...This is a review of a guitar effects pedal board. I suspect that the first thing I need to do is define what a guitar effect pedal is, and why you might need a board for it. Probably the most well known effect pedal is the Wah Wah pedal, heavily used in reggae music and by the likes of the late Mr. James Hendrix and it is a pedal that alters the note of a guitar to make it sound like WAH WAH! Other well known effects are the dubiously named Big Muff Fuzz box, which adds distortion to the sound. There are literally dozens of different effects that you can add to the chain between your guitar and the amplifier and if you have more than a couple of them it is worth thinking about getting a pedal board so that you can get them organised. UCG102 not a submarine but a gadget from Behringer

Advantages: Allows for a wide range of digital music options
Disadvantages: Fiddly to get started

...I was given this gadget for Christmas but only recently got around to setting it up on my computer. it wasn't straightforward, I had to do a lot of research to get the best out of it but once I did I was impressed by the effects I could achieve. Behringer DD400 Digital Delay , I hope you will 'Echo' my view

Advantages: Good value for money good range of effects.
Disadvantages: The plastic case seems to be not very robust, but is is quite solid

It can be powered either by a 9 volt PP3 battery or by a 9 volt mains adapter. Personally I prefer to use an AC adapter as it can be very expensive to keep replacing batteries, they are tow or three pounds each and will go flat if you forget to switch off and unplug the pedal. I bought a 1300 Milliamp adapter with a daisy chain of six power plugs which can power all my pedals, a good investment at around £15. I have now collected five Behringer pedals which give me a huge range of effects. I have been impressed by the build quality and value of these effects. I would recommend them to anyone who wants to play the electric guitar but doesn't want to fork out a fortune on the accessories...

Advantages: Great Value for money, Solidly built,

...Oh my God, I here you say, not another effects pedal review. Don't worry, there's only one more to go in my collection. As with the other pedals this one has a solid plastic moulding with a slightly awkward to open battery compartment, accessed by pushing in the pedal hinge pins and lifting it off. Much better to use an external power supply, it saves money and broken fingernails. So what does a Chorus pedal do? Well it sits in the line between the guitar and amplifier and alters the signal. Basically it is a modulating effect which adds a slight highlight and a lowlight, to create a softened, even slightly ethereal tone to the sound. Behringer VMX 300 Mixer

Advantages: BPM counter, Bass/Mid/Treble cut out/volume controls, nice and robust feel to it
Disadvantages: I cant think of any!

...I have owned this mixer for a couple of years now and it still works as well today as it did when it was new. Its a decent sized mixer and feels quite weighty and well made. The controls are nice and smooth and the cross fader is very responsive. There is a seperate control to adjust the sensitivity of the cross fader to help facilitate the users style of mixing. The mixer has 3 channels, each with 2 inputs. This allows for up to 6 pieces of kit to be attached to it. Personnaly, ive got my turntables, CD player and tape player going through it. There is also 2 outputs, one to go to the amplifier and another 'booth' output. I have connected the booth output to my PC so I can record both my mixes and also CD's or Tapes. This is great for saving them ever-fading 'old skool' tapes and burning to CD! There are 3 cut out switches...

...Behringer keep spoiling us with great quality mixers at the lowest prices compared to any other manufacturer. The VMX100 is an entry level dj mixer. it has 2 channels split for phono or line input. each channel has it own beat counter and full high, mid, low trim.. The beat counters work quite well and along with the tempo and sysc LED displays,any body can learn to mix. there is a best assist button just press this button in time with the beat at the BPM is worked out and the sysc lights will tell you which channel is too fast or too slow. the head phone mixer can play both channels at once or can be addigned to one channel or the other. the cross fader in the VMX100 is excellent useing a glide bar to stop your movements damaging it. the life cycle is estimated at 500,000 slided thats alot. after nearly a year practicising...

Made Up Stories ***** This is a brilliant start to this album and obviously is the album title. This i would say is just a taster to this album because if you listen to it you would know that the tracks just keep getting better. The vocals in this track are brilliant and it has a simple but effective bass line which i like jamming along to. So Quiet You Were **** I'm only giving this a four because nearly every other track is a five atleast. It is a brilliant track which has amazing memorizable lyrics to it and it is worth taking the time to listen to. Brake!
