We live in a 4 bedroom house, and originally, there was the Master room for mum, then a bedroom for my sister, and me and my two brothers shared the next room, leaving another free. Jaimie then moved out, leaving her room free, and Robert moved into the previously spare room. Liam and I then shared rooms. That was back in 1994 or something, and we kept sharing from then on. Eventually, however, it got to the point where we were a bit too old to be sharing a room, and so I kicked Liam out into the spare room, where he slept on a sofa. That was about 2006, and things were fine. I took apart the bunkbeds, and had one, while he was content with the settee. The first thing on our lists of needed things, was a new bed. Liam needed a bed point blank, and I wanted to get a double bed...

  The Complete Bed

...these things called Ready Beds and they were easily stored and easy to use, so we thought this would be a good idea. I think the only thing we was slightly concerned about was the size because of the limited space that we have in Ben's room as it is like being Toys R Us, but we thought we would have a look around and see what we could find. We had a look through the Argos catalogue and found they had what we were looking for so we went to our local store to purchase one but I couldn't believe it when they told me they were out of stock, what was going on, a mad rush on Ready Beds due to sleep-over's or what?? I text a few other stores that were local to me to see if they had them in stock, but unfortunately they didn't have it, so I think it was going to be the case that the child minder would have to suffer another night on the sofa...

Beds.... Eventually

...I ordered a bed from Bensons in Horwich back in February of this year, when I initially placed the order I was living in Harrogate in staff accomodation, I had spoken to my temp manager and she was OK with me having my own bed and as my room was large enough for a double I decided thats what I would go for. But due to the leave dates for the job I had the earliest I could get it delivered was going to be the 19th March almost 6 weeks away. But the deal I was getting was very good and I was in no real hurry. So I paid my deposit and waited. Then as mentioned in other places I was transferred from Harrogate to Lydd and obviously delievery to North Yorkshire was no good when I was living in Kent, so I called them as firstly asked if I could cancel the order but was told politely but firmly that it wouldn't be possible as my contract...

...My son received on of these for Christmas from a friend of mine. She said it would become a practical present and oh my it has been. The design The design on our one is of In the night garden every childs favorite at the moment I think, Although I do believe they come in different choices, such as Fifi, Thomas the tank, Noddy, Dora and various other characters. My first ready bed has been very well designed it has a built in headboard designed for extra comfort, safety bolsters either side designed so the little un cant roll out, has an air filled mattress and a removable cover which is machine washable at 30 degrees. To inflates the bed is simple as it comes with its own foot pump, and believe me it only takes 4-5 mins to inflate. Deflation takes a little longer but is simple to do just roll the bed and make the air come out...

Dear Room

Advantages: honest and thought provoking.
Disadvantages: some work maybe seen as to short.

...the way through to show the author recolecting his experiences as a child going around china and japan. Number thirteen is 'The Crazy Room' and looks at a room being turned completly upside down and the strange goings on. Forteeen is 'Pieces of Sky', rather short but nice none the less. Fifhteen is 'What's Keeping Me' and is in the mind of someone waiting for the other to come to bed. Sixteen is 'In Your Sleep' and is about watching a partner next to you in bed and watching them as they sleep, it's abit creepy i do have to say! Seventeen is 'Ink' and is about the observations of a loved ones face. eighteen is 'Playing Safe' and is about a relationship possibly coming to an end. Nineteen is called 'The Words' and is a heartwarming, smile provoking and quite humourous look at the ups and downs of a relationship and the whims of both sides...

My First Bed

Disadvantages: it's not big enough if you have to lie beside them!

...instead of the cot! We also bought a IKEA cot duvet and duvet cover and pillow! This worked out at around £20 for it all! The duvet fitted perfectly on the bed! The matress was confusing! There is a smallish mattress like a cot one, and the 2 pillow sized one which when the bed extends, make the bigger mattress! You can buy sheets for the bed out of IKEA too, but I didn't realise that at first! The test came when putting dd to bed. She needed a little help to climb over the rail which is nicely position at one side of the bed so that they don't fall out and it can be removed! We removed ours after about 6 months as she was more than capable of sleeping with out falling out! There was plenty room in the bed for her and we could happily sit on the floor for her bedtime story. The only problem was in the middle of the night when she...

My First Ready Bed - what a fab product!

...My daughter recently grew out of her Samsonite Pop Up Bubble Travel Cot (which I have also reviewed) and we decided that, as she had moved from a cot into a 'Big Girl's Bed' in her room, it was time to make the move with our travel sleeping arrangements as well. We thought about just letting her go in a standard bed, but felt that as she was in a junior bed at home (which is only 90 cm off the ground) it would be a bit much to expect her to cope with potentially falling from such a great height when she is meant to be enjoying her holidays! So we looked around and found surprisingly little available. There are some roll out foam beds, some futon mattress style ones and the rest are just sleeping bags to go on top of standard beds to keep the child all tucked in. We didn't really like any of these options, so were really pleased...

.... - The Content - As the title suggests, this is all about the routine involved for Sam and most children before going to bed. It begins with 'When it's time for bed, there's lots for us to do'.
