...Twenty-five minutes drive south-east of Brussels, and just south of the French-Brussels language border is the town of Wavre, on the outskirts of which is a theme park, Walibi Belgium. Originally opened in 1975 by Eric Meeus (there is a plaque in his honour just inside the gates), the park has changed names a number of times in the few years we have lived here ? Walibi, Six Flags and back to Walibi again. On part of the complex, there is Aqualibi, which is a water theme park, but since I have never been inside, this review will only deal with the park. Aqualibi is subject to a separate charge from the main park. WHAT RIDES ARE THERE? Beer, Breweries, Bars and Belgium!

Advantages: A good guide with useful info and humour.
Disadvantages: Is only his opinions.

...There are a few things that I just HAVE to pack when we go to Belgium. These are passport (can't get out of the country without it), money (beer tokens are needed for the trip!), clean underwear (well we ARE in company) and Tim Webb's Good Beer Guide Belgium. We do go to Belgium quite often and like to head off on the train to cities, towns and villages near where we are staying. ...Taking advantage of some exceptionally good travel offers from an on-line travel agent we recently spent a five-day ?City break? exploring Belgium. We had been to Brussels before (a short pre-Christmas trip about five years ago) so heeding the advice of that CIAO sage Proxam we decided to see some more of the country than just the capital. We were also quite curious to experience for ourselves the suggested ?Unity of Europe? there at the heart of the Community. Review of Brussels (Belgium)

  Perfect for the CD Collection!

Advantages: gentle, relaxing, cheap, some amazing songs
Disadvantages: It's jammed in my laptop just now :(

...I started to watch ITV lunch time show Loose Women just over a year ago. At the time, I was unaware of who any of the panellists were. Though now I know quite a bit about these fantastic women, one of which is the lovely Jane McDonald. Jane is a singer, and has had various albums released. The one I own is called 'The Collection'. The CD cover itself has a picture of Jane her self, dressed in a trendy denim jacket, her smile stretched broadly across her face. The colours behind her are beautiful; a shining shade of deep purple with a hint from silver stars. It's very attractive, definitely one to draw the attention in. The Collection has nineteen tracks on it, each listed on the back of the CD case. I scanned over them briefly before listening, finding that I had heard of some of the tracks before. My parcel wasn't collect for 9 days! Not good enough!

Advantages: Website is very straight forward and simple to use. Service is good value.
Disadvantages: Goods very delayed. Might never have got there if I hadn't noticed a problem!

...I recently bought some items with MandM Direct which unfortunately had to be returned (Superdry Clothing was not designed to fit "normal" people!) and noticed on their website that they were advertising a company that offered cheaper rates than Royal Mail for returning goods. I had a quick look at the details and thought I would give it a whirl. So I went on and followed some very simple instructions on the Collect + website. I have to say that at this point I was very impressed as the website was easy to use and explained things very well. You type in your postcode and it tells you the nearest place to take you parcel, which would be a local corner shop or similar. Then you have to book it in on the website and pay. Let's hear it for Belgium!

Advantages: excellent qualtiy
Disadvantages: too many of some biscuits, expensive

...biscuits of last year?s crop: Marks and Spencers Luxury Belgian Biscuit Collection. I hooted with delight and scanned the box. The assortment had changed a little since last year but my favourite biscuits remained pretty much unchanged. The tin then mysteriously vanished into my suitcase (or rather a box I was taking back with me) so that no-one else could snaffle them. The Biscuits come in a lovely golden tin with a pleasant little pattern on it. There is a strip sealing the box that has a picture of the biscuits on it. The underside also gives a description of the biscuits. I am promised 156 biscuits in 16 varieties so technically these would be good to share. Alas my personal need is greater.
