95 I have now had it for about two weeks, I haven't had a chance to use all the features, but have used quite a few and had a play around. So thought I would write a review and then update it as I try more and more of the features.
The N95 is packed with features and this review could last for days if I explained them all. I'm going to concentrate on the most used and interesting features.
Lets start with the look and the screen size:
I like Nokias and am a fan and I haven't been disappointed with the look and feel of the N95. My other half has a Nokia N73 and when they are side by side the phones look very similar the difference and in my opinion the benefit of the N95 is the screen size. The screen is large for such a compact phone, it is 2.6 inch all the technical specifications can be found...

My Experiences with the Nokia N95
Advantages: Camera, Sound and video quality.
Disadvantages: Battery life
...I have owned the Nokia N95 smartphone for several months now, and would definitely recommend it to a friend. It is a feature-rich, easy to use phone that has served me well so far.
Out of the box, it is very easy to setup, and the included software to install on your pc allows you to backup all your phones data and contacts to your computer, just in case the phone should fail.
Fortunately, this backup has never been needed, as this phone has proved itself to be near indestructible. I have dropped it several times to no effect, and the screen is very scratch resistant.
The phone is also a very capable media player. Although its onboard memory is small, it can be expanded by a micro SD card into the top of the phone. Sound quality and video quality are excellent, and sliding the phone downwards reveals a set of dedicated keys...

Nokia N95
Advantages: Feature rich, 3G phone, available on all networks.
Disadvantages: Battery life, Size
...onto the Satellites. Navigating by foot is catered for too! Something that other CPS devices omit.
Battery life is appreciably shorter than other phones I have owned but with normal use is acceptable.
I would not be without this phone and would recommend it if it is still available. There is a new edition of this phone, N95-8Gb if you can no no longer get the N95....

Nokia N95
Advantages: Great Camera, lots of extras
Disadvantages: not enough storage space, music loudspeaker not that loud
...Well I have to say as a fan of Nokia the N95 did not disappoint. The screen is great it is extremely user friendly and has so many features and applications it will keep you busy for ages.
However, a couple of things to point out with the N95 is the Satnav facility. This was one of the reasons I bought the phone, you have to download the maps, sometimes the software can be a bit dodgy ( I had to reinstall the maps and format my disk to get it to work) Its a great service, but you do have to pay extra to get the actual voice navigation program. After paying line rental and call costs the last thing I wanted to do was spend more money!
The camera is pretty awesome for a phone and was the first mobile phone to have a 5megapixel Carl Zeiss camera.
The back of my phone came off, probably after dropping it a few times, and now...
