...Apple mac-books, where to start... ok, so to start, it is an apple, that means you get a solid quality product and on the whole very good customer are. this particualar apple is deffinatly more suited to being a media center than other laptops. At first glance you realise that it is a fairly large laptop, this allows for a big screen, which being an apple ffers clear vivid displays, unfortunatly the big screen increases the overal size and also uses more battery, however, the 4.5 hour yattery is still very good for an entertainment laptop. The laptops technical specs include a very fast 2.5 ghz dual core proccesor which is very fast, the dual core allows it to tackle multiple tasks quicly as well as increasing the overall speed of the laptop. Shows exactly where each lead goes and how to navigate the menu?s to set it up just as you want. VALUE FOR MONEY Really you?re looking, as far as I?ve seen, anything from £400 up. But for what you get it is great. Just think of the desk space, the speakers built in and it?s 17 inches of lovely monitor. MY OPINION I?d get one for sure. Oh look I did. You can get cheaper monitors so I?d recommend looking at others too before jumping in. But personally I love it....

Superb 17 Inch Flat Screen

...I recently upgraded my office computer display to a flat screen. The choice wasn't large but the quality of the products on offer was superb. I choice the Belinea 10 17 10 TFT flat screen, resolution 1280 x 1024 with built in speakers, because it looked professional and was the most cost effective I could find. I have been using the display for 1 week now and cannot fault it. Although it is not until you see a traditional monitor that you appreciate the desk space being saved. Indeed my desk looks less cluttered with just as much 'work in progress' as before. Tip – Read the instructions that come with the panel. It does not come with software, which must be downloaded from the web site but at least that ensures the most recent versions. Advantages: Lots of connectivity - Big keyboard - excellent screen - Good spec

...I managed to pick up this netbook for £299 which is oustanding value - from play.com. The netbook is very light and can fit almost anywhere - it is very easy to carry around - you can set up anywhere and very easily connect to the internet where available. The netbook looks very stylish and everything is laid out well. The keyboard is the biggest i have ever seen on a netbook - its almost full size which is a bonus as I have a lot of typing to do. One disadvantage of this is that the mousepad has been made very small which is a nuisance - you do get used to it but it is not ideal. My background with computers is vast having built many and installed multiple operating systems on each, however i have never owned a laptop. Therefore i was a little dubious about some of the things such as keyboard size, processing power and battery life. Samsung NC10 Black netbook a lightweight and excellent netbook

...I bought my NC10 to replace my laptop which was just too heavy to be carrying to and from work everyday. I purchased my NC10 on a promotion weekend from a high street store beating online prices significantly. I was trying to avoid big bulky items to carry as I was on crutches at the time. Not recommended but straight out of box into my rucksack in the shop from which it was purchased. Didn't notice much weight difference in my bag at all. The Samsung NC10 has served me dilligently now being used more and more instead of my normal laptop as battery life is excellent. I use the NC10 round the house for coursework, work and even during my work lunch. ...Our large, four bedroom house is over 200 years old and therefore has no cavity walls to insulate. After a cold and damp 2008 summer we were suffering from condensation and mould problems in spite of extractor fans in both kitchen and bathroom. Time to dehumidify! We bought our DEM 10 at Curry's for £99.99. It is compact, easily moved with a fold-out top carry handle and absolutely idiot proof in use. The level of humidity that the unit will pull down to can be controlled via a knob on top of the housing and there is a full tank warning light. The water tank is transparent so that the water level can be seen at a glance and the tank is so easy to remove for emptying - and, more importantly, to replace. Try some of the competition! A length of polythene hose is supplied to enable continuous draining should you want to leave the unit...

My view on Belinea 102010 15 inch Monitors

Advantages: Not Expensive
Disadvantages: Re-fresh rate is not very high

...I have bought several Belinea monitors and have been fairly impressed. The screen is very clear for a budget model. The monitor controls are on-screen and they are a little confusing at first, but you soon get used to them. Everything you need is only a couple of presses away. The main problem I had, and it?s inexcusable really ? is that the manufacturer doesn?t supply a Windows driver disc to install the monitor. I had to download on from the Internet. I have noticed that these monitors are prone to flicker more than others that I have used. This may not be the general case though, so read other people?s views on this. Overall they are very good value and reliable. They also include a three-year on-site warranty, which shows how reliable the manufactures think the product is....
