Director Garry Marshall's 1988 drama Beaches about the 30-year friendship between two women, one wealthy (Barbara Hershey) and the other (Bette Midler) seeking her fortune in show business, is well written (based on the novel by Iris Rainer Dart) and nicely textured in its contrast between the characters' separate destinies. When Hershey becomes ill with cancer, the film takes a predictably sentimental course, yet Marshall brings out the best in both actresses and catches some very fine drama. Magical Marmaris
Advantages: Cheap - Variety - Sun - THE LIST GOES ON
Disadvantages: Comming home!!
...I could really write about Marmaris telling you about every detail and youd still be sitting here until tomorrow morning!!
I'll try not to get too excited when im imagining myself lying on the beach or out shopping around and give you a good idea of what a holiday in Marmaris has to offer you.

Icmeler Beach
Advantages: Relaxing in the mediterranean sun
Disadvantages: Only get 2 weeks a year
...of getting in the way of the activities that you can do - para-sailing, crayzee ringos, pedalos, boat trips. The sea is normally calm and excellent for swimmers of all standards with nice shallow water close to the beach but the further out it gets very deep very quickly. You can always hop on the water taxi to Marmaris for a day out or go on one of the orgasised boat trips that are readily available...
