...I bought this camcorder in 2005 and it has come into its own since then. The reason I bought it was because we often visit places like Florida, where everyone is walking around with a camcorder. I felt left out. The camcorder is extremely easy to use and has a touch screen, meaning less confusing buttons. The menu is split into various sub menus, making it easy to find the function that you want. It is possible to customise nearly everything with this camcorder like turning off the annoying red light when you are filming and turning off the more so annoying 'beep'. The camcorder takes Mini DV tapes, which you can buy fairly cheap on E-Bay (don't buy them from places like argos, they are extremely expensive there). ...For XBox 360 owners who already own a PLAY AND CHARGE kit for their system (rechargeable battery and USB charger), then this battery is perfect for charging an additional wireless controller. As opposed to using rechargeable batteries and having the expense of replacing these every so often, one of these can be acquired for about £10. When charged using the aforementioned USB charger, you will get around 25 hours of gameplay before it requires another charge. Again just to stress, this battery will not be functional if you do not own or have not before purchased the play and charge kit. If you currently use wireless controllers and charge them using standard batteries, you will first need to buy the play and charge kit which contains one battery, then one of these batteries for each additional controller requiring it! ...The Energizer batteries I am writing about are Energizer Ultra Plus. AA, 8 pack. Unlike other batteries these are durable and very strong. I have used these in my digi cam and unlike other batteries that are eaten up very quickly they have lasted. These batteries were on offer for £2.99 which is cheaper than Duracell and they really are in competition with Duracell. To date I have never found a battery that could even compare let alone compete with Duracell, but Energizer batteries definately do compete. ...The Battery Factory sells all sorts of batteries for a fraction of the price of many highstreet retailers. Everything from AA battery to calculator batteries, and camera battereis is for sale, and there are great savings. You can order on line and the delivery usually takes three to four days at most. The only problem that I have expereienced has been the fact that they got me order wrong first time round, but that being said, they did correct it and send me some AA batteries as an apology. ...Everyone owns something which requires batteries. They always run out at awqward times and cost you a ton of money. Then people look at rechargeables and if they dont look at the right ones, they loose out on battery time or could even cause damage to the product. This uniros set is definately good value for mony. Looking around you can pay this much for a charger by itself and half as much for a good set of rechargeable batteries. Ont he charger itself there's an easy to see green/red LED telling you when the charge is complete. This can be easily seen and prevents confusion. ...Get batteries that last, get POWERLIFE from Philips, they are brilliant and last much longer then any other batteries I have ever bought. I use a lot of batteries at home in various appliances and have tried most makes of batteries, some have been good and some bad. Up until now Duracel seemed to be the longest lasting but they were expensive. No I have found PowerLife batteries that is all I will buy. The pack claims that they can last up to twice as long as Duracel and in my experience they certainly do, sometimes they last even longer. They are particularly brilliant in power hungry appliances like CD Walkmans, pocket TV's and the like. Price wise they are cheaper than Duracel and really do last twice as long.... Read review

...This lithium ion battery offers a long lasting video recording time for your cam recorder . It has the looks , the shape and the price as all other batteries and it is easy to use , just put it in the place for battery like the sketch shows on the camcorder . It is better and more of a high quality then the one that comes with the camera . Also by recycling it you can save the surronding enviroment . I reccomend also buying a new charger for the battery , because in my case the one that came with the cam recorder has let me down after two weeks from when i bought the camera. it just didn't want to charge the battery. what else should is say... it is just a normal battery... I have a sharp calculator and a few days ago the battery went dead. So I went out to the local market and bought one. The actual battery is small in size, only 20mm in diameter and 3.2mm in height. The battery is clearly marked positive (+) and negative (-). Even for any reason its not marked or you cant see it very well, negative (-) is the ring side and positive (+) is the flat side. ...I was shopping in Robert Dyas and purchased 12 Energizer Ultra Plus batteries, on special offer, this was before Christmas. I've used other brands of batteries before notably everready, duracell and various shops own brands and rate duracell the best out of all of them. This was the first time I was going to put energizer batteries into my appliances, in particular my digital camera which eats batteries. So far the batteries have performed extremely well, the digital camera used extensively over the festive period is still on the same energizer ultra batteries and the portable CD player has'nt quite managed to devour all their power yet.
