Beechams Decongestant Plus with Paracetamol for: Nasal Congestion Sinus Pain & Nasal Catarrh Can also be used for the symptoms of colds, flu, chills and feverishness, relief of headache, migraine, sore throat, neuralgia, toothache, period pain, aches and pains and rheumatic pain. Beechams Decongestant Plus with Paracetamol are for the short-term relief of the symptoms of flu, chills and colds including feverish colds and the symptoms of nasal congestion, sinusitis and its associated pain and acute nasal catarrh. Also may be used for the relief of headache, migraine, sore throat pain, neuralgia, toothache, rheumatic pain, aches and pains and period pain. Check before you take this medicine. Do not take with any other paracetamol containing products. Do not take with other products for the relief of flu, colds or congestion. Do not take Beechams Decongestant Plus with Paracetamol if: You are allergic to paracetamol, caffeine, phenylephrine Hydrochloride or any of the other ingredients listed. Colours E110 and E123 can cause allergic-type reactions including asthma. Allergy is more common in those people allergic to aspirin. You have kidney or liver problems, overactive thyroid, diabetes or are under the care of your doctor for high blood pressure or heart disease. You are taking drugs for heart problems (including beta-blockers) or within the last two weeks you have taken drugs prescribed by your doctor or hospital for depression, (including monoamine oxidase inhibitors or MAOIs). Talk to your doctor if: You are taking medicines to thin the blood e.g. warfarin. You are taking colestyramine which is used to lower blood cholesterol, or metoclopramide or domperidone for nausea or vomiting. Adults, elderly and children over 12 years of age: Take 1 sachet every 4 hours. No more than 4 sachets in a 24 hour period. Caution when using Beechams Ultra All In One: Do not take if you have high blood pressure, or are taking MAOI anti-depressants. Do not take with other paracetamol containing products. If you take more than the recommended dose and overdose then seek medical advice immediately even if you feel well. Keep out of reach and sight of children.
