MY LITTLE BEAUTY

...Until very recently I'd never tried a single Clarin's product and until even more recently I didn't believe that beauty products really could work miracles. So what has caused the cynic in me to disappear? My in laws gave me a birthday present that is a pretty little pink box containing a number of Clarin's trial size products. It was in this little box that my miracle beauty product lurked, untried and untested by myself until about two weeks ago, largely because I hadn't bothered to read the leaflet and wasn't quite sure what it was for. My Convenient Amirose Beauty Trimmer

Advantages: Great for persons with sensitive skin, it is very convenient.
Disadvantages: Having to buy batteries to use it

...I know there is alot of women who have sensitive skin like me, and you cannot shave, wax, pluck everywhere on your body because it will result in irritation, bumps and ingrow hairs all of these are very umcomfortable and itchy to say the least but we put up with this in the name of beauty and making ourselves look more appealing because we just want to look good. With having sensitive skin I was very skepitcal about using the trimmer because I thought it would be similar to shaving, but I was wrong you cannot cut your skin with this. Not quite a bunch of roses : Cadbury's Roses

Advantages: Nice chocolate, a couple of good fillings
Disadvantages: Lack of variety of fillings, lots of old flavours are now missing

...) This is a square-shaped sweet with an embossed image of an orange on the top. The chocolate, when bitten into, is beautifully thick and creamy. Inside, there is a delicious burst of orange flavoured goo, that is both sweet and tangy simultaneously. I'd say this is the most authentic tasting chocolate in the box, and up there taking possibly 3rd place in my favourites. I could eat a whole box of these, too. ....... 10/10 All in all, this wasn't a bad selection of chocolates. I must be very careful here not to get my memory of how they used to be mixed up with Quality Street (I haven't had those for many years either). Beauty Flash Bum!

Advantages: None that I can think of
Disadvantages: Expensive and over-rated

...I was given a tube of this 'wonder cream' as a Christmas present from my in-laws just last Christmas. It sat inside my dressing table drawer until about three weeks ago, still in its original box/packaging etc, unused. I don't know why it's taken me so long to open the box and read the 'instructions leaflet' and actually use the stuff - maybe I was having a 'premonition' about it?? I have to say, Clairins Beauty Flash Balm, or, as it states in the French (also on the packaging/tube) "Baume Beaute Eclair" has been probably THE most disappointing beauty product I have used, EVER!! I've used a lot during my years, but this stuff does not live up to the hype, so don't waste your money. Why are they called Roses?

...Before Christmas several shops had offers for tins of chocolates and I bought a big tin of Cadbury Roses. We are still digging into them but I have sampled them all, even the ones I dislike! My tin contained 1.05kg, I do wish I had counted how many chocolates were in the tin, but on second thoughts I don't want to know how many we have consumed although they have been shared with friends and family! Best before date is April 2009, I was surprised to see the contents are stamped on the base although different chocolates could be replaced if necessary. There is information on the makers Cadbury Trebor Bassett and contact details, if you need to complain.
