Advantages: tasty addition to stews and cassorole Disadvantages: maybe to strong for your taste
...Bay is an everygreen herb which grows like a shrub, it can be grown in open spaces or in tubs.
The flowers of the bay are yellow and it will flower in may.
The best way to get a bay plant is to buy one from a garden centre for around 99p depending on the size. I also like to get my herbs from bootsales where you can pick them up from 25p so saves money.
When your bay plant is well established in the pot re-plant it outside. It likes to be in a sunny but shaded place in the garden.
They may die off in the winter but should throw new shoots during the following spring.
Bay is a native to the east mediterranean but have been grown in europe for years. They are a very popular herb to grow in your herb garden as they have a good use in cookery. You can use the leaves dried or fresh.
Bay leaves have a very strong aromatic...

Review of Bay
Advantages: Accessible, attractive, atmospheric Disadvantages: Covers too small an area
...As you walk west towards the sunset along the beach at Le Crotoy, the rattle of shingle soon gives way to the soft crunch of seashells in the sand beneath your feet. Before long you are away from the town and the only other sound to be heard is from out in the estuary, a mixed chorus of gulls, geese and sandpipers. They rise and fall in flurries amid the creeks in the grey-green mud. Dusk descends, and a red navigation light flashes out to sea. When you turn to retrace your footsteps, a trail of luminescent dots discloses the habitations on the far side of the bay of the Somme.
* Why go, and how? *
Even the most enthusiastic advocates (like me) of overnight shopping/eating/drinking trips to France have to admit that the area around Calais and Boulogne does sometimes become a bit overrun with English visitors (like me...

Review of Bay of the Somme
Advantages: Great quality, styles and prices Disadvantages: Too cramped store
...Well the answer to my title is quite simple, um.... cash for clothes and accessories and in this case DECENT, GOOD QUALITY Bay Trading items, sorry about the dodgy title but I couldn't really think of anything else! I've only really noticed Bay Trading in my local town centre recently, I've only just started shopping there too so her goes my opinion on the shop itself.
The store itself is relatively small but have been in bigger branches, with racks down the sides of the small, thin, long store and 1 single rack all the way down the middle of the store, things can get a little cramped. When loads of people are in the tiny store all at once, things can get a litte out of hand.
Luckily the store uses the floor above it too for the changing rooms. The changing rooms are great with a big communal area and then 2 smaller changing rooms...
Advantages: Beautifully preserved and evocative Disadvantages: STEEP
...I've always wondered why Robin Hood's Bay was in North Yorkshire and not in Nottinghamshire. One explanation might be that Nottinghamshire, being landlocked, is not over-endowed with bays. Another is the sheer logistics of moving it from one county to another.
Robin Hood's Bay is around 5 miles south of Whitby, and some 15 miles north of Scarborough on the North Sea coast of North Yorks. I've researched a little, and I can find no explanation of why this place has such an interesting name - it doesn't matter anyway.
There are records dating back from 1536, apparently, of a small settlement of around 50 houses and 20 fishing boats but nothing about its namesake. Besides, the locals prefer to call it Bay Town.
There may be some tenuous connection to the 'Prince of Thieves' though. Fishing has always been the mainstay of this...
...Did you know the bay tree is a laurel ?
I did not till today. There are several species of the bay/laurel tree
Sweet Laurel (Laurus nobilis)
The sweet laurel bay laurus noblius although first found in Asia Minor and the Mediterranean has grown in Britain since thec16c.
This laurus nobilius grows as a small tree about to about 25 foot, in warm countries it will grow taller.
This tree has a smooth bark. It is an evergreen, the leaves a narrow oval pointed shape (lanceolate) they are thick and smooth a shiny green. The flowers are small and yellow the fruit black with a single seed.
The leaves are dried and stored for use.
Bay leaves can be used in cookery flavouring soups, stews, fish, and pickles.
The flavour is quite bitter,
If you buy dried bay leaves they might not be this plant but the American California bay...

Review of Bay
Advantages: Great beaches and surf Disadvantages: Expensive
...Beach Bum in Byron
Byron Bay is situated on the East Coast of Australia in New South Wales. Byron Bay is a relaxing retreat with gorgeous beaches for sun bathing and surfing, a hippy vibe with lots of alternative health shops and therapies, a party atmosphere with great bars and often music festivals, it really has something for everyone.
Things to do:
Byron Bay Lighthouse - This is must do while in Byron Bay, the lighthouse walk is well worth the effort with amazing costal views and in the right season whale spotting can be done from the top.
I have been informed that this season over 200 whales where spotted in Byron Bay in the first 3 days of migration.
I highly recommend the Sun Rise walk, about 5am you can head up to the Light House and watch the amazing sight of the sun coming up over the most beautiful scenery...

Review of Byron Bay Break
Advantages: Good prices Disadvantages: a bit of a mess
...Bay Trading was not a shop I used until a few years ago. It is one of the only shops in the area that I live in that has clothes that I like at affordable price!! Which I think is hard to find! Each time I go in I normally end up buying something!
Bay Stocks a range of clothes tops, and trousers mainly. I think that the selection is of a wide range, but I think it could be better. In the summer months there is a wide range of bikinis at mainly £10 each- complete bargain! I normally manage to find what I?m looking for, however the smaller sizes tend to sell out quickly as in other shops.
What they don't sell is underwear. I think it would be good if they did. It would be a great sure success, but there is always Topshop in the meantime!
The sales are brilliant if you are size 14+ because that what is left in all the sales! As I...

Review of Bay Trading (Shop)
Advantages: it's ordinary Disadvantages: nothing more
...Just before Christmas I acquired some gift vouchers of Bay. It’s not somewhere I’d normally shop, but what ever I bought would, in effect, be free, I decided to give it a go.
~~ The Shops ~~
Bay is a nationwide chain of shops selling clothes and accessories for women who I would say are usually 14 to 30 years old. Years and years ago there used to be quite a few of these scattered up and down the country. Since then quite a significant number have closed down, although you’ll still find them in most large shopping centers and on some high streets. At present they don’t have a website in full working order, although I imagine that www.baytrading.co.uk could have something to do with them when it finishes being “under construction”.
They also have concession stands in certain Department...

Review of Bay Trading (Shop)
Advantages: Lots to do, reasonably priced holiday, excellent staff Disadvantages: The hill
...pestered you into buying tickets for. When Bourne Leisure took them over it seemed that the things we loved about Haven were all evaporating slowly but surely and when some of the staff at one Haven site mentioned that Park Resorts had kept the old style that had once made Haven great, we decided to give them a try.
***The Location***
We love Devon and Cornwall, so when we saw the Bideford Bay site in the brochure, it wasn't difficult to decide that this was the one to try. The site itself isn't actually situated in Bideford, but is about 9 miles down the coast and the main gates to the site can be found in a lovely little place called Bucks Cross.
There isn't an easy way down to the beach from the site but nearby you can find some fantastic beaches at Westward Ho and Bude, as well as some lovely surfer dudes too. I have to admit...
Advantages: Low prices, good variety, variety of styles and sizes Disadvantages: Lack of accessories
...Bored of Topshop?s high prices? Find that Dorothy Perkins just isn?t as up-to-date as you?d like? Try Bay Trading.
Having lived in Weymouth for the majority of my life, I turned that age where the clothes I bought really seemed to matter! Every girl has a phase where shopping in the average shops and wearing what mummy approves of begins to become tedious. Then all of a sudden Bay appears like a shining light - a shop which sold such a variety of clothes that even my mother was insisting we go there!
Whether you?re in your early teens or advancing through the years, Bay has both the variety of style alongside the dress sizes. I believe the smallest size is an 8 and I have seen sizes 20+. I find this to be brilliant that Bay have created a shopping opportunity for any size, and encourage other shops to follow this...
