...2nd up in the Friday night Film Fest was The Day After Tomorrow. I love disaster movies and imagined this on the same footing as Independence Day and Armageddon. I was a bit disappointed with this though as the focus was more on how many special effects they could fit in rather than the storyline. however for what it was, it was pretty enjoyable and left us debating how we would survive if a similar catastrophe was to occur anytime soon. We came to the conclusion that we would probably be completely screwed as we allegedly have double glazing but the temperature in my house frequently falls below the outside temp and we have a chimney that is big enough to fit 3 Santas down. Clinique After Sun with Aloe - Don't be a lobster!

Advantages: Really cools down skin, stops flaking
Disadvantages: A tad expensive, but worth it!

...I bought this after sun in duty free whilst going on holiday. I also bought the sun lotion to match! As I am really bad at packing it was my fault for leaving my other sun lotions at home and I had to shell out for expensive sun cream and after sun at the airport, but at the same time it is nice having the Clinique fancy stuff! My skin is really sensitive so I have to be really careful in the sun and make sure that I apply lots of sun cream, sometimes though, as hard as I try not to, I do get burnt. Because of this I need a good after sun lotion to use. I really like this after sun. I found that with the added aloe vera in it, it really cools down my skin instantly which is really what I look for in an aftersun. Not really Lots of people I know have complained to me that this film doesn't really have a great plot, but correct if I am wrong in that this is the sort of film that DOESN'T have a great plot; it's not Shakespeare or Tolstoy but rather it's big Hollywood with stunning, ground breaking visual effects that must be seen at the cinema to be believed, a good looking cast with a love story between two of the young leads. ...Nestle After Eights are so so good. These are a national institution and are mandatory in our house at Christmas time. For anybody that doesn't know these they are wafer thin dark chocolates with a mint sticky cream in the middle. And the combination of the two together works brilliantly. They are square about 3cm x 3cm and they come in a long box and each delicious one is in its own dark envelope. The dark chocolate seems to be very high quality and melts really quickly as they are so thin. When they melt in your mouth the mint and dark chocolate just mix in together. As the name says they are meant to be eaten after 8 o'clock at night or after dinner and they are perfect when you have had a really nice dinner and just want something small and sweet.
