The areas that I will cover are, how to design gardens to incorporate roses, the preparation of the soil and the physical planting of roses and the routine care required for rose growing. Price and Availability Speaking of getting your money's worth...the Bourjois Khôl & Contour eye-liner pencil retails at £4.20 at Boots. However, getting your hand on the Rose Fantaisiste shade could prove tricky, since it's not available on the Boots website. I can't say whether or not it is still available in store, as I haven't had any reason to look out for it since I bought it. I've had mine for over a year now and it's still going strong. If you're interested in other shades, the Boots website has 7 different shades (albeit it two different black shades and their new, double-ended black and white Khôl Contour pencil). My Convenient Amirose Beauty Trimmer

Advantages: Great for persons with sensitive skin, it is very convenient.
Disadvantages: Having to buy batteries to use it

...I know there is alot of women who have sensitive skin like me, and you cannot shave, wax, pluck everywhere on your body because it will result in irritation, bumps and ingrow hairs all of these are very umcomfortable and itchy to say the least but we put up with this in the name of beauty and making ourselves look more appealing because we just want to look good. With having sensitive skin I was very skepitcal about using the trimmer because I thought it would be similar to shaving, but I was wrong you cannot cut your skin with this. Why are they called Roses?

Advantages: Lovely cadbury chocolate
Disadvantages: Centres not as good as they used to be.

...Before Christmas several shops had offers for tins of chocolates and I bought a big tin of Cadbury Roses. We are still digging into them but I have sampled them all, even the ones I dislike! My tin contained 1.05kg, I do wish I had counted how many chocolates were in the tin, but on second thoughts I don't want to know how many we have consumed although they have been shared with friends and family! Best before date is April 2009, I was surprised to see the contents are stamped on the base although different chocolates could be replaced if necessary. There is information on the makers Cadbury Trebor Bassett and contact details, if you need to complain. Although it does say there could be a white bloom if the chocolates have been left in the sun or exposed to heat, which is harmless. There is a list of ingredients and a note that Soya...

Beautiful tiny tight rose like petals

Advantages: easy to grow in most places, cheap and pretty

...I love Rock Roses as it is one of the first alpine plants that I ever bought (and is still alive) which is a miracle for me. I choose Rock Rose as it is one of my favourites, easily available in garden centres/nurseries and like most alpines cost about £1.45 each. The Rock roses that I have in my rockery have quite long twiggy stems that grow upright and then bend over. In the spring the leaves on mine go paler but brighter and the little buds appear and the flower gradually start to appear. I have a bright magenta and a pale creamy yellow. I can't tell you the proper species name, I just know them as rock roses. They grow in quite shady places, like between stones, cracks, crevices, but will tolerate quite a lot of sun. These plants are quite thirsty in the summer too, so water well. They don't particularly smell, but...

Purple Roses (!)

Advantages: Wonderful tale of cinematic fantasy

...it over and over, with the enjoyment and contentment etched all over her face and magically caught in her eyes through the flicker of the light from the big screen. After what must be 20 + visits to watch "The Purple Rose of Cairo", the object of Cecelia's affection, Tom Baxter, speaks to her from the screen! Transfixed by her he speaks out and states "? You must really like this movie?" to which Cecelia doesn't appear overly astonished at the occurrence. Tom exits the picture and enters the real world absconding with Cecelia, much to the dissatisfaction and irritation of his co-stars, who later demonstrate and epitomise the beauty of this skilfully crafted script. Tom's co-stars are the source of interest and the movie within the movie is as interesting as the movie itself, as the characters provide a number of entertaining...

...Every now and then, my dear mum decides to treat us. Whether its on a day out, a trip to the cinema or a special meal for tea, she usually makes a big effot at least once every two to three weeks. I love these times, when me, my mum and two younger brothers go out for a posh meal to a big fancy restuarant or we drive 3 hours to a theme park and spend the night in a hotel.
