...easy to get to. Both the fridge and freezer are easy to defrost as there is a convienent tap at the bottom to drain out any excess moisture. The fridge has 3 glass shelves along with 2 salad drawer thingys and ample storage in the door with four shelves there. You can fit just shy a hundred bottles of beer in there or around 30 bottles of wine. The freezer is seperated into 3 compartments, a drawer at the bottom one standard shelf and one shelf for rapid freezing, it is a wee bit on the small side but still as ample room for my needs in my household of 2 adults. So far there have been no problems ( 7 months ) with the unit and it comes with the standard 1 year warranty with the option to upgrade to 3 - 5 years from the manufacturer. Advantages: Great family size
Disadvantages: if your ceilings are very low ... forget it!

...you know how cold the appliance is and even has a setting if you are going on holiday and the doors wont be opened. It automatically shuts off when you get back home and open the fridge door. The fridge is definately family sized. It has a crome wine rack which is great for storing 2 lt drink bottles, wine and cans of beer! The holders on the inside of the fridge door are wide so that you can easily it in a 4 pint jug of milk. The fridge has a chiller compartment for fresh meat and salad/fruit/veg drawers which have shutters to open or close depending on what you are storing at the time. The Currys in store price was £479 but if you purchased it over the internet from thier website it had £100 off..bargin at £379. ...one or go shopping more often, or why not sell your children to medical research and have done with it. The fridge is pretty smart too with there being plenty of room for vegies in the bottom drawers, you can stick quite a few cabbages in there. There are three shelves which are perfect for storing Pizza, approximatley 4 boxes per shelf, with room at the side for storing beer, in fact the beer storing capacity is truly astounding and now that my food is in the freezer I can fill up my fridge with beer. There was something in the instruction manual about enviromental soundness and there are different temperature settings which I just keep at maximum and it is dead quiet as well. A nice fridge freezer made even better by the fact my wonderfull landlord paid for it.... Read review

Advantages: Elegant and spacious
Disadvantages: A little weak

.... The fridge also has a 40db noise level. This is very low which means it makes very little noise and disturbss nobody. Some fridges rattle and vibrate all night but not this one. As you can see the fridge is not only elegant but spacious too. Although we paid £179 for this fridge, I feel it was well worth it. We need the space, it has so many compartments there really is a place for everything. The kids can put what they want on lower shelves to enusre they can reach and we can chill a nice bottle of wine or beer out of their reach. This is a good fridge for a family. It is large enough to hold food for everyone. Anyone can use it, you just plug it in, switch the thermostat to the temperature you require and then pile in the food.... Read review

Advantages: Drinks Dispenser, Tall, Spacious, Sturdy repositionable compartments
Disadvantages: Drinks dispenser does not have filter, water line-in like American Fridges

..., my husband & I have purchased a Water Jug with a filter and keep this on the fridge door and then we pour the filtered water into the water dispenser every so often. If you as a consumer require a water filter in your water dispenser or a water line hook up, I'm afraid you have no choice but to purchase a real American fridge here in England (because of the power differences), at a price premium of £400 - £1000+ pounds premium on this model. If you do decide to purchase the Samsung Fridge Freezer SRL3928B, you'll have the convenience of a water/drinks dispenser (I see no reason why the dispenser can't be filled with juice or beer or something else since it is easy to clean), AND spacious freezer drawers, and a tall (non-college sized) fridge at a nice price. This is the trade-off. All in All I highly recommend this fridge... Read review

...is not available from pubs in bottle's because it simply does not come in them, only in can's! You will be paying around the £2.40 mark for a pint of the lovely stuff from a pub Now, there is an association with some people that find 'canned beer tastes awful' a very common saying amongst some people, but i believe the reason is canned beer's get warmer in the sun and do not cool as much as a bottled beer can, so you are not getting total enjoyment from you lovely pint. But wait there is a cure!, simply shove your 440ml can in the freezer for around half and hour (thats in my fridge, much less if youre fridge is on a high setting!) go back to the freezer look inside and you will see one cold beer, pure refreshment. Sit back, watch a bit of TV or sod the TV for once and sit back in the lovely sun in the garden have your can and glass by your side... Read review

...a regular thing on the journey and Tony keeps in contact with Gerry Ryan (The D.J) and the nation becomes gripped on following the progress of the fridge man and everyone wants to offer him a lift, free accommodation, or more often than not the odd beer!!! At the end of reading this remarkable journey I too felt like Tony and was quite sad that his travels had finished and felt like packing my ruck sack and heading over to the emerald Isles straight away with my dish washer, ironing board or any other mad household objects I could lay my hands on. :o) Well worth reading and very cheap priced at £6.99 (Pretty sure its on the 2 for a tenner offer in HMV as well)... ...OK, so after a few weeks of opinion writing on Ciao I thought it was about time I submitted a proper product op! So here goes... I love my fridge. It's clean and shiny and well stocked with yummy healthy food and a few bottles of beer. It sits proudly in the corner of my kitchen. This all might sound a bit obsessive, after all, it is just a fridge. But it's my fridge (well, mine and my husbands anyway). I lived in rented accommodation for a while, and always used the fridge provided. Then, when I bought my first flat, I was short on furniture and the like and was lucky enough to get the vendors to throw in the fridge-freezer. It wasn't bad, but it was already a bit on the worn and tatty side. ...the packaging out straight away. Unless, like me, you needed the polysterene for some coursework. This fridge really was handy! The fridge features: - 2 safety glass shelves - a translucent salad drawer - reversable door - automatic defrost - wine rack (Or beer rack, in my case.) It's specifications are: - Height 850mm - Width 500mm - Depth 600mm - Capacity 135 litres or 4.8 cubic feet. - Energy consumption: 146 kWh/year. The fridge was the perfect size to fit into an alcove under our worksurface, so we plugged it in (Not turning it on), and backed it into place. Inside there were still polysterene blocks there to stop the glass sliding around in transit, and tape holding down the egg holders and salad drawer, so I removed these. Now we were ready to go.
