...I feel that I must write a review in defence of Goldtrail Holiays, even though I do have one grievance against them. I booked a trip to Marmaris via Bodrum Airport with Goldtrail from 12/07/06 - 19/07/06. I was a little wary as I had never been to Turkey (except a day trip to Bodrum from Kos) and I had never heard of Goldtrail. The holiday was Our choice - Marmaris, which meant allocation on arrival. We arrived at Bodrum airport at 15:50 and were on the coach and making our way to Marmaris by 16:30. We had a comfort break half way for about 20 minutes as it is a 2 and a half hour transfer. We eventually arrived at our destination 'Marmaris Beach Hotel' situated behind Natalies Steakhouse 2 at around 19:15. ...any money you bring should be kept with you in a safe and secure place, a big tourists hot spot like the beach can also be an opportunistic place for people to take your belongings, its never happened to me but its worth being cautious. The beach is a great place to come and visit and surely enough cannot be missed. The beach is completely transformed during the Christmas and New Year period along with Australia Day. Drinking alcohol is prohibited on the beach, however during these public holidays their seems to be a less caution about it, and most police officers tend to turn the other way as longs as you are not causing any trouble. During Australia day, the local music station has loudspeakers around the beach playing the top 40 countdown, and it really gives you a party style environment. Advantages: Sensual guitar solos's ; Good lyrical craftsmanship ; A good folk rock offering
Disadvantages: Some may find certain songs depressing ; Not as good as Young's pervious three iconic albums ; Not much in the way of linear notes

A Real Peach of a Beach!!

Advantages: Nice sweet film, romantic comedy
Disadvantages: Not the best romantic comedy I have seen, some may find it too sickly sweet!

Kololi Beach Club and surround

Advantages: Great place.
Disadvantages: Watch for how you part with your cash.

...I have stayed at this hotel now on two occasions and would go again any time. Its a pretty basic hotel but comfortable and the staff are very friendly and take great pride in there work, especially it has to be said, the cleaning staff. Mind you, the pool cleaner does seem to take an age as well, wonder if he is on an hourly rate? Definately would advise hiring a fridge for your room from the hotel. My only bad thing to say about the hotel is the driveway. Not bad at first but it is quite a trek after a few days. Access to the beach is straight off the hotel grounds. Not so many bumsters this year.( A quick guide to them after ). I've always found the weather to be great in November/December. Hot during the day and comfortable at night. As for Kololi. The restauarants basically are selling the same deal in food or drink...

Freshwater an ideal holiday for kids.

Advantages: Two outdoor pools, next to the beach, lots of security persons on patrol.
Disadvantages: Small club, expensive bar, chip shop is a no go.

...Me and my husband, two kids and my sons friend have just come back from a weeks camping break at Freshwater Beach Holiday Park. 3/08/03 -10/8/03. This is our first visit and I found this holiday park on the internet web address www.fbhp.co.uk. It is in a place called Burton Bradstock which is 2 1/2 miles from a town called Bridport in West Dorset. It cost £25 a night for our pitch for a maximum of 6 people. We had no electric hookup just the pitch. The park caters for touring caravans, campers and has it own caravans to hire out, but they I believe are very costly. Are pitch was on a secluded area at the back of the park. It was a tier of three roads with pitches on both sides of each tier. I think roughly each tier had 40 pitches. This is a film that I saw when it came out, at the cinema I believe, I have seen it once since then, and I watched it again just a few weeks ago. ...Bondi Beach is one of Australia's most famous beaches, located in Sydney it is a huge tourist destination. Bondo or 'Boondi' is an Aboriganal name meaning 'Water breaking over rocks' or 'noise of water breaking over rocks' It is a 1 kilometre stretch of lovely sandy beach but not as tranquil as I would have liked, in fact it was over crowded with holiday makers and a squeeze to find a spot to sunbathe. I would highly recommend the Coogee to Bondi Beach walk, this is great day out and a chance to experience some of the smaller beaches along the way. The Bondi Market is worth a visit, held each Sunday 10am 5pm, Bondi also offers a varity of coffee shops and eating places.
