...I am a complete coffee addict, I admit it. I can't function until I have had my caffine fix of the day. I drink my coffee stong,black and unweetened - because of this I like good coffee and it is one product that I will not economise on. Over my married life ( 38 years of it) I have had all sorts of coffee machines in my quest for a good cup of coffee, not just one that smells good when you walk in the kitchen but also tastes as good as it smells. I have had caffetieres, traditional expressom makers that you heat on the hob, an all singing and dancing cappuchino and espresso maker and umpteen different filter coffee machines. But I never did find the Holy Grail of coffee machines - the tatse wasn't quite right, or they were very difficult to clean or I ended up with a jug of stewed, bitter coffee. Senseo Coffee Maker

...My husband bought me the Senseo coffee maker for a Christmas present 2006, I must say it was one of the best things he has ever bought me.I love my coffee and have used it most days and more than once a day since. It is still going strong! The Senseo doesn't have all the fancy bits to it that other coffee machines do, but it makes a nice cup of coffee and is very easy to use. The coffee comes out hot, but not boiling (my mum was never impressed with it when she came over as she likes her coffees scolding). I have occasionally had trouble with leaks, but not very often. All in all, I like it. Its a good price and makes nice coffee, itt is also easy to clean, which is another bonus for me. ₪ Bucking the Star Coffee Bean ₪

Advantages: Smells great, tastes great, perfect finish. Home brew cafe style.
Disadvantages: Caffeine addiction is a terrible thing.

The coffee has a lovely flavour which is described by Starbucks as nutty and fruity. Smelling the coffee, it is exactly that, nutty first and then a touch of fruitiness, a tad citrussy. The aftertaste is great, not at all bitter. It is not an exceptionally strong coffee but it has plenty of flavour. As Pete the coffee expert said, the finish is just about perfect. This coffee is ideal for Americano (without milk) but it is also delicious with milk. I warm my milk up first in the microwave. Recommend? This coffee is my favourite for home brewing. It saves me a fortune as I'd happily visit the local Starbucks on a daily basis and at £1.80 for a tall latte...

For starters the tub is coffee coloured , on the front is a steaming hot mug of coffee that looks inviting and the steam rises from the mouth of the white china mug to form a heart shape. Nestle have put their logo and the product name right inside of that steamy heart. The cardboard tub has a light golden plastic lid that just pulls off and inside there is a layer of foil that has been put there to keep the Coffeemate fresh until you start to use it. So what sets Coffeemate apart from ordinary whitening agents. I always have a can of Marvel in my cupboard, when it is reconstituted it is brilliant for sauce recipes and I also need Marvel to use in my bread maker. But if you put it into a cup of coffee it does just whiten the coffee and no more, its far more bearable...

I recommend you to buy medium roasted beans that is called French roast (Italian is the well roasted which makes you feel your coffee stronger and Viennese is the light roasted coffee). My favourite is the coffee of Kenya, but you should try coffee beans from other countries to find your favourite. So put a cup off coffee beans into the grinder (on the right), then fresh water in the container on the left. ...We won tickets to the BBC Good Homes exhibition at the NEC in May, we ended up buying a Staffordshire Garden Furniture Pagoda and a Phillips Senseo Coffee Maker. Unlike the Pagoda we took the coffee maker home! My wife is the coffee lover - I personally do not like coffee at all. We got it for the show price with free coffee pods and mugs for £40. It is blue and stylish and just over 1 foot high. It uses coffee pods rather than granuals, these if you like are coffee bags. Usage is very easy, the pods go in a holder under the lid, the reservoir at the back holds enough water for 5 or 6 cups. Normal usage is wait to boil with the correct pods, put the cups under the spout and press the correct button for the number of pods (one pod button and a two pod button) To make a mug of coffee my wife uses 1 decaf. pod...

...I recently received a free sample to try of the fresh ground coffee in one cup bags. It is a convenient way of making a cup or mug of fresh ground coffee. They are made in the same way as you would make a cup of tea via the bag in a cup method. The instructions that are provided on the pack are that you place the bag in the mug. Pour on freshly boiled water and leave for 3 to 5 minutes. Adjust this time according to taste. Remove the bag and serve. You can serve with or without milk, with or without sugar. The bag itself is about twice the size of a tea bag and is round in shape. It contains 7g of ground coffee. The coffee used is a blend of both arabica and robusta beans.
