Advantages: None that I can think of
Disadvantages: Expensive and over-rated

...I was given a tube of this 'wonder cream' as a Christmas present from my in-laws just last Christmas. It sat inside my dressing table drawer until about three weeks ago, still in its original box/packaging etc, unused. I don't know why it's taken me so long to open the box and read the 'instructions leaflet' and actually use the stuff - maybe I was having a 'premonition' about it?? I have to say, Clairins Beauty Flash Balm, or, as it states in the French (also on the packaging/tube) "Baume Beaute Eclair" has been probably THE most disappointing beauty product I have used, EVER!! I've used a lot during my years, but this stuff does not live up to the hype, so don't waste your money. MY LITTLE BEAUTY

Advantages: Instantaneous results, youthful, radiant, vibrant skin
Disadvantages: The price and perhaps the packaging

...Until very recently I'd never tried a single Clarin's product and until even more recently I didn't believe that beauty products really could work miracles. So what has caused the cynic in me to disappear? My in laws gave me a birthday present that is a pretty little pink box containing a number of Clarin's trial size products. Understanding A Beautiful Mind.

Advantages: An excellent award winning drama, based on a true story.
Disadvantages: None!

...A friend of mine had been ranting on about how she wanted to try this product. I had seen it on a daytime TV programme as a 'wonder-cure' to make you look like you've had 8 hours sleep. On a shopping trip, there was an offer where you buy 2 Clarin's products and get some other trial-sized goods for free (many many department stores so this). So we bought one each and split the freebies. I had hoped that it would be wonderful and transform my face? however it did not go that far. It did give me a healthy glow when I wore it under my make-up and my make-up did last longer. So it lives up to that claim. ...Firstly i have to say I LOVE this purfume with a passion! I have been using Chanels Coco Mademoiselle daily for a couple of years now and i never tire of this lovely fresh, feminine fragrance. My skin has never had a reaction to this fragrance which has often happened with other purfumes producing rashes which is probably due to the high quality that comes undoubtidly with Chanels name and stature. I would have to say it would be wise to try this purfume a few times on your self before buying it on someones reconmendation as it smells distincively different on certain people. As all purfumes it is just a matter of suiting a particular person. But in general it is beautiful to wear and stays evident and distinctive all day....
