...As a school ICT teacher monitors are obviously important to me. We have kitted out our classrooms with the 1730s for a variety of reasons. Firstly they proved to be one of the best value models that our supplier could provide us with. I can't say exactly how much they cost us per unit but suffice to say it was cheap. When our inspection unit arrived we were delighted to find it had a hardened screen covering which means that we have had no failures due to over enthusiastic hands. The range of options are fairtly limited but the auto settings and auto adjust cope with most things we throe at it from a school point of view. The viewing real estate is good with a reasonably small bezel all around and built in speakers at the bottom of the unit. ...Having been stuck with a busted camcorder on the morning on an important family visit, I dashed to a major electrical store to source a replacement, stumbled across this camera, researched the others on display and chose the S26 for ease of use, merit for the make (I bought Lumix TZ5 and have been really pleased with it, quality, capabilities etc, great lens) and general feel for the camera. in my opinion, X70 zoom works very well, resolution excellent for an "older" user and their "junior" assistants. I think that Transfer speed is not rapid, but "so what" in a camera at this price point. Very happy to recommend for general everyday trouble free use. My view on Belinea 102010 15 inch Monitors

Advantages: Not Expensive
Disadvantages: Re-fresh rate is not very high

...I have bought several Belinea monitors and have been fairly impressed. The screen is very clear for a budget model. The monitor controls are on-screen and they are a little confusing at first, but you soon get used to them. Everything you need is only a couple of presses away. The main problem I had, and it?s inexcusable really ? is that the manufacturer doesn?t supply a Windows driver disc to install the monitor. I had to download on from the Internet. I have noticed that these monitors are prone to flicker more than others that I have used. This may not be the general case though, so read other people?s views on this. Overall they are very good value and reliable. They also include a three-year on-site warranty, which shows how reliable the manufactures think the product is....
