High quality bedside or stand-alone cot

She never liked sleeping in her moses basket so the result was that she slept in our bed which wasn't particularly comfortable for any of us! The Cosatto Olivia bedside cot attracted us as you can completely remove one side of the cot, so you can pull the cot right up to the side of your bed. It is suitable for babies from birth. HENSVIK changing table/cabinet - Great idea!

Advantages: Double use as a cabinet and baby changing table, inexpensive, easy to assemble
Disadvantages: Flaking paint on the changing table after a while

...I bought the Hensvik changing table/cabinet designed by Carina Bengs a couple of years ago from IKEA for £85. I was expecting my second baby and loved the idea of the double use in this piece of furniture. First, it can be used as a changing table for your baby and when one is no longer required, the changing shelf can be removed and a second book shelf can be easily fitted into a slot above and there you go: you have a lovely looking book cabinet. The assembly was fairly simple. The instructions came in true IKEA style with pictures but the assembly was easily manageable with those. The Allen key and all screws were included, so you can unwrap, assemble and use. Advantages: One of those "greatest film ever" regulars, and with good reason.
Disadvantages: None.

Perfect for a bedside radio

...I treated myself to one of these at Christmas, and four months in i'm still happy with it. I accept that it might not suit everyone but for what I wanted it for it's just perfect. The Pure Chronos iDock in white cost me £78 in December. A sum which I was very pleased with considering that for most DAB radios you are looking at £100+. So to find one small enough to fit on my bedside table, in an attractive colour complete with iPod dock was just too tempting. I had a DAB radio before with a cd player and speakers - Goodmans i think - but the DAB radio was of terrible quality. I really struggled to get stations most of the time so it wasn't a struggle for me to freecycle that one and to treat myself to a brand spanking new one from Amazon as a little Merry Christmas token from me... to me. Sound Quality Now i'd read reviews...
