Ramada Belfast
Advantages: -
Disadvantages: -
...I stayed in the Ramada Hotel in Belfast and I must say that the experiance had its flaws and its charms. I normally stay in the Hilton or the Europa in Belfast if I ever decide to stay but because of the busy Valintines Day period I was unable to book a room in either of these hotels so I then decided to book a room with the Ramada.
The price of this hotel was reasonable, at £79 a night, I think that this is a great price for a hotel of this standard because compared to the Hilton thats rooms can cost up to £125 a night for a twin room this is a great price for a Friday night, though the Travel Lodge probably would have been cheaper if you decide to go away for lesiure reasons sometimes that hotel wont cut it.
The Room I received was clean, tidy and had lots of space in it, there were two double beds and it allowed smoking (as I...

The Belfast Zoo
Advantages: Lots for people to see and do
Disadvantages: Quite hilly and wear something warm if not sunny as it is open to the elements
...The Belfast Zoo is set in the beautiful Cave hill area, from the top of the zoo there is such a view over the lough and Belfast. When you arrive at the zoo there is quite a steep approach and inside the zoo is quite hilly too which is not great for people with walking difficulties. There is an electric train which travels all the way round the zoo so you dont have to miss out. Prices our reasonable and disabled people go free.
The first things you encounter when you enter the zoo are a kids farm on the left hand side there kids can see a number of animals, donkeys, cows, goats, pigs and piglets snakes, bats, also in this area there are lemurs which run free it is wonderful for kids and adults alike.
Leave the farm and on your right there is a lake with beautiful flamingos and an island with spider monkeys, move a little further on and there is...

Belfast International Airport
Advantages: Internet, Cheap car parking
Disadvantages: Can get boring after 18 hours
...Belfast International Airport (Belfast Aiport)
I flew out of belfast airport around four years ago, when I did fly out of the airport it was a bad time to fly out. The day before we where to depart to orlando the shoe bomber came on the scene! So the airport secuirty was put up. But the airline I was travelling with most of their planes had Technical difficuilties. So I was delayed for 30 hours and had to stay in the Hilton over night. So I should be able to tell you enough about it as I was in it for 24 hours.
Area...
The Belfast airport isn't in belfast, it is closer to Antrim a city near belfast. The airport is around 12 or 13 miles away from Belfast. So I don't know why they called it Belfast International Airport. But there is a hotel beside the airport. So if you have a early flight and you coudn't be bothered to get up...

Travelodge Belfast
Advantages: Cheap, very friendly staff, great location
Disadvantages: No luggage storage, basic room
...I stayed at the Travelodge Belfast in October 2007. The reason for a trip to Belfast was a concert to which I had received free tickets. I left booking the hotel til a couple of weeks before the concert and there wasn't a great deal of choice available.
We paid £79.00 for the room, I booked it on a site where I paid 10% deposit and paid the reaminder on arrival at the hotel.
We stayed on a Monday night, we got the bus from the airport to the Europa Bus Centre which is located in the city centre. We walked the short distance to the hotel (it is basically down a street and across the road - about 2 minutes walk). We found the hotel easily and were greeted by the receptionist who was very friendly and enthusiastic about the city and the concert we were attending. We were checked in quickly with no problems. The receptionist spent...

travelodge belfast
Advantages: cheap clean rooms
Disadvantages: quite basic
...When looking for somewhere to go for my hen night (or weekend as it turned out to be) I wanted somewhere cheap not just for me but for the others as well, as most of them are on budgets too. I scowered the internet and came up with two nights including flights with a well known budget airline for £90. Bargin we said and booked it. As we were a group booking I was unable to do this on the Travelodges website so I had to phone the main reservations up. This was a simple thing to do as my call was answered very quick and rooms booked all in approximatly 5 minutes. Then everything else was done via email such as booking forms, confirmations etc.
When we got to Belfast we took a taxi to the Travelodge on first impressions it seemed fine and the recepionist was very smiley. As we arrived in the morning our rooms weren't ready so we were...

Europa Hotel Belfast
Advantages: The Surroundings
Disadvantages: The Night Time
...If you are thinking of going to Belfast then this is the place to stay. Situated in Belfast city center the Europa is a popular hotel with the tourists. The hotel is crammed with friendly staff who are always there ready to help. The food in the hotel is very nice and they also have a buffet style in the morning but if it is not what you like then you can just stroll around the corner into the center. There you will find lots of bars, nightclubs, restaurants and Irish pubs. The rooms are very modern and up to date and the whole hotel is spotless from top to bottom. If you are going to stay then make sure you bring a big wallet because the hotel can be pricey and you may also want some ear plugs for night time because around the hotel can get pretty noisy epically on weekends. All in all the hotel is probably the best in Belfast and there...

Europa Hotel Belfast
Advantages: The Location
Disadvantages: The Noise And Price
...If you are going to Belfast then you got to check out this hotel. I loved this hotel. I thought that the hotel was very modern and up to date and also it was very clean. I thought that the hotel staff were very helpful and they were always willing to give a helping hand.
The hotel is located in the very center of Belfast surrounded by clubs, pubs restaurants and there are lots of shops as well. Next door to the hotel is a bus station. I was visiting for a week and when I went into the bus station I was able to book trips to visit what the north has to offer.
My only downsides about this hotel were that it was a little bit too noisy and the price of the food and drink was high.
So if your visiting then you will really enjoy yourself but remember to bring along some ear plugs and a massive wallet....

More about Belfast
Advantages: Lots to see & do
Disadvantages: Some people
...I divide my time between Belfast and North Antrim, although for shopping, nightlife etc, Belfast is always preferable.
Belfast has received a lot of bad press in the past, although thankfully cease fires have made people want to visit this city, and the city itself has evolved a lot over the past few years. There are even 'trouble tours' if you have the desire to see some of the trouble areas.
The main development within the city in recent times was the laganside development, including office space, apartments, the lagan lookout, and also the Odyssey.
The odyssey consists of restaurants, 2 cinemas and also an indoor arena, with an ice rink, although this is covered for concerts. I tend to go to the Odyssey for a night out, as there are a wide choice of restaurants, including the Hard rock cafe, la Tasca (a Spanish restaurant...

Bopping in Belfast
Advantages: City Centre, close to night life, good room quaility
Disadvantages: No onsite car parking
...I have now stayed here twice, and have to say that on both occasions the experience was a positive one. The Holiday Inn, 22 Ormeau Avenue, Belfast, has 170 rooms and is of a very high quality in the specification.
On both occasions I was staying over as I was going out that evening in Belfast. It is a bit expensive to stay over in a hotel, but well its so nice to pamper yourself, and you don't have to worry about taxi's or making breakfast the next morning.
The cost was £108 per night with the first night a little cheaper. This was Christmas and so was dearer, I think Belfast can be more expensive though for what's a provincial/regional city. However you pretty much know what you are getting when you stay with the Holiday Inn Group, and it was a 4 star.

Going to Belfast...Then Stay here
Advantages: Lovely friendly modem hotel. Very clean and well maintained.
Disadvantages: No swimming pool or Leisure
...information according to their web site. There web address is http://www.hastingshotels.com/Hastings.asp?Page=Main&Hotel=europa
The Hotel is very handy at only a couple of minute?s walk for the excellent shopping shops that Belfast offers. There is a pub joined on to the hotel, which has a good atmosphere and reasonable priced beer at £2.50 a pint. Across the hotel are a couple more pubs, which are very friendly and lively, but did not offer a pool table so I could hammer Paddysback again!!!!
Price.
++++
I stayed in a single room but was given a double. I tried the hotel and was quoted a £135 due to the fact they were so busy with a cricket group taking over the hotel that week. Utell also offer rates via travel agents at £90 room only, but this was still outside my budget.
I then tried a company called Superbreak which again is...
